The place as advertised! Great, quiet location that was perfect for my group. The place is older so don’t expect modern but it was cute, quaint and comfortable. A few steps to the beach was exactly what we wanted!

Perfect location with private beach access and only a 15 min walk or 2 min to shops and restaurants . We loved our stay and would definitely book again!

Property was great, just over the dune from the beach. Location , location, location… very walkable to restaurants. House was quite dated.

The history of this house is amazing and the views are beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet nature of this neighborhood and the attention to detail inside of our house. It was super clean and very comfortable! A big downside that I wish I knew prior to booking was that no space outside of the house would be able to be used. My dogs barely could go potty without being swarmed by ants. We barely could walk to our car without getting swarmed by ants. Having the pups have to stay inside for majority of the day is far from ideal; if I would have known this information I would have either booked somewhere else or made special arrangements for my baby’s to be able to also enjoy there vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is perfect for a family looking to spend quality time together at the beach. The upstairs screened in porch is amazing, we ate breakfast and lunch there every day. While on the sand we marveled every day at how uncrowded the beach was. We saw dolphins swimming in the surf every day a d enjoyed walks in each direction. The property is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Overall a great experience, we would stay again without a doubt.

Perfect beach house property for us. We could see the ocean from the bedroom with a nice deck. The private beach access was exactly what we had hoped for and our dog loved heading to the beach!

Beautiful house right on the beach. Well stocked , clean, and cozy beds. Was just a short stay for a funeral unfortunately, but was nice to watch football and relax and listen to the waves.

Great location!

Great location on the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. We will definitely book this property for our next stay on Hilton Head!

The photos on the listing do not accurately reflect the current state of the property. While the location was phenomenal, the house itself was very dated and worn. The air conditioner was subpar and inadequate- resulting in the need for continued maintenance. AvantStay sent people to work on the single AC unit but there wasn’t an easy fix. The reason why was the single AC which was meant to cool the both floors of the house was woefully inadequate. Furniture was dingy and a few chairs were absolutely dirty. The Avant Stay rental company was responsive to the AC issues but we never had a really cool house and in fact for two days it was overwhelmingly hot. I would never stay here again and advise everybody to avoid this rental in hot weather.

Great location

Cute beach house, beautiful view of the ocean and close to coligny. Lots of things to with kids, the house had games and shuffle board. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Family Beach Stay

This was a great beach house for family and friends just wanting to relax and cook and hang out in a casual setting. With a private path right to the beach, you can't beat it. Beautiful ocean view, nice porch, games at the ready, comfortable beds - our group loved every second!

Hidden older gem

We really enjoyed our first time visiting Hilton Head Island and this older home was a hidden gem surrounded by beautiful beach houses some still being constructed. If you enjoy older homes would definitely recommend place. The views and beach were beautiful and there was shopping and restaurants within fifteen minutes walking distance. The only drawback was the traffic mainly getting there on Saturday but that should be expected. We loved our stay there.
