Beautiful, and one of a kind private farmhouse, perfect for entertaining large groups & families! Very secluded 6 acres right outside Saugatuck, Fennville & Holland. In the summer enjoy the pool and hot tub on the warm summer days if you wish to stay nearby. The screen porch is so relaxing to read your favorite book, take a nap on 2 of the twin swings or just listen to the bluebirds! Or if your family desires- hit up the many gorgeous beaches all around. SO much to see and do in this area! many trails to hike, wineries and dining all around! Arnold Palmer Signature golf course, "The Ravines", 1.5 miles around the corner!

In the winter enjoy the hot tub and heated barn space with ping pong, fooseball, basketball and many indoor toys and scooters.

Your family will love the many activities on the property! Trails and a tree house, playset, trampoline, heated barn with basketball hoop, yard games & inside ping pong, xbox, & pool. Long private drive - paved perfect for scooters, bikes, hoverboards & rollerblades. Pickleball in heated barn!

In the summer months we also have a vintage camper on the site! No water but there is electrical and sleeping for 4-5. Your kiddos will love the camping feel after a night by the fire roasting marshmallows. If you would like to use the trailer remember bedding and sleeping bags.

This home is located a few miles from Downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. Four Miles from the world famous Oval Beach. 5 to 10 miles from Apple, strawberry, blueberry, red raspberry, pumpkin picking, wineries, brewery, cider mill, hard cider brewhouses, Lake Michigan. There are tons of antique shops and markets in the area. The towns of Saugatuck and Douglas are fantastic little towns -- a lot of unique stores, many art galleries, great restaurants and bars.

There are also a hand full of boat rental places for pontoons, kayaks, paddleboards and jet skis located within a few miles. There are also great fishing charters that leave from either town.

No High School or College Parties at all, this home is made for Families!! WE NEED TO RESPECT NEIGHBORS! Also this is our family home so we do want you to highly respect its beautiful nature!! No Weddings, no receptions. No shooting firearms, no atvs. Driving slow on the long private drive!
Just note township ordinance has quite time after 10! So nothing loud outdoors then

Family Thanksgiving

This property is amazing. It is obviously set up for providing a maximum summer experience but even in the winter time; the property is so beautiful and provides a place for kids to play and adults to chill. We had a great experience.

Perfect for the whole family!

Great stay at a beautiful house!

The house is beautiful. There is so much to do there for the kids and adults alike. We did all the things - pool, hot tub, basketball, swing set, campfire, card games in the 4 screened patio, nature walks, board games, movie nights. The host was available for any questions and was always very nice. We highly recommend the farmhouse! We definitely plan to come back!

Beautiful home for a getaway

Beautiful home on a beautiful property. We had 20 guests and never felt crowded due to the many different areas to relax/hang out. Quick drive to nearby beaches and downtown shopping. Great place and would highly recommend!

Great house, great location

Property met our needs, even tho not exactly as advertised. There was no trailer, no bunk room, very uncomfortable bed in 3rd upstairs room. Owner was helpful.

Extended family celebration

We had a large extended family gathering with kids ranging from 3-17 and many adults. The property was a perfect fit for our large group and various ages of guests. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed. Kristi was very quick to respond to any questions and super helpful with the check in process. We would definitely stay here again. Having such a large group the property was accommodating and there was a lot of activities to keep everyone busy and happy.

Perfect 3-day weekend

Very nice and relaxing home. Multiple spaces to lounge and would be perfect for family groups with kids of all ages - lots of options for younger children and teens. Extensive number of bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely book again if the occassion arises.

Family Reunion

House was great for our extended family reunion. Kitchen supplies weren't in the best condition, but there were plenty. We had to do routine pool maintenance (vacuum and chlorine) which if we didn't have experience with would have been intimidating. Overall we had a great week!

Great Large Family Home

We stayed at this property with a group of couples who all had young children (aged 9 months to 6 years). It was a great spot for us—the home has tons of different activities for children and adults and is very secluded for privacy. The owner Kristi was great about communicating and addressing any needs at they came up. I think this house is perfect for a similar large group who wants to spend time together but also have easy access to the beaches and attractions in and around Saugatuck.

Youth group retreat

This is a beautiful house with a lot of room for making food, eating, playing games and so much more. We had a great time. A couple things I that would’ve improved the stay: the floor map shows a walk-in closet in the master bedroom that I was planning to have my daughter sleep in but it is locked… I probably would’ve chosen a different place had I known that but we made do. I also think that for the price and how large the house is, there should be a little bit more provided than just a “starter set” of things like trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. Things like that. Luckily I brought a few of my own but we definitely ran out of trash bags and toilet paper in one of the bathrooms and we were only there from Friday evening to Sunday morning. And I don’t think anyone actually found dish washer tablets so we hand washed and used the regular dish soap provided. Just fyi if you’re thinking of renting here. Overall though, communication was good and was flexible with check-in and check-out, which I appreciated very much. The place was clean as well and the master bed was comfortable. There are tons of dishes available which I liked, two coffee makers, a panini maker, a double oven which was awesome, and even a little infant seat for eating. We throughly enjoyed the pickle ball court in the big garage/rec room area.

Family Holiday

My family flies in from all over and meets together for a Christmas party. This was a new spot for us. There were plenty of beds to sleep everyone! There was one bed we noticed that looked like it had been slept in and the sheets not changed. So we just washed the sheets with the washer/dryer. We did realize pretty quickly that the house did not have enough toilet paper or trash bags, so we had to make several trips to the store to get the necessities. The home is also on well water and the water from the refrigerator was filtered, but at times it would only trickle out. So another run to the store for water was needed. We don’t mind bringing our own toilet paper, water, paper towels, or trash bags, but would’ve liked to have known we needed that stuff ahead of time. I felt like we spent all Saturday running back and forth to the store. Overall we had a great family visit. The beds were comfy, and the games were super fun for the kids! Kristi was an awesome communicator and always responded right away with all of my questions. Thank you for having us!

