If you’re looking for a place to stay, you’ll enjoy staying at, this is the place you’ll feel right at home. There are farm animals close by to enjoy too. It’s very private and relaxing.

Great location only a 1 hour journey into Yosemite park. All the facilities at the cabin were in excellent condition and clean.

Awesome home, with everything you could ask for in a rental. About a 25 minute drive to the park. Stayed 4 nights.Would recommend.....

We planned a quick trip (3days total) to go up to Yosemite and stayed at New Cedar Log house in Mariposa. The kitchen, dining and living area are open concept and very comfortable and spacious. Very relaxing mini vacation and Bob Todd, the host/owner responds very quickly to any questions. Would have loved to have had more time to enjoy the outside area, it’s really nice!!I would definitely recommend staying at NCLH if you are in the area-it’s really nice!

Wonderful property in a quiet setting just outside Mariposa. The home had everything we could have wanted and more with outside yard games including horse shoes and cornhole. Very comfortable and roomy accommodations that really feel like a home. We also enjoyed being next to the property next door that had donkeys, sheep, goats, a cow and even heard some turkeys gobbling. Great varieties of birds were seen including acorn woodpeckers and stellar and scrub jays. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area that isn’t too par from Yosemite. We also liked Mariposa and the history museum as well as the climber’s museum. Owners thought of everything guests might need and surpassed all expectations! My wife and I were very impressed!

This was an amazing place to stay and launch our hikes in Yosemite. Bob was the best host ever! So responsive and very funny!! The cabin is very comfortable and relaxing. Would definitely stay here whenever we come to Yosemite or anywhere in this area.

Excellent property off the main road. House has been kept up to date and in excellent condition. Kitchen surprisingly stocked with many items you wouldn't expect. Woke up every morning to the sound of nature. Would gladly stay here again for a peaceful vacation.

Bob’s New Cedar Log House at Yosemite Gateway is luxury in the middle of nature. Almost everything you could possibly need as a traveler is already there. There are two markets not too far away. The town of Mariposa has several places of interest for a history buff. The town itself is a trip back in time and quite charming. The feeling is relaxed and everyone I met was friendly. Bob, the owner, is available in case you need him.

Very nice cabin to bring my family to. My daughter and my 2 grand children stayed over night and my wife and I stayed 8 days. Had a beautiful time in mariposa, Oakhurst, and Yosemite. The cabin was the best we could ask for. Thanks bob

The property was in a quaint location, very homey and comfortable would definitely recommend. It’s like a home away from home. The property manager has done a terrific job in thinking of everything.
