Welcome to 8 Crag - the quintessential Sunriver getaway. This gorgeous 2 story, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has ample room for family and friends, and all of the amenities to guarantee a memorable vacation. Enjoy the central location and proximity to Fort Rock Park.

Hop on the bikes provided and explore the bike paths winding through the pines on a beautiful summer day. Cruise over to The SHARC Aquatic Center and make use of the 10 Recreational passes provided with this home. In the winter, head up for some fun in the snow and return to 8 Crag to cozy up by one of the two fireplaces, or relax in the indoor private hot tub. Enjoy a game of pool or table tennis with family and friends. Step out into the fresh air and enjoy a barbeque with friends and family.

I stayed at this place on my 17th birthday, and this trip was for my 22nd birthday. Love all the activities available at the place and it was a wonderful stay.

Spring break in Sunriver

We had a great time in this property in Sunriver. It was just the right size for all of us. The pool table was a plus.

Sunriver getaway

House met all expectations ! Lots to keep everyone busy. Very spacious and plenty of room for 10 of us ranging from 11-75.

Nice place

The pool table was a hit. The kitchen was fully stocked. The house is huge with lots of very comfortable places to relax. Beds were very comfortable.

Great family getaway

Had a great time stay here. We enjoyed all the wonderful amenities that this place has to offer, pool table, poker table, tennis table and the share passes. Gave it 4 stars because The bikes are in rough shape and need to be attending to . We did have to rent our own bikes. Beside that the place was wonderful.

Multi family stay was really nice in this spacious home

The is home has lots to entertain! Plenty of room and the bedrooms were all a very good size! We had 6 kids and 4 adults and never felt like we were crowded. Multiple places for the kids to play and the loop was quiet and perfect for them to ride bikes out front. We will definitely be saving this house and coming again!

We had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay. We noticed that the ping pong table was broken upon arrival, the bathroom door downstairs didn’t lock, and we struggled to turn on the ac- it was hot. It’s a beautiful home!

Lovely Stay

We loved this home and had such a great stay. We have been renting a different home every year in Sunriver for the past 10 years and this home is our favorite home so far. It is clean and immaculate, had plenty of space for everyone, is in an ideal location central to everything in Sunriver and it is so well stocked. We love the vintage Sunriver feel of original Sunriver homes and this home had that, but it is well kept up. We appreciated the bikes, the pool table and card table and used the deck every day. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Crag 8

Needs some updating. Old wallpaper some coming off the wall in wet bar area. House had dog hair in the carpet. The size was great and the kids loved the pool table. The kitchen was well stocked. I would stay here again. Just needs a few improvements.

An OK stay

The house was clean and did not have any visual surprises. I mention this because the home is very dated with wall paper, etc. however that is illustrated in the photos. However, what was not illustrated in the photos or mentioned anywhere is that the Main bedroom (Primary?) is like being in a cave. There is zero lighting in there. A few small table lamps have been put in the room but are far from sufficient. I had to leave the TV on just for the ambient glow. Even during the day it is dark in there. Also, the primary bedroom gets very warm in comparison to the rest of the house. Tried to open the window to cool it off but the window also does not open unless you basically get a crow bar out to pry it open. The house and its layout is in our top 5 favorites. We have stayed in SR for over 30 years. Lovely location and fun home design. Loved the two living rooms and two fireplaces!! Just gotta fix that master bedroom situation.

Great house, disappointing host

We had many issues with our stay. We had a weekend full of plans and were “unplugged”. I reached out to the host when we returned home to explain some of the reasons our stay was unsatisfactory- the response I received was that we should have reach out while we were there. Some of my issues included- there were not extra blankets or towels/wash clothes, nothing. Absolutely nothing for a three year old to do. The stairway was extra wide and there was no gate provided (we had an 11 month old with us and our gate wasn’t wide enough). The hot tub made our suits smell like sewage. One shower was barely warm and another was so hot you couldn’t use it. Over $100 worth of produce was frozen overnight- the night before we had left. All of these things alone are pretty minor and wouldn’t have made a huge impact but together it made our experience not so great. The house is a big but it’s managed very poorly. I also feel that at the price this house is per night the 1970s appliances could be updated.

This house has good space for 12 people. The pool table and game table were nice to have.The kitchen appliances are old. The carpet needs replacing. If they upgrade some things we let them know about this house has potential of being great. The location is good.

Great getaway

The property was large enough to accommodate our group of 12 people. We had an issue with the bbq the first night of our stay and let the property managers know and had a new one within a few hours. This would be someplace we would stay again

Winter vacation

Great house with lots of room. Only negative was that the oven and pots and pans were in need of an upgrade. When I informed the owner at the end of our stay I was told they would look into things, so hopefully the kitchen will be in better shape for the next guests.

Wonderful home to enjoy family time in Sunriver over the holidays

Loved the layout. Big open spaces, but potential for separation as folks wanted to do different activities. Pool table, ping pong, well appointed kitchen, and good media options we're all awesome, and made the place a winner compared to other homes we've stayed in SR. Our only issues were that the hot tub (tho well maintained and pleasant) was in an enclosed and covered room, and the appliances were super dated (tho, again they all worked well).

Good for a weekend trip

Excellent property and was as advertised. The only thing that could really be improved would be updating cook top, cooking was a bit more difficult than expected, but we made it work.

Property was dated, but perfectly fine for a single family or guys trip. Good central Sunriver location, right in the middle of everything. Needs updating and bigger tv's. House had both fireplaces under construction which led to a discounted rate that I had to ask for because I wasn't informed until 8 days before we were set to make the trip that they wouldn't be completed in time, which is half of the reason for it not getting all 5 stars. Other reason aside from the dated appliances/furnishings was it was dusty.

This is a great place!

Convenient location! Paddle boarding in local lakes, and river- close to Mountain bike trails- we tried some blue trails and they were awesome! Close enough to Bend to enjoy some shopping and eating there when we wanted.

Great spot for a big group

This was a great house to stay in with a large group. There were 11 of us and we all slept comfortably and were able to gather in the open living/dining rooms together without feeling tight on space. We especially enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables! The house was clean and the kitchen was full of all the plates, cups, and pots and pans we could ever need. The only downside was that the carpet provoked allergies for several in the group. Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay and made it easy to spend a day at the Painted Hills and explore the high desert!
