Welcome to the Windy City and home of amazing restaurants, great sports teams, and of course the lake! Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, we can accommodate families, girls trip, guys trip, work trip, and everything in between! Our spacious 3-bedroom apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay!
We have big bay windows to gaze outside sipping some coffee on the comfy chair or possibly getting in some work done with all the natural light at the office desk overlooking the windows.
The kitchen is fully stocked to make a meal at home or enjoy the many takeout options our neighborhood has to offer. We offer coffee and snacks and filtered water in the fridge ready when you arrive.
Our street is permit parking and we offer our guests one pass for each day they stay with us. We are a completely non-smoking property. There is no smoking or vaping of ANY kind in the building, the back yard or the front porch.

The neighborhood is gorgeous. Parking was easy and right in front. The place easily accommodated to four of us with room to spare. The hostess responded quickly to questions. It was extremely comfortable, clean and well kept!!

We used the house as a homebase for exploring the greater Chicago area. Great location for getting to the major roads quickly, though Uber is a better choice if your plans take you downtown. The kitchen was well appointed, though we didn't take advantage of it, as we ate out every meal. The owner had thoughtfully set up a snack and coffee basket as well as any sundries that we might have forgotten to bring. Communication with the owner was prompt and very helpful. If our plans include a return to the Windy City, I would stay here again.

Great place with so many nice amenities

The Home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was a lovely stay. Highly recommend!

We were 5 adults and were very comfortable. The neighborhood and house is quiet and spacious. Fantastic shower. Plenty of towels, glasses and supplies. We found parking in front of the house nearly every day. The street is mostly shaded. The lock box for the key was tough to open. Consider bringing a key chain to make it easier to keep track of the small key The house has beautiful history - typical Chicago bungalow (which made it super special). Outside and back room are inviting and thoughtfully layed out.Excellent communication. Oh! And the little snack basket was MUCH appreciated (healthy, perfect power snacks) and REALLY helped us make it through a moment here & there since we lacked a car and the time to walk & shop. The neighborhood is very walkable with latin-themed grocery, etc. options nearby. Highly recommend and would gladly stay here again.

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful time in the house. Communication was clear and timely, check-in and -out were easy, property exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. We loved the neighborhood, walked around and took the blue line to the city center. Highly recommended!

Stayed twice!

We just stayed at Mirela’s place for a second time. It’s a lovely place with great accommodations. Parking was super easy too. We had a few questions during our stay and Mirela was so kind and quick to respond. Would definitely stay there again!

Our third stay here!

This was our third time staying here so that should say something! The location is great for us when we come up to visit family for holidays. And the comfort and ease of this place is what keeps us coming back. Communication with Mirela is always a breeze, amenities are great, the place is very clean and cozy, and the neighborhood is great.

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful neighborhood to go on a long walk. The hosts were very accommodating. It was nice to have a washer & dryer to use. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy little getaway

The property is surprisingly bigger than we expected. It was super clean and host had thought of personal touches to make us feel at home. It’s nestled on a quiet neighborhood. Would absolutely stay again!

Nice location

Cute house on quiet street. Close enough to explore the city but far enough to avoid the noise. Owner was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Great place for our extended stay

Mirelas property has everything you need with all of the Chicago charm. Very spacious and all the accommodations you could ever want. Mirela was one of the best if not the best host we’ve had through our many stays. Highly recommend you staying with Mirela!

Chicago Marathon Weekend

Stayed here while I was running the Chicago marathon. Was perfect for my infant and toddler and everything we needed for the weekend. Nice neighborhood, easy parking, great communication through the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I own the building and live upstairs. We have a six year old Catahoula/Lab pup who is super friendly. We enjoy traveling and working around the house, so you may see us outside planting flowers, mowing our lawn, or hanging out with our pup.

Our street is quiet and peaceful, but just steps away from lots of restaurants. La Villa is our favorite Italian place with amazing pizza that is a short 10 minute walk or if you prefer driving they have a parking lot. A great local watering hole is Crawford's Food and Spirit that is a 7 minute walk and they have great food too! If you like sushi, Fresh Sushi is a 5 minute walk and BYOB that we absolutely love. We have a Walgreens that is a 10 minute walk away as well a local grocery store a 5 minute walk. Milwaukee is right down our street with lots of places to choose from in either direction with continuous buses running in both directions for many more options.

Other things to note
If the calendar is available, we do offer an early check-in starting at 11am day of arrival at a $50 additional charge and a late check-out ending at 4pm day of check out at a $50 additional charge. Please reach out if you are interested in extending your stay to see if it is available and we will request the additional funds through the platform. We do not offer any other early check in or late check out requests.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We are in the best neighborhood in the city, Old Irving Park. It has the feel of a quiet suburb with all the treats of city living. The blue line is a 15 minute walk and will take you right to the Loop or bring you from O-hare airport. The Edens/Kennedy (90/94) Expressway is super close about 5 minute drive that will take you wherever you want to go. The drive to or from O'hare with medium traffic is about 30 minutes. If you are in town for a Cubs game there is an express bus that will pick you up a few blocks away from us. Our neighborhood is super walkable too if you’d like to exploring.
