Cozy fenced in cottage near buzzing restaurants and famous springs. Memory foam beds and newly remodeled kitchen. Wonderful cafe, coffee shops, brewery, and famous springs minutes away. Enjoy a late evening fire pit and grill out with family and friends. This house is perfect for a cozy getaway. 🌿 Local Recommendations

Here are a few of my favorite spots to visit (and eat!) while you’re here in beautiful High Springs:

🏞️ Springs & Outdoor Adventures

1. Gilchrist Blue Springs
One of the clearest and most scenic springs in the area. I highly recommend renting a paddleboard and spending the day exploring the spring run and river — it’s peaceful, beautiful, and a true Florida gem.

2. Ichetucknee Springs
About a 25-minute drive, but absolutely worth it. Float down the crystal-clear Ichetucknee River on a tube — it’s relaxing, fun, and one of the best ways to experience Florida’s natural beauty.

3. Poe Springs
A quieter spot that’s great for swimming, picnics, and a slower pace. Perfect for families or a peaceful afternoon in the water.

4. Ginnie Springs
Famous for its vibrant blue water and underwater caves. Great for swimming, snorkeling, or just lounging by the spring. It can get busy, but it’s definitely worth seeing at least once.

Location was great, easy drive to local springs and local restaurants.Not the cleanest, lots of dog hair, the throw blanket in the livingroom was full of dirt, towels smelled sour, and bedroom floor was lifting so it was covered with a rug.

Everything was smooth and as expected. The space is super cozy and great location from town and the springs. We were able to bring our dog and he enjoyed his stay as well.

Close to Springs! Perfect place to stay if visiting the Springs nearby. We loved that the location was quite and perfect for our family of 6. I believe they had an air mattress but we brought one and had plenty of extra room in the extra large living room to set it up. Kitchen had all the pans, utensils and a few panty extras that helped make dinner each night work perfectly. Plenty of extra towels and sheets with a cozy beds. Very close to doller store (for last minute things missed) a publix and a very sweet downtown with shops.

Overall the house was fine. Decently clean and equipped. Pros: quiet area, simple and quaint, whole house, close to nearby springs, comfortable beds, lovely showers, double sinks in master, huge tv, excellent AC, nice kitchenCons: sink faucets clogged - low volume of pressure, hard water, broken recliner, small dining area, less than ideal outdoor furniture, fire pit rusted out, slow internet, It was missing some key items: a fire extinguisher, only had 3 dining chairs when there were 4 of us staying, only 2 rolls of tp in each bathroom for a whole week. Upon messaging with the host, they supplied these items the next day.

We’re disappointed by this review, especially given the amount of effort we made throughout the stay to accommodate your requests. Each time you contacted us with a concern or needed something, we responded and went out of our way to provide what was requested. The air freshener was the only item mentioned after everything else had already been addressed, and we were not given the opportunity to correct that before the stay ended. We take our guests’ feedback seriously, but we also feel it’s important to provide context. We made every reasonable effort to make your stay comfortable and were responsive throughout your visit. While we understand that no stay is perfect, we don’t feel this review accurately reflects the effort made to accommodate you.

Great location near Poe Springs and the downtown area of High Springs. The bed was so comfy! Large enough space for a small family. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the provided snacks and toiletries. It took a little bit to find the TV remote (it was in the couch cushions) and the dining table only had three chairs. It was a little concerning that the key only fit one of the back door locks. Since there is little to do in High Springs at night, it would have been nice to have some games or puzzles available. Overall, a great stay for our short kayaking trip.

Nice, cozy place just as described inside. Loved having the king size bed in the master and a kitchen for cooking. Peaceful location close to where we needed to be. Enjoyed bird-watching all the cardinals gathered in the yard. Jessica was very accommodating and had excellent communication.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. No issues, just perfect. Highly recommended if you're in the area visiting the springs. Attentive and friendly host, comfortable and very clean accommodations.

This place is as advertised with a few caveats. The good things are its locations to the springs and Gainesville, and it is fine for sleep, showers, and had what we needed in the kitchen and for laundry. The a/c works well and the beds were decent enough. The negatives were that the living space is uncomfortable with the cheapest furniture available. The sofa recliner was broken on one side and wonky, and a kitchen chair is missing, so there were three, and we were a family of four. However, there were plastic outdoor chairs, so we used that. It's not what I'd call cozy due to the lack of comfortable seating, and it's just not a good place to hang out, but if you are going to be out and about mostly, for the price it's fine. There were also a fair amount of bugs. Considering it's in the woods in Florida, that's not too shocking, and I don't even mind most of them other than the German cockroaches, of which we saw two, but it's worth mentioning. The septic tank was also being worked on and was open, though the host warned us of that and we didn't spend time outside there so we just easily avoided it.

Lovely place near Ginnie Springs

Decided to stay here overnight so we could go to Ginnie Springs for the day. Lovely little place to stay and the beds were so comfy.

Outside trash can was full of trash to the point the lid would not shut on arrival. Hair was left in the shower drain in master bedroom . Towels and the linens in guest room smelt like they were left in the washer for a week then thrown in the dryer. Asian cockroaches were all throughout the house, even dead ones in the cabinetry.

Perfect getaway

we loved our stay here. Perfect location and convenient to the wedding venue. Clean and tastefully decorated. Host were very attentive and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something nearby.

Perfect

Beautiful clean home with great fenced in yard. Close to great restaurants and beautiful downtown High Springs. Very quiet area. I highly recommend this. It's also close to the springs.