Family Getaway

The property fit our family very well. We had 10 adults and 6 children under the age of 7. The screened in porch was a big hit for game night, early morning play time, naps for some of the adults. Every family member had a bed and bedroom which was very nice. Kitchen was fully stocked and we ate in almost every meal. Pool and hot tub was a big hit. We found the pool heater breaker off which made the pool an icy 60 degrees, worked with Kristi and turn the heater on which made swimming much nicer for everyone. We made a few campfires and roasted marshmallows, plus we used the barn and had a couple of work out mornings (cross fit style) The trip to Oval Beach was approx 15 minute drive from the house. Overall, we had a wonderful time

Family Reunion & 50th Anniversary Celebration

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The pictures and details regarding this VRBO were accurate but may not show how beautiful and roomy the home is. Our family of 15 ranged in age from 71 years to 5 years and everyone had a great time! The sleeping arrangements were great - especially for our 7 grandchildren. The other bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. The grand kids loved the lower level that had toys, TV, pool table, basketball and enough room for all of them to enjoy and not feel closed in. The kitchen and eating areas are spacious and we truly enjoyed the screened porch area with the large table - the adults ate all of our meals there. Also, the porch's two "bed" swings were awesome for naps!! The highlight for everyone was the large swimming pool, hot tub and spacious deck! All were clean and the water was clear. The kids also had a great time on the trampoline, outdoor play area and toys in the large shed! The highlight for the kids was exploring the "woods" behind the home. The VRBO homeowner kept in touch to make sure all was going well. We truly had an excellent home to make wonderful memories with our family. Thanks so much!

Nice property

The property overall is great. Fit five families with young kids nicely, though with only three bathrooms it was pretty tight with that many people. Lots of kids games and great spaces. Pool was a highlight as was the multiple outdoor spaces to lounge for adults after hours. Very nice property for kids to spread out. For us the downside was location relative to cost. It’s close enough to Saugatuck, but still a 10 minute drive and in an isolated area. For the nightly charge it was pretty pricey relative to the ease of accessing amenities. The other downside—and this maybe more a matter of our preference—was the fact that this appears to be a families’ home most weeks of the year. I think this resulted in a bit more oversight from the property owner than I’d expect. There were, for example, security cameras that were operating (but apparently not recording—though I’m not sure what this means, as I assume the cameras capture footage for a period of time), in and outside the house. We didn’t think that was all that appropriate. There was also a prominent sign that they monitor the thermostat settings. Neither of these has any material negative effect on our trip, but it did make it a bit awkward. Overall a great property that we really enjoyed. I’m not sure we would go again given the price to value ratio, but still a very nice place.

Charming Rustic Farm House

This property is nice and has lots of Family Friendly activities. The owner; Kristi is very responsive. We had cousins reunion here; 5 families with small kids. Pros: Beautiful property with Large pool with Fence. Hot tub as well. Large Fire pit is great for smores. Swing/Play set and Treehouse in the back. Farm house in the back with Outdoor kid stuff. The screened in Porch with 2 large swing Beds was my favorite spot. Lots of kids toys in the house to keep the kids occupied along with pool table. Large Family gathering areas and large Kitchen with outdoor Deck seating as well. Cons: They want the Temperature of the house to be at 70 or higher. If we are paying all this money to stay in this house, we should be allowed to adjust the temp as we please. During our stay at the house, the owner messaged me via the app and asked me to make sure that the hot tub is covered and the outdoor umbrellas are closed. I couldn't figure out how she would know this and then realized she has cameras outside. I found this intrusive and bothersome as we are on vacation. I have rented many homes and this was a first. The owner appears to live here part of the time so they have most of the closets locked, so there isn't anywhere to hang your clothes. It also says it has 3 bathrooms, but more like 2.5. The second bathroom on the first floor has very small shower. I would also bring: dishwashing pods, dish soap, hand soap, laundry pods and dryer sheets.

Awesome Family Home

Wonderful setting for a large family adventure. The home is a quick drive to Saugatuck and Holland. The barn is such a wonderful place for kids of all ages to play. The home is very clean and comfy. We made great memories on our weekend stay!

Amazing Property

Stayed here with 9 other friends. Place was super nice and massive. So much to do both inside and outside the house. Biggest plus was the communication from the host. She was very responsive during the weeks before our trip as well as during the stay. Not only that, she tried her best to accommodate requests we had. My friends and I have been on quite a few trips like this and this was probably the best place we stayed at. Only issue I'd say was that the host told us there might not be enough propane so we went and bought a tank, but then later she realized there were already couple tanks in the garage. Aside from that, just a pleasant experience overall, and i absolutely recommend this place. It would be hard not to love it.

Great house

Every year we have a golf trip for 10-12 people and we look for a house that serves our needs as a group. This house really had it all. Great location to a lot of good, local courses. The house had plenty of beds and almost everyone had their own room. Weather was warm enough to use the pool and the hot tub was perfect for a good soak after playing 36 holes. We tend to make all of our meals and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pans, and everything else we needed to make some wonderful dinners. It’s a quiet area that really feels like you are alone with just your group. House was very clean and spacious. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend this house for a golf trip but also seems like a great place for multiple families to enjoy a week away from the city. Great rental, hoping we can use it again in the future!

This was a great escape. Very relaxing. so much to do at the house, we almost didn't feel the need to explore the area! The owner was accessible by email, and responded quickly to a question we had.
