Top Floor Suite of classic 1940's Beach Cottage with porch & partial ocean view.

Enjoy seabreezes and a partial ocean view while rocking on the porch of this newly renovated, classic 1940's beach cottage, located at No. 3 East Asheville Street. You will find our location ideal with a quick 3 minute, 1/2 block walk to the beach, or a short 5 block walk to the center of town, to enjoy shopping & local dining! For those who love to fish, Mercer's pier is just a 5 block walk to the north. Eagle's Nest features a warm and comfortable "at home" feeling with wood floors and cedar paneling in this top floor suite. A newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen, with all new appliances and a seated bar opens to the living room and dining area. This top floor suite offers three comfortable bedrooms comprised of two bedrooms with Queen beds and one with Twins. The single bath features a new porcelain tub and tiled shower, with a newly tiled floor. Eagle's Nest accommodates up to six adults comfortably. For larger groups this top floor suite can be combined and rented with the main floor suite, "Captain's Quarters", as a whole house rental- ideal for larger family gatherings. The two floors connect via a central spiral stairway. If rented individually, the door to the spiral stairway remains locked. The first floor suite, "Captain's Quarters" is named for the nautical feel evoked by the rope-wrapped central spiral stair and spacious main floor atmosphere. Please see our separate listing on VRBO-2314292. Each floor is 1100 square feet, with a porch that is 200 square feet. Originally built in 1920 this property has been renovated several times with a major renovation to stairs, decks, porches, front facade, while still retaining the warm feeling of a Classic Beach Cottage. Our ground floor features a laundry area with two washers and dryers. You will love our new outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off the salt and sand after a relaxing and fun filled day at the beach! Chairs, cart, umbrellas and boogie boards are available for guests and stored on the ground floor. Each floor rental has off street parking space for two vehicles.

My family was in town for a family reunion. The Pink House was the perfect place for us! Centrally located to all of our activities, quick walk to beach, everything we needed for our stay. Well appointed kitchen, too. Thank you for quick responses to our questions! We will be back again!

We enjoyed out stay on the top level, "Eagle's Nest". The exterior of the home was updated and freshly painted. We loved the outdoor shower! Upstairs was clean, kitchen was updated, linens and towels smell amazing, and we enjoyed sitting on the top deck with partial ocean view and a pretty beach street view. Would stay again when we come to visit our UNCW student!

The pink house was such a neat place, super clean and comfy and a really great location. The host was super responsive and thought of little things to make our stay better. Would recommend the pink house to future beachgoers!!

Race weekend

Came down to do a triathlon and was a great location and place to stay. Good communication and a great location. 2nd time we've stayed here and both time have been great

Wonderful place to stay

Home away from home

The property was perfect. Close to the beach and town area. We sat on the rockers at night and enjoyed our shorts stay. It was a relaxing weekend.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach, walking distance to good restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood. This was our second stay and the reasons for coming back are strong. The unit is comfortable and well appointed.

Great location and easy stay!

Perfect location for an easy stroll to the beach or to grab coffee and a bite to eat. Clean, plenty of towels, and space was great for two couples and a baby. Loved sitting on the porch every morning with the ocean in sight! Thank you!

So much fun!

We really enjoyed staying the Eagles Nest-Pink House! It is in the perfect location for walking anywhere and the beach is super close. Barbara was awesome and very welcoming and we’d love to come back again in a few months!

This is a nice and clean place with a great location. There is a view from the porch. The kitchen is very small, but it’s priced accordingly.

Excellent Stay

We really enjoyed our stay on the top floor of this 1940s beach cottage. It was clean and the location was excellent with a short walk to the beach. The porch is amazing with a view of the ocean in the distance. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice that beach chairs were provided as well as other beach equipment (paddle ball, wagon, boogie boards etc...) The owner was very kind and responsive.

Very accommodating under short notice. Perfect location to everything there in Wrightsville. If you can’t get there on foot, it’s a short drive up the road!
