We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great trip. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the property was exactly what we were hoping for. The location was convenient, and we really enjoyed our time there. We would definitely recommend this home to others and would happily stay again!

Drift Away

We had a wonderful two weeks at Smith Mountain Lake in Drift Away. The house was a great size for our large family and the dock area was great for swimming and fishing. We brought our boat and had a blast touring the lake and doing water sports! Nice hot tub, comfy beds and beautiful views!

Excellent place for family and friends!!

Great place!! We love the idea of being able to look out the windows at the beautiful view. However, at night we would have liked to have had blinds on the windows for privacy.

This is a beautiful property with almost* all of the things you could want (*I wanted to make a pitcher of iced tea, but there was no pitcher besides the Ninja blender pitcher or hot water kettle pitcher). I don’t mean to complain. It really was remarkable and clean and spacious for our large group that celebrated a graduation. We used the fire pit, the hot tub, the cornhole boards, the TV over the fireplace (inside and out!) and the deck over the dock as our means of entertainment while at the house. There was no time for games (that were also supplied!). The bed/bath accommodations were exceptional for 8 of us. Any potential renter needs to know that the driveway is very steep, and there are lots of steps to the deck/dock. We were fit for the challenge and glad we were as we reaped the rewards at the top of the stairs or bottom of the hill again and again! Would highly recommend!
