Great location. Pictures are Deceiving

I will say that this location is amazing. And it’s a very cute place. However it is not technically two bedrooms it’s a one bedroom with a bed and a sunroom off of the one bedroom. So whoever had to sleep in the sunroom was freezing at night and also could not sleep in due to the amount of light. Which also made it impossible to have privacy in the main bedroom because the people staying in the sunroom had to access the rest of the house by coming through that bedroom. The beds are also smaller than it looks like in the photos and very uncomfortable. Again I think it’s a very cute place just don’t expect to have you own room or sleep in Past sunup. The batteries and a lock we’re also dead so we had to go buy some and replace it because the owner did not respond to my message this was very inconvenient as we were trying to get to a wedding and didn’t have time to be making extra errands and buy things for a Vrbo.

Mice & Mold

From your pictures that property looks wonderful. But when you get there there is rot everywhere in the windowsills the doors mold mice I stepped on a thumbtack the carpets were filthy dirty the mattresses were lumpy had these horrible plastic things underneath the sheets the sheets didn’t look clean the whole place was an absolute mess. I stated before on your website and I will tell you again I am seeking out an attorney for false advertisement unless I get my money back or at least a portion of it!

Location

I read other reviews that were spot on- location is perfect, 2nd bdrm you have to go through other to access and neighbors loud. Not much to add except it was cleanish and I say that the core was clean just has brick interior so lots of dust and some mold around ac( we have bad allergies). Would stay again

Perfect location

This French Quarter VRBO in the perfect location and within walking distance to most everything. Our host was welcoming and responsive. Check in process was super easy. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Not a Great Stay

The property was not maintained properly. Bathroom was not cleaned, sink was clogged, outlet covers taped on, dirty furniture, lousy bed and the place smelled damp and moldy after rain. Pictures online did not tell the true picture. The pool also needs a lot of refacing work. The property is in a great location for access to everything but other tenants in building were noisy.

A Must Stay!!!

First, Kevin was an amazing host! Second, you can not beat the location, and with the heat the pool was a life saver. If wanting a place that is close to all the action in the French Quarter then look no further!

Very responsive. The property is older and in rougher shape than the photos, but the host was helpful and responsive. I would stay here again.

Great place with a pool in the FQ!

This place is great for a small group of people. The pool was refreshing and the location is just minutes walk away from the all action on Bourbon Street. The only pitfall is one bathroom and having to access the one bedroom through the other but it didn’t bother us too much during this stay. But I highly recommend over a hotel in NOLA anytime!

Great location

Wonderful location. Perfect for exploring the French quarter and was not a bad walk from the Smoothie King Center after a concert when Ubers and Taxis were impossible to get and traffic moving at snail pace! Clean. Easy check in. The neighborhood is a little noisy and neighbors played loud music early in the AM and the rooms were bright. I would certainly stay again - but perhaps bring a sound machine and sleep mask. Had a great stay!

Authentic New Orleans French Quarter experience! The place has a lot of character and is beautifully decorated. We liked the courtyard and pool in the back. Exactly what we wanted for Mardi Gras, close to everything!

Good for what it is

The location makes this a great place to explore the French Quarter and nearby neighborhoods. We weren’t wowed by the cleanliness or amenities (bought our own soap, sponge and paper towels) but it worked well as a base to explore New Orleans from. It’s a funky space but works if you’re flexible! We enjoyed our time overall.

Great Stay

Large, beautiful space with a great location. The courtyard and pool are wonderful. The surrounding area is a little loud and the windows are thin. Lots of light comes in the back bedroom. The two bedrooms are connected where you have to go through one bedroom to get to the back one. But this wasn’t a big deal for our group. Overall a good stay.

Better than a Hotel

Spent one week here over the Christmas holiday. Property was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Check-in went fine (just one bump because UBER driver let us out at the corner of the street). Kevin provided all details to check-in and was available throughout our stay. Property was very nicely decorated and as described in the listing. Nice sized kitchen and living room. TV's in both bedrooms and living room. Plenty of room for our stay. Previous guest reviews outlined "nuances" with the property, but no show stoppers. Property had a true NOLA feeling to it. My wife fell in love with the patio which was a great place to hang out both in the morning and at night. Property was located two blocks from Bourbon Street and four blocks from Canal Street - perfect location!. Location also allows guests to hear the "neighborhood entertainment" which occurred most nights after hours. Irish coffeehouse and bar around the corner was a pleasant surprise!

Within walking distance

Close to everything we wanted to do..walked everywhere. The kitchen could use a fry pan for eggs and a crockpot..it was very clean and very nice to supply coffee trash bags paper towels

Perfect Match for Our Eating and Drinking Getaway!

To kick things off, the condo is in such a great spot that you’re immediately immersed in the NOLA party scene and culture. Just walk out the door, through the front gate and your there! A local 24/7 dive bar right on the corner, an Irish coffee house with its shabby chic courtyard a few steps more, and two short blocks after that?... Bourbon Street with all its energy and color! It was even close enough for us (just under a mile in distance) to walk to the more refined fun of Frenchman Street. The décor and historical past of the condo with its exceptionally high ceilings (and I mean high ceilings, almost 15 feet throughout) with restored rustic details (solid walls, ample molding, very, VERY tall and generous windows. Try finding that at the Hamptons Inn!) Alongside the well-chosen art pieces, and furniture (organic and natural materials against handsome black metals) was the “as far away as we can get from the typical hotel” vibe we craved. Truly well done! The smaller, amusing details of staying at the condo (which we chuckled over) were… The absence of ANY closets to hang clothes or towels (lol.), the ‘railroad’ layout of rooms (no hallway as to walk through one bedroom to get to the other and then back through again to get to the bathroom), the learning of the light switches (another lol. which you’ll find out if you chance to stay), the not so finely finished details of fixtures (tape here, loose this and that there), and the ‘local flavor’ i.e. street sounds (partying, arguing, and so on) which filled the front living room area from late evening to literally early next morning. Among the nuances and idiosyncrasies were anything else you’ll expect for comfort (flat screen tv’s in every room, new frig, coffee maker, quality bedding, etc.) So. Combining ALL the aspects of staying here… It was the perfect NOLA experience!

Fabulous location! Really cute apartment

Me and two friends came in for a three day trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We walked down the street to the market and got a few essentials the house was equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool outback was an added bonus because it was a little hot when we were there. Great neighborhood restaurants. Wonderful time!

No communication from property owner

The property owner never sent any information about check in or check out. When arrived, there happened to be a lady standing outside the building. We asked her if she could let us in and she called Kevin. Otherwise, nothing was sent to me at all. There is a missing window pane in the first bedroom. You can imagine the noisy coming from that. Also the second bedroom mattress is very worn. If you sleep with someone, you both roll to the middle of the bed.

Truly a gem

The apartment is located in a small historic building and contact-less check-in is super simple. Kevin is available on Vrbo messenger and quick to reply. The apartment is cute and in great shape, but my favorite is the backyard and private pool for the building. A very relaxing spot and so close to the main attractions in French Quarter. Highly recommended, as this property is better than any hotel!
