Great Time Away.

Ocean Isle is such a great getaway and Ocean Cove it the perfect location. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Nice place

We really enjoyed our stay because of the location .We were able to walk to restaurants and beach stores.It was the perfect size for the 2 of us.

Great stay away from home

Condo was exactly what needed for our family of four. Enough space and accommodations provided for our stay away from home. Accessibility to the pool, beach, pier, shops and restaurants were close enough we didn’t have to go far.

Great, clean location

We were really pleased with the location! We have stayed at several different units in this building and this one ranks near the top. Any question I raised was answered immediately, even if it was unimportant. I highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Great Condo and great location!

This condo is newly updated, and it is REALLY nice. The floors, counters, and bathroom are all newly remodeled. The bed was comfy. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water and decent pressure. Be aware, this condo sits right above the pool on the 1st floor, so the pool can get noisy through the day. However, at night, you can hear the ocean very loudly once the pool settles down. Very nice location to shops and restaurants, as well as the pier. Good communication form the hosts! Will def stay here again!

Great location - good value

This unit’s location is the best part. Right in the heart of OIB, very easy access to the pool, and private access to the beach. Parking is easy and convenient. The owners were easy to communicate with throughout the process. Some aspects of the unit are updated while others are older. Everything works just fine, though. The upper bunk bed shown is mostly decorative - the support doesn’t extend the length of the mattress due to the breaker box location and there are no rails. Not a safe spot for kids. Otherwise the sleeping situations are good! Not the fanciest option - but great location and good value!

Great location and amazing view, but condo is very basic and needs some updates.

Love the location and would stay in the condo complex again. Can’t beat the view, but this condo needs some renovations. The kitchen and bathroom needs to be completely gutted and redone, including the tub in the bedroom. More comfortable furniture in the living room. One futon would be nice and maybe a recliner or chair with a ottoman(my husband really wanted a more comfortable chair).

Great location!

The condo is a little dated but provides the basics. The location to the beach cannot be beat! Loved having shops and the ice cream parlor within walking distance!

Ocean front condo best location in OIB

The pros: The condo has the best location in OIB. Is walking distance to the Creamery the arcade , you can even see the fireworks on the 4th. Has a pool for the littles if you like that ( we didn’t) . You have the ocean in front of you. Condo has everything you need if you want to cook ( we did not) but we did use the coffee maker which is great to have vs a keurig. Having Netflix, the futons in LR was very convenient. Communication with Stacy was very fluent and we event got an early check in. Cons: Just the amount of people in July right in front of our window and in the pool but I get it it’s too week in summer in July! Too crowded and noisy for us Also being in the lower floor you hear people walking above you. Overall a good stay and a great location.

Great place!

We stayed the weekend at OIB, because my daughter had a dance competition in the area. The condo was wonderful! The unit is located in the perfect spot, close to the parking lot, the pool, and right on the ocean. There are lots of fun spots within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice getaway

We love being oceanfront and it’s very peaceful this time of year. This unit is not extravagant but you have all the basics and then some readily available. Great for a couple that just wants to enjoy the beach.

Beautiful View

I've been coming to OIB every year for over 40 years. We've stayed oceanfront, on the canal and on both ends of the island . Of all of the places we've stayed this one has the best location of all. So many things to do are within easy walking distance. We enjoyed eating dinner on the balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean. I was pleased that the kitchen had a Keurig. I enjoyed drinking morning coffee while looking out on that amazing view. When I had questions concerning the unit the owners responded immediately. I would definitely stay at this condo again.

Ocean Cove at OIB

We love OIB and try to come every year! We love every thing about OIB. We have stayed at Ocean Cove several times and love the location and the pool. The Ocean Cove pool seems to be one of the only places to stay that has a pool with a wonderful view of the beach. The condo cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The pool skimmers need to be cleaned. Looking into the pool skimmers it appears as if they have not been cleaned in quite some time as evident by the amount of bugs the pool did not filter everyday. My husband used the net on the pool several times a days as did other guest. The condo its self was not clean. The shower walls were not cleaned. The futons in the condo appear to have not been swept in between guest. The floors were gritty, dusty and sandy. The TV screens had greasy finger prints. The mirrors were dirty, especially the big mirror in the living room. The counter tops were greasy and gritty. I might also mention we talked with several people staying at Ocean Cove who mentioned their condo was not clean. Let me emphasize that we had a great time and will go back to OIB. We are not to picky as we go for the beach, relaxation, food, and friends/family however, I do not like cleaning the the shower and countertops in a place I rented for a week that cost over $1200. Let me also emphasize again, we spoke with many other guest who had the same complaints. I know with covid shortages of cleaning staff is probably an issue but the ones you have now are not doing a good job.

Fantastic location

The location of this condo is fantastic. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The only down side I can mention is that the mattress has seen better days. Other than that, it was great.
