Warm and cozy

Stayed in this home for a bachelorette weekend in Fredericksburg. It was awesome! The location is great, and very scenic. The home was warm and cozy, perfect after a long day!

I celebrated my birthday in Fredericksburg with a couple of girl friends and we absolutely loved our stay here! We fell in love with this property and are already planning on coming back! Thank you for having us!

Relaxing! Beautiful sunsets! Great decor!

Our family stayed at this property for a long weekend and had such a relaxing time! We loved the minimal modern decor and the wonderful use of outdoor spaces. My daughter was on the enclosed patio swing most of the time we were there! When we arrived, the house was sparkling clean with comfortable linens and plenty of fresh towels for our use. We even had a little welcome gift of snacks. We loved the gorgeous views, beautiful sunsets, and getting to relax for a few days!

Bachelorette weekend in wine country

A beautiful property in a neighborhood with views and the sunset did not disappoint! The design of the house is very cute as-is and was the perfect setting for ladies’ weekend - table cloth and balloons were the only added decorations needed to set the scene. Everyone loved the house and was very impressed! A few issues with wifi, but owners were very responsive. I’d come back with or without a group!

We were here over the week of Thanksgiving. The home is very nice, the property is beautiful and the sunsets are indeed spectacular. My one minor complaint was the master bath window was jammed and could not be opened. Since we were there for Thanksgiving, I had prepped a number of dishes before leaving home and brought them to finish or reheat. I was a bit worried about having to do all that in a 'strange' kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised to find this was the best equipped kitchen I had ever come across in a Vrbo rental. They have everything you need to prep a great meal.Overall, the property was clean and well maintained with modern appliances and a nice TV. They provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including some snacks. The hosts had also decorated for the holidays and that was a really nice touch. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Great spot!

This property was just as advertised, and then some. We had 4 adults and some kiddos, ranging from a year to 3.5 years old. There were two bedrooms on one side of the house, one with a king size, and another with two full size beds. One couple stayed in that side with the kiddos in the bedroom next to them. The other side of the house has the master bedroom, and there's an office behind it, where we put the one year old in a pack and play. That worked great for our setup. The middle of the house has the kitchen, dining room and living room, and it had everything you'd need to cook/entertain. There's a huge screened in patio that stretches the entire length of the kitchen and living room. We had a lot of fun on the patio. It got a little warm out there, but they have two fans on there that made it really nice. The house sits on several acres on top of a hill, and it was spectacular. Deer were always around, and it had wonderful sunsets. There's two fire pits for you to sit around, and also a patio on the roof of the house. There's covered parking for two cars as well. The house was about 20 minutes from Main Street in Fredericksburg, so it was very quiet all the time and very dark at night! We truly loved our time out here, and will definitely go back. Beautiful and relaxing

We had an absolutely amazing time during our stay! The home was just as described and oh-so comfortable. I didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely stunning place to stay and enjoy with family. Views are amazing. We took our family of four kids ranging in ages 7 months to 8 years, and they all had a great time. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

Great Little Getaway House

This getaway house delivered greatly!! From check in to check out. Beautiful views from sunup to sundown. Deer prancing through the property. Great Beds and a nice kitchen!! We would definitely use this property again!!

Sunset in Fredericksburg

Overall really nice stay. Incredible views. Nice tray of goodies and wine when we arrived was appreciated. Great place for family vacation. Pet friendly. Would have loved a small fenced in spot for dogs. But no big deal. Felt bigger in person than pictures. There several external cameras on property so felt like big brother is watching, but I get they need to keep an eye on the place. I would stay again.

Excellent views and comfortable home!

The property was great, from the sunset views to the wildlife running through the country side. I would definitely recommend this quiet home to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing weekend with friends or family! The host responded to questions promptly.

Relaxing Weekend

My family and I stayed in this property over the weekend to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted with a tray with some good snacks and wine. Everything was very clean and well thought out. You can tell the owners have paid a lot of attention to the details. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you can think of and the space was great for cooking and dinning. The house is beautiful and has the most relaxing views of the hill country. Our overall favorite feature of the house was the porch. It is a great place to hang out and enjoy the breeze. The owners were very helpful and friendly! We would definitely stay here again :)

Home away from home!

Planned a weekend trip with friends, and this property served as the home away from home we were looking for. The beautiful sunroom and rooftop views were what drew us in pictures, but the living spaces were equally enjoyed during our time there. The property is well kept and the home has such beautiful art pieces and furnishings throughout. The property owner was kind enough to leave a few items for us that added to the luxury and comfort of the trip. In the end, we all agreed that it was a place we'd love to return with other groups of friends.

Nice for the most part

We rented this place for a week for a family get together. I arrived two days late and by the time I arrived we were out of toilet paper paper towels and hand soap in the kitchen also out of dishwasher detergent and dishwasher liquid. I'm sorry but when you're paying this much this shouldn't be a concern at all for the week. Also there was a small packet of coffee. So I just think anyone who stays here should plan on bringing basics with them. I just don't want to shop for that stuff when I'm on vacation. There are scorpions and lots of bugs on the property which wasn't that unexpected being so far out in the country but just be careful to look for those things.

Thank you for your feedback Jeanne and I wish I would have known this earlier when I contacted you to make sure ever was going well. We leave 3 rolls of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper and 3 packets of coffee every stay, as well as a new sponge for the kitchen and everything to keep clean, we also leave a good snack tray for you all to enjoy and make sure you are comfortable when you arrive. As it shows on the house manual we will leave everything to start your vacation and a little extra. I am sorry that by the time you got there there was not enough of everything. We are always thriving to make every stay great. Our property is on 8 acres and we have a lot of wild life around. We have a pest control company that goes every 3 months and when needed in between but it is impossible to not have any insects outside being in the hill country. Thank you again for staying with us.

Fabulous Getaway

We absolutely loved and enjoyed this home! This was our first time renting a home, (we had always just stayed in hotels) and for it being our first time this was a fabulous experience. The home was exactly what you see in the pictures and more! Everything is top notch from the beds to the towels to the linens to all the kitchen appliances, pans and utensils! And the home is super pet friendly as well! Can't say enough great things! We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for making trip that much more enjoyable 😉

Peaceful views newer property w/new furnishings

Great stay, nice newer house nicely done with all new furnishings. Great screened in deck and big sliding glass doors to open up the back of the house to the deck. Really nice place.
