Serenity On The River – Cozy Branford Retreat!

Welcome to our tranquil retreat on the Santa Fe River! Our 2BD, 2BA home offers a peaceful escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Nestled on a lot with direct access to the river, you'll enjoy stunning views from the comfort of the living room or outdoor deck. Watch the sunrise over the river while enjoying morning coffee, or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine as you soak in the sunset. Book your stay today and experience the beauty of the Santa Fe River at our cozy retreat!

The interior of the home is cozy and comfortable, with two bedrooms that can accommodate up to four guests– plus a pullout queen sofa that can sleep an extra two. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby parks and trails. Enjoy a game of pool with family and friends in the game corner of the living room, which looks out onto the river! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the surrounding area. Take a canoe or kayak trip down the Santa Fe River, or explore the nearby parks and trails. Tubing and fishing are also popular activities in our neck of the woods. With its natural beauty and peaceful ambiance, our retreat on the Santa Fe River is the perfect destination for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

We are close to many local springs, including Ginnie Springs (19 minute drive), Ichetucknee Springs (22 minute drive), and Blue Springs (20 minute drive.) There are also pontoon boat and jetski rentals available approximately 13 minutes away.

Pets are allowed with an additional $100 pet fee per animal.

We are next door to a boat ramp.

Please be aware that as our home is located in a natural setting on the Santa Fe River, it is not uncommon to encounter snakes, insects, and other wild animals during your stay. We recommend that you take appropriate precautions and exercise caution when exploring the surrounding area.

Please be aware there are exterior security cameras around the outside of the home.

The house was good. The back yard access to the river has multiple cyprus knees sticking up, so can be difficult to traverse. I wish the listing noted prior to booking that it is located on a 1.5 mile dirt road, but being on the river it was somewhat expected. Overall it was a good stay. I would recommend this location.

Nice Quiet place. The park next door is an excellent place to swim or put boat in. Only thing that could have been better if is they provided tubes or kayaks to use on river!

We had an incredible weekend stay at this beautiful home! It was stocked with everything we needed and more. Extremely clean which is very important to us and the host was so quick to chat with before the stay during and after. The location is perfect for a getaway. Nothing but nature! Beautiful area for walking and hiking or just sitting watching the water flow by. We tubed down the springs and had the best time. Absolutely will be back to stay here! The only down side was only having two bedrooms but there is a pull out couch available so that’s a huge plus! If you are looking for a clean, well managed place to stay in a relaxing location this is it. We have stayed at many rentals throughout the years and this was definitely in the top 5. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Everythijg was amazing about our stay beautiful setting beautiful home amazing communication from our host above and beyond, however over two weeks after our stay we received an extensive cleaning fee for pet hair for our non shedding dog who is also kennel trained and sleeps in the kennel other than that last issue amazing probably would avoid visiting this if you have pets other than that definitely worth the trip

We had a wonderful stay…property is clean & as depicted in photos & description. Extremely peaceful property. Only complaint would be the need for better back porch and riverside furniture.

Peaceful spot. Comfortable rooms. Plenty of space for family of four, with two young adults. Great for dogs. Well stocked kitchen. Not too fussy.

This home is idyllic for many reasons—- being right on the river and parking our kayak on the bank and jumping in whenever, the adorable decor, and the thoughtful touches are a few. Loved the spaciousness and the location. We will be back!!!!

Nice Place!Great for putting in kayaks at the 47 bridge ramp and then pulling out at the back yard. There was a wild stretch where we could not see any houses or even lights at night for what seemed like a mile or two.

We had a great stay. Very pleasant setting and extremely peaceful. Although the dishwasher was broken, the host kept in great touch with us and we understood that they were going to replace the dishwasher after we were gone.Appliances break and that could have easily happened to us at our own home.The home was truly a retreat and a haven. It was quiet and at night the skies were so clear you could actually see the Milky Way.

Spring Break Family Trip

We had a great time at this house the kids loved to fish and enjoy the view off the large deck of the river Ginny springs about 25 minute drive

35th Anniversary Getaway

We chose to stay here to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The home was very clean inside. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need. We brought a canoe and enjoyed the river each day. The porch was a wonderful place to drink our coffee each morning and watch the afternoon thunderstorms. We look forward to going back.

Retreat

I loved the property. It was on the river with an awesome view from the sliding glass door of house. Thw only thing that would have made it better was to stay in the summer time when it was warm. Had everything you could have needed.

I read in other reviews that the host was not good in communicating. I didn’t find that at all. Any question I had was answered promptly. I loved the house. We probably were there during the coldest spell Florida has had in a long time . The pool table came in handy. The heat worked well, furniture was comfy, neighborhood was quiet. I would return .
