The condo was very nice, bed was comfortable and you could see the lazy river from the outside balcony. It was a bit chilly while we were there so we didn’t spend too much time in the lazy river. The 2 hot tubs were inviting. There was plenty of kitchen supplies and very well organized. The shops and some restaurants were in walking distance. I gave a 4 for cleanliness because the floors seemed a little dirty.

Thank you for sharing such positive feedback about the condo, the comfortable bed, the view, and the well-stocked kitchen. We are glad you enjoyed the hot tubs and the convenient location to shops and restaurants. We are sorry the weather was chilly during your stay and that you could not enjoy the lazy river as much. We regret that the floors did not meet your expectations for cleanliness and will look into this with our team.

Great spot!

We stayed at Destin West last year for an event at the convention center and returned back for the same event. Last year’s place (different rental in the pelican bldg) was a disappointment on every category BUT this condo was CLEAN and very ORGANIZED. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Nice clean condo! Easy access to the lazy river and pool. Getting to the beach was more of a hassle. We had to take 3 separate elevators to get there. I wish the condo would have included a beach wagon and/or beach chairs.

Nice clean spacious condo.

Unit was well kept and very comfortable for our group of 10. Would stay here again. A lock on a few of the doors would be a nice add, especially the bathroom but still manageable. Also was a little tough to find a cart to bring our things to the room. Overall a great stay. Thanks

Destin West

We spent a month and a half this winter. Enjoyed the view of the bay, pool and Lazy River. Although the palm trees have grown and the view is not the same as seen on the website. Still a nice view of the courtyard. The weather was unseasonably cool in January, even seeing six inches of snow. The locals loved it. We would stay at this condo complex again.

We would like to thank you for sharing your feedback. We here at Southern strive to make every guest experience with us as pleasant as possible. We understand that your stay fell short of expectations due to the property not being held up to our standards. We understand how frustrating the AC issue must have been, and we appreciate your patience as our team worked to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Upon reviewing your reservation and our communication platforms, there were no mention of your cleanliness concerns or sand in the bed. Due to this. we weren’t able to address those during your stay. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of guest services to enhance the cleanliness and comfort of all our units. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention, and we will make sure to follow up on those matters. We hope to have the chance to improve your experience on a future visit. The only negative we had was the exterior painting all month. I know it was necessary but the constant beeping and engine running from the cherry pickers was annoying.

Heron 306

The condo was great. Plenty of space for all of us. There were lots of towels, dishes, extra sheets/blankets, etc. The only complaint regarding the condo itself was some roaches that we saw from time to time. The property was really nice. The pools were big and clean. The hot tubs were nice. Plenty of floats for the lazy river. Having access to all of the pools was definitely nice. We had dinner one night in the grill area and my kids enjoyed the access to the bay to explore. There were several restaurants within walking distance that we enjoyed. I will say that I am sure that the property could afford to pay someone to spray down the parking lot after the garbage trucks come by. They dropped nasty water all over the parking lot every morning leaving it smelling terrible. A simple wash with a hose would surely help, or move the dumpsters! Other than that we had no complaints about our stay!
