Located right off the sound and just a mile from the beach, it’s the best of both worlds. Kayaks, crab traps, and a paddle board are included for you to enjoy throughout your canal front vacation. If lounging by the pool is more your style, we’ve got you covered too (pool is open and heated May 1 through October 31). Hot tub is open year round! Bringing your boat or jet skis? The dock is all yours!
Home features smart TVs in each bedroom, highspeed internet, a poolside TV to catch the game, an entertainment sound system throughout the house, big beds for everyone, a fisherman’s watch to enjoy the sunset, and the perfect lawn for cornhole. Luxury towels and linens, with beds made, are included.

Host was always available and responsive. Location was great and the neighborhood was very nice snd quiet. My children had a blast crab fishing, kayaking and catching fish from the dock.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The property was close to the beaches, miniature golf, restaurants, food stores, and plenty of wonderful shops. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Communication with the host was excellent. We would recommend this home for a wonderful vacation.

The property is beautiful and has everything you need and want! Well stocked kitchen. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying family time! This was our second stay at this property and we enjoyed it very much, just like the first time!

The house worked out great for our family of 7. Plenty of space. Pool and hot tub were nice to have right there. And family did make it out on kayaks a few times. Convenient to spots along the highway- Jockey’s Ridge mini golf outlets . Even short drives to Manteo and Wanchese. Would definitely recommend this house and its owners for anyone looking for a relaxing Outer Banks vacation.

Perfect location and plenty to do! The house felt like home, and we enjoyed exploring the canals in kayaks (provided) and relaxing in the hot tub. We'll be back!

Beautiful home. Has everything you need close to everything. Extremely clean. Can tell the family that owns this home has put a lot of love and time into decorating and thoughtfulness of what would make your time here memorable. Communication with the host was easy and very friendly! Loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Our party was three couples who needed a few days away to play board games, swim, and relax. The house was immaculately clean and well furnished! The bedrooms were well appointed, the kitchen had just about everything you could need, and the living room wrap around couch was very comfortable. The shower in the master bath was life changing! The back yard was well maintained and lovely, pool was warm and beautiful, and the hot tub was SO relaxing! On top of all of that, Meshe was the kindest, most attentive host we have ever rented from. We will be back!!! Thank you so much for having us!!

This was the perfect home for our excursion. Very clean and well equipped. We are already looking forward to next tear and renting this home again.

House is well kept and clean with a very cozy atmosphere. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked with utensils, island is great touch. It was a bit chilly during our stay but the hot tub kept us warm and comfortable, fireplace was great too. Plenty of room for our party of 6 to relax in everyone's own space. We ate well ( Red Drum ) was my favorite, bowled, kayaked the water, and just truly relaxed at this house. We really enjoyed this time together and hopefully can come back soon. Also, My daughter recommends the cheesy fries if you bowl at OBX lanes. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Superb house
Wonderful house and nicely located. So far the best place we have stayed at along the Carolina beaches.

Relaxing stay
We love the beach but this property was so nice we stayed by the pool and the dock more than we did the ocean! One of the best houses we have ever rented!!!

This home is located in a wonderful area close to everything and very stunning! The pool and hot tub along with the canal is perfect! The home is well stocked with everything you would possibly need while on vacation. My family loved the kayaks! We will be returning next year!!

Excellent again!
This is our third time staying at the Hicks home and it didn’t disappoint! The house is fabulous and the host even better. Everything is so perfect here we will be back again very soon!

Great vacation rental
Beautiful views and location. House had great space to spread out. Pool was heated and great for beginning of season. The owner responded quickly to any concerns.

Very nice property and location, highly recommend. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature for fall swimming which we thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. The kitchen was well stocked with all the platters, bowls, pans and casserole dishes needed for cooking and serving meals for everyone. Hosts were helpful in giving fun rainy day ideas and a list of recommended restaurants. We enjoyed our week tremendously.

Our stay at this vacation home in the Outer Banks was wonderful. The location was great, so close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We spent hours relaxing by the pool and crabbing from the private dock. The house itself was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to feel at home. It was the perfect fit for our family - comfortable and convenient. We're already dreaming of coming back!
