Log Home With A View

Hidden in the trees this 3-bedroom 2- bath offers the rustic feel of a log home with all the elegance and amenities necessary for a great time. This home offers 27ft windows for a view of the Valley, Coburg Hills and on the 4th of July fireworks across the valley. It has three decks, two on the front side, one offering a waterfall and pond. One on the backside for Cigars and Cognac. The back deck also has the BBQ. There is a common area Living room for adult conversation with a floor to ceiling rock fire place. Upstairs is a 900 sq ft loft with a fireplace and the 55inch smart TV. The loft is also fully stocked with all the children’s toys and a pull out bed for the 4th sleeping area.

Another Great Family Getaway

Perfect location for our family to all stay together - my son’s family who live in Eugene and my daughter’s family who live in Texas. A great base to tour north, south, east and west Oregon.

Great cabin for Thanksgiving

We spent four night here during Thanksgiving week. House was very clean and decorated for the holiday/season. Owner was very communicative and quick to reply, but we didn’t need anything during our stay. The view was amazing at all hours of the day or night and we took advantage of the fireplace every day we were there. Shower in the master bedroom was amazing. Will definitely stay again when in Eugene/Springfield.

Wonderful relaxing stay!

A peaceful, well appointed cabin in the woods! Perfect hosts who made the house welcoming, interesting and wonderful baked treats awaiting our arrival! A perfect family escape but close to town and amenities!!

Track Meet Stay

Property was beautiful with amazing views. The drive over to Hayward Field was nice and easy. Would definitely stay again if we’re out in Oregon.

Outstanding home near Springfield, OR

We had the best stay at this home! Our daughter was graduating from U of O, and this property was so central, but yet you felt it was away from everything. The home and grounds were beautiful, and the house itself was perfectly equipped for our group of eight. This is definitely top of the list of our VRBO stays/accommodation - everything was truly perfect for our special occasion ❤️

Great Property

We loved our stay at this wonderful cabin. A handcrafted log home with a splendid view along with a water feature the babies enjoyed watching. Very private with plenty of space. I highly recommend this listing!

Amazing property!

This place was even more beautiful in person! Pictures don’t do it justice! We all wished we had more time there! It was such a cozy spot with great personal touches. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. 10/10 would stay there again !!!

Perfect Oregon experience

This house is stunning. It is located just far enough out of town to feel like you are really away from it all, but close enough to access all the amenities of the cities. The pictures show exactly what you get. Wonderful stay!

Beautiful Log Cabin

Our group of three sisters and husbands absolutely loved this log cabin in the woods! There were comfy places to sit out front or in back on the spacious deck overlooking the woods and the town below! Sunsets were absolutely stunning and a great place to hang out after hiking and sightseeing. The house had everything we needed to cook our meals or to just hang out! The Hosts even had cookies and candy as a welcoming gift!! Thanks for a great time!

Absolutely beautiful, and relaxing! The host was very responsive and thoughtful. We had our kids age range from 18-27, and when we weren’t out exploring Oregon, everyone wanted to go back to the home and relax, and play games! Such a blast, thanks for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful house with fantastic views in a nice quiet secluded location. I have the recommend this VRBO! And the host has left us home baked goods every time we come back to stay. Yes, we have returned... Does that explain that we love this location?!

Excellent hideaway in the woods

Can't recommend this place highly enough. Had a wonderful stay with generous and excellent hosts who made us feel welcome at every turn. The house was as lovely as the pictures show, if not more. Houses often seem smaller in person than the pictures but it was not the case here and everything was well proportioned. Thank you, we'll be back!

Perfect retreat

Our family absolutely loved this home. It was well appointed with thoughtful touches that welcomed us, including the smell of home baked cookies! The home was clean and comfortable. The views stunning. We enjoyed all of the homes amenities and it’s close proximity to anything we needed. The neighborhood was excellent. This is a must stay property. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous PNW Stay

Our stay was so wonderful! As an Oregon native that’s moved away, I wanted to feel like I was in the lush green forest with the ferns, and the ivy, and super tall trees I remember from my childhood, but not be too far from the city. This place fit the bill exactly. The view is amazing, the 3 decks are amazing, the bathroom is amazing, and the beds are amazing. Also, the hosts are amazing and really know how to add those thoughtful touches to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We hope to visit again.

The property was beautiful, the home had everything our family of nine needed to relax, enjoy and create wonderful memories with family members who haven't seen one another in years. Some of which, it was their first-time visiting Oregon as well as traveling away from the Hawaiian Islands, this home brought us all together in one place. Good food, good fun with a spectacular view. The cigar area was perfect for those who smoke and the front patio area with furniture made a great separation for the non-smokers in the family. We had such a great time; our family and friends of the family are looking to reserve this home for another, or first-time vacation experience stay. Mahalo to Kelly and Ohana for memories we will never forget.

In 1994 we took on the building of this home without a kit. We peeled the logs, placed the logs and did all the finish work. We love all the memories this home has brought. At one time it served as a business to provide "High Tea" to many people. We raised two boys, who now have given us 8 grandchildren. We love to spend time on the deck looking over the valley listening to the waterfall and relaxing. When we are adventurous we love to travel. Mostly tropical places. At Christmas the entire house is decorated. We have collected over 300 Nutcracker (no they all don't go out) but Christmas is truly special here. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we have. If there is anything we can do to make it better we welcome your feedback.

Log home experience, excellent views, close to shopping, University of Oregon, Hult Center, and you can see Splash swim park from the front room. You are just minutes away from downtown Eugene and hiking trails up the McKenzie. If you like wineries we have some of the best.
