This was stay #2 for us and it was just as great as the first one! The host is excellent with timely and helpful communication! The property is welcoming and had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean, peaceful, and comfortable. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Everything was nice and well kept. We also had the sweetest little cat come by and keep us company, which made our stay even more special. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect from the location to the property. Everything you need is there and the the rocking chairs out front are perfect way to end the day.

Super cute, quiet property. We enjoyed the home very much! It had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Host was responsive when I needed some help locating the property because I didn’t follow the directions on the property listing (oops!).

Everything about the Bunkhouse is perfect! The owners and host are all so nice. They provided fantastic communication before our trip and our check-in went smoothly. The Bunkhouse is extremely clean and I love the full kitchen. We have stayed here several times and we always look forward to returning to it. As we were rocking on the front porch, my husband and I kept commenting on how peaceful and quiet it is there. We feel right at home at the Bunkhouse.

Great place to stay. Bathroom had one area that could have been a little cleaner otherwise we have come here many times and it’s perfect for us

Sorry you found an area in the bathroom that seemed unclean. I hope you left a message at the house to let us know what needed more attention. It has always been important to us to have a high standard on our cleaning, as we do it ourselves.

We just had a brief two night stay but the property exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, plenty of room for the four of us and we really enjoyed the resident cat and the horses. The host was very helpful and responded immediately to our questions and needs.We will definitley plan to stay again on our next trip to Gainesville.

The owner was awesome and gave us a list of places to visit to make our time more enjoyable. Ice cream at Serendipity was amazing!! The property was close to town and only 45 minutes to an hour from several springs making it easy access for kayakers. The house was private and better than described! Super clean and cozy with super soft beds. They provided us with everything we could have possibly needed. We loved our stay and would go back!

Great, relaxing place to stay - had everything we needed! Will definitely stay again if in the area. Note two things as you prepare: 1. as of March 2026, the metal "bunkhouse" sign has been painted white; 2. bring socks or slippers to wear indoors if your tootsies don't like being bare :)
