Five of us came back to stay again. Much relaxation on the deck. Beautiful view this time of year - there must be a million shades of green. Beautiful grounds and spacious house. We would like to return again.

Rest and Relax

Wonderful location for biking, hiking, relaxing.Nice swimming pond, fire pit.Beautiful property.Our 7th stay at this property!

We had a great 4 nights at the farm. It was very relaxing and beutiful views. We enjoyed taking care of the sheep The house was well outfitted with everything we needed. Communication with Marcus and check in was easy and he was always available if needed. We are looking forward to going back again next year.

Beautiful home in a picture perfect area! We had so much fun feeding the sheep and Candy, the llama. You could easily stay the entire time in the home. But there are plenty of quaint towns and shops nearby. Marcus and Beth are communicative and caring hosts. You will enjoy your stay!

The five of us friends had a wonderful long weekend stay. All the amenities are plentiful. The landscaping is beautiful. We loved the sheep and llama. The surround towns had some great shops. The area is very picturesque. Communication from the owner is great. All and all a fantastic experience! We have already booked our next trip back to visit again.

The home was lovely, but the property was AMAZING! Marcus and Beth have done a fantastic job with the pond, the bridges, the gazebo, the fire pits. The hot tub was wonderful, although we only used it a few times. The sheep and Candy the Llama were fun to take care of! The fireplace made the house so cozy. We were close to Dorset and Manchester, so a few days of shopping are worth the visit!Thank you Marcus and Beth for letting us enjoy your little Dancing Barefoot Farm!!

A peaceful piece of heaven – we didn’t want to leave!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We loved the warm, inviting house, the gazebo, pond, pastures, and the peaceful silence without phone service — perfect for truly relaxing. The sheep were a blast especially the babies, the rams, and Candy the llama. The night sky was stunning — so many stars we never see at home. We can’t wait to return!

Quiet stay in West Pawlet

Nice quiet home in western VT. House is great inside and out. Lots of outdoor options for relaxing, exploring and beautiful scenery. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Spring getaway

This was our 2nd trip to Dancing Barefoot farm. Marcus welcomed us & our 2 giant dogs for 10 days. For that we are grateful 😇 We enjoyed the property immensely. Quintessential Vermont vacation.

Family Retreat

We couldn't have had a more relaxing place to recharge. The property is far more beautiful than the pictures show. It's peaceful and private. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect Retreat!

Our family stayed at the farm over MLK weekend and had a wonderful stay! The home is absolutely beautiful and very private. It had everything we needed and more. Our dog came with us and enjoyed exploring the property and taking walks on the nearby rail trail. We would highly recommend Marcus and his home - we hope to be back soon!

Marcus was an absolutely amazing host. My Dad has some mobility issues, and he made every accommodation to help us make the house user friendly for Dad. We loved the beautiful deck, with all the comfortable places to sit and watch the sunset - and the hot tub - great addition! The sheep are charming, and for those who like to get involved (like me) its a really fun way to get close to the farm life. Absolutely loved every minute of our second stay at Dancing Barefoot farm - I'm sure we'll be back again!

Mountain retreat

Marcus is a supreme host who was both generous and cordial — a true pleasure. The farm is spectacular with outstanding sunsets, lush pastures, a thoughtfully landscaped pond and a comfortable, clean house. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place.
