The best part of the stay was the location. The view of Proposal Rock is amazing and the sunsets are beautiful every night. The house has had a few upgrades thru the years but doesn't look like it has had any full renovations. I was there for 6 nights with the Labor Day holiday in the middle of the stay. Neskowin is very small and uncommerical, which I liked very much. If you want the tourist shops, etc., they are about 20 minutes south to Lincoln City. A few things to know about the house: the fireplace was unavailable to use and had a sign saying it was being renovated, for the best beach access go north a few houses (the beach access to the south is closed), the toilets aren't the best with the one in the masterbath being reported as needing fixing right away, the kitchen doesn't have a drainboard or salt. I only used one bedroom, the master on the main floor. It has that spectacular view. The bed is quite firm. These items are just to help in your stay and shouldn't detract from selecting the house. Every morning a mama deer and her daughter roam down the street and like to come close to the house. The people at Grey Fox Rentals where you pick up the keys (its very close to the house) are very friendly and helpful.

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love this house. The downstairs kid area is fantastic, the hot tub right on the deck overlooking the beach is fantastic as well. We love it here

Gorgeous location and comfortable home -Neskowin Beach Vacations and host Grey Fox made it a great trip! Well-stocked kitchen; lots of books, games and puzzles; fun game room. Quiet and peaceful beach. Spacious house, the living room and hot tub have a great view. King bed has a very firm mattress. Would love a mattress topper option for that bed in the future. No shampoo or conditioner in the house but otherwise well stocked with soap, towels, etc.

Phenomenal view and setting. Lovely, comfortable home. We spent a lot of time on the deck, which is quite private due to the landscaping on both sides of the yard. The rocks down to the beach are tricky to navigate, but if you walk 4-5 houses either way there are stairways for easy beach access. Well-stocked kitchen. Bring your streaming app log-in info for TV. Friendly, easy check-in and out.

Sunset On The Pacific

Absolutely amazing place with great views. Easy access to the beach. Hot tub while you look out at the sunsets. Great views all around and the pool table, ping pong, and playroom downstairs was a treat. Highly recommend.

50th Anniversary family trip

Beautiful view of Proposal Rock and easy access to the beach steps away. The house is perfect for off season stay when the weather might be bad because of all the activities available downstairs and the great view from the living room and master bedroom. You feel like you’re on the beach when you’re actually warm and dry inside!

Great Family Retreat

The location, the view, and all the amenities were great for my family. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is for the following, which didn’t seem urgent enough to contact the host: slow drainage in bathrooms, not one sharp knife, a half-filled hot tub, and a check-in process that requires you to go to their office in Lincoln City. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious, each with their own bathrooms, beds comfy, and good insulation upstairs. Beach access was perfect and all the games provided made the rainy days fun!

Get away

House was very comfortable and well stocked. Kitchen utensils were awesome! Not often do I have decent pots and pans for cooking, and matching glassware. View cannot be matched, Outstanding.
