The property needs maintenance and a deep clean. Perhaps because we rented in mid-August, it had gone most of the summer with renters that used and abused it but cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Air filters were visibly filthy, couches and chairs stained, holes in walls, broken bathroom drawers, bunk room had mold on the ceiling, and the dishwasher wasn’t draining properly. We also killed many spiders and roaches. Check-in is at 5pm on a Friday which means no one at the management company is really working when you get in. We used the “emergency” contact number but were told they didn’t know when we could get clean sheets so we waited up Friday night only to not hear anything further until Sat. I submitted messages through VRBO after checking in and also heard nothing back. The layout and amount of space at the property is great. The location of the property is fantastic. The included buggy service is phenomenal and was always able to pick us up within 10-15 mins. This made getting to and from the beach with kids manageable. All in all, I gave it 3 stars because at this price point I didn’t expect so many things to be damaged or dirty. With a little TLC it could be worthy of the price and be excellent but the way it’s being managed currently, I won’t be renting again.

Plenty of room for 3 families to celebrate the holiday together! Kitchen stocked with everything you would need or forgot to bring for a big Thanksgiving dinner. Great communication and all around great experience.

Stay from Oct 8-12

We had a great time gathering with our family. The place was beautiful and accommodated all of us. We got to walk to the Ocean a few times. WE enjoyed the grounds and surroundings. Everything was close to getting groceries and eating out. If I did have any questions they were one call away and very helpful. I would highly recommend this location.

Management group was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process!

Great, quiet place to stay deep in the neighborhood. Overall, we loved the house - pool deck had lots of leaves and debris was our only qualm. Would recommend!

Great week in Hilton Head

The property was perfect for our group (2 families). We really enjoyed the mornings with coffee on the "dock" and the short walk/bike ride to the beach was no problem at all. Overall, a great place to spend a week with friends!

Great house, great location.

The house was great. Plenty to do. Lots of room. Wish basic condiments were provided, salt, pepper, etc… However, everything else about the stay was great.

Great House for Groups!

Stayed here with 6 adults and 6 children and the house was the perfect size for our group! The garage with the games was a huge hit with the kids as well as the pool. Andi was great with setting up the bike rental. We enjoyed bike riding through the beautiful neighborhood and by the beach. The sound system was easy to set up with the app and it was cool to be able to listen to music throughout the house. Hope to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful stay

Very cool house. We enjoyed the pool. The only downside was the A/C in the Master Bedroom was broken. Otherwise, everything else was top notch.

Great house for large groups

Perfect indoor and outdoor spaces to house and entertain a large group (12). Plenty of beds in the evening so everyone was comfortable while still having lots of common areas inside and out for relaxing and entertaining. The pool courtyard and back porch are great for enjoying the nice weather. The short walk to the beach was great and getting to the golf courses we played was a breeze. Recommend to anyone traveling with a large group!

Spacious living

It’s a great home for a large group with all the accommodations-very well stocked kitchen. We loved spending time and relaxing in the peaceful backyard watching all the wildlife. 4 stars for cleanliness due to lots of sand in pool and previous guests had broken a bed which left a teen on the couch.

Great Vacation with Family

We had a great time in this house. The house was beautifully decorated and super clean. We had 12 people (ages 14-77) Everyone had their own space (and bathroom) which was great. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool was great and the huge tv out by the pool was a

35 full sweep

Everything was very good, except the pool heater and hot tub did not work until the last day. We very much enjoyed the back yard that backed up to the lagoon.

Great house

The house was great, everything worked and was clean. The one complaint was the deck/patio/dock area. They were all filthy. The mess that was out there made it impossible to enjoy that space. There were ants plus bird crap all over the chairs and the deck itself. A couple nights we wanted to sit outside by the firepit, but it was too filthy to sit. Inside great, outside not so much.

Wonderful family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about 35 Full Sweep was perfect for our family vacation with three teenage sons. The home was modern and with plenty of space. The pool added hours of fun, and the lagoon deck was perfect for those quiet moments. There were two issues with the pool and dryer, and maintenance came right away to fix it both times. A special thanks to Andi from Vacation Rentals for all her guidance and help with the entire process of renting. We most certainly hope we could rent this home again!

Family VACA July 2023

Reviewer Comments: Loved the roominess of this home; especially in bedrooms and baths. the upstairs room for the grandkids with the bunkbeds was just perfect - lots of space for them and their activities. Kitchen was very well stocked with amenities. While the pool was nice, it didn't have the beauty of the outdoors found in Hilton head. It is completely encircled by home - but it also didn't have the pests which was a bonus. Loved the lighting too for night swims. I'd definitely recommend it for larger family gatherings. AND Vacation Homes of Hilton Head was great to work with! BTW, we were from Columbia, Missouri and not MS.

June 2023 Vacation 35 Full Sweep

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very well decorated. Great kitchen and large island. Pool was not that big but I liked that it was surrounded by the house, keep the little ones from wondering out to the lagoon. I would have liked to have more closets that you could hang clothes in. Some of them just had drawers in them and no rod. All in all I would rent it again. Vacation Homes of Hilton Head were very attentive when I contacted them about the pool light and garbage not being picked up on Wednesday. I would definitely rent from them again.

Nice for a family of 11

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was comfortable for 8 adults, 2 children and a baby. It is located about the furthest from the beach access that you can get in Palmetto Dunes. We had bikes and there is a trolley pick up and drop off. The property was clean. Beds were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the game room! Tons of dishes, flatware and other needed kitchen supplies. We cooked in every evening because it was very busy on the island and we knew reservations for 11 would be hard to find without a super long wait! Did a catered Low Country Boil one evening. The huge counter top was great for that! We were probably most disappointed with the pool. It seems larger in photos. Beware of alligators. There were 4 in the lagoon! Overall a great family vacation!

Needs a maintenance man

The homes floor plan, back porch and neighborhood is wonderful. The interior of the home needs some TLC. The microwave is 8 feet in the air, which is hilarious but also dangerous with hot food and useless for people under 6 ft tall without a ladder. The hot tub should be included in the cost of the rental. The cleaning fee should cover cleaning the counters and sweeping the floors before check out. One king bed was made up without sheets under the comforter and the mattress was not something you’d want to see and not great at 11:00pm after traveling 11 hours. Housekeeping brought us sheets the next day but expected me to make the bed. The pool area is dirty/mildewed and the metal furniture was rusty and broken. Wish I had better things to say. Cool house if it was cleaned up and maintenance better.
