Lake Front deep water home with private dock. The property is a secluded house "Away from it all." Well maintained, bright, cheery, home with vaulted ceiling, large lot on Great Creek. House is completely furnished for your stay.

2 Adult and 2 Kid kayaks are provided for guest use.
Located only 4 miles from I-85 Exit 4. Beautiful wide creek is great for water skiing, jet skiing, fishing and just cruising in your boat (rental boats located nearby) and access to main lake just minutes away. House has deck with umbrella table, chairs and charcoal grill.

VDH Advisory for Lake Gaston

Our trip was sunk by the recent chemical spill in Lake Gaston tributaries and resulting advisory that essentially shut down the lake which can be found on lgancva.com. We found out about the advisory from a neighbor that stated all the home owners had received a notification via email. Being from out of town, we had not seen the advisory as it was only reported in the local news. The property owner never directly answered our request for a refund and instead stated his opinion that currents could keep the pollutants out of that particular cove and also cited his house keeper’s opinion that everything was fine. In consideration for my family’s health I chose to side with the state scientists and leave early because without the lake there’s not a lot for a family vacation in that area. So, if you have upcoming trips to this area you might want to consider canceling until the water situation is resolved. Besides all of that, the house was ok for the one night we stayed there.

Nice!

Nice location. Nice view. Nice access to main lake and gas for our jet-skis. Not far from a launch. Enjoyed the restaurant not far from the place and reachable by boat, that was a bonus.

Great Place to Stay!

This place was perfect for our family and we will definitely be back! We spent so much time on the dock and the ability to dock our pontoon was so convenient! The host was great to communicate with! Some things could afford to be updated but it looks like the host is updating slowly and it certainly didn't interrupt our stay! Very happy with our stay!

great spot to relax

Great location off the main lake. As others noted, the bridge is tight to maneuver through; maybe 6” of clearance on either side of a bass boat. Walk to the lake is longer than some other homes but kept secluded from neighbors. Nice having a fridge at the dock. Kids loved the kayaks. Easy communication with Chris via text.

Sweet Lake House

We enjoyed the quiet and solitude of our stay here. Property and lake are quite remote, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet, though probably not so quiet during the summer season. The dock is a short walk down a slope, and the yard is quite private. House needs some repairs, but beds were clean and comfortable, and the work the owner has done is quite nice. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We loved the tranquility, spending much of our time relaxing on the dock, and doing some fishing.

Thanksgiving at Lake Gaston

Really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable, and owner Chris was easy to communicate with. Watched the sunrise over the lake from the boathouse. Highly recommend!

Everything we wanted or needed!

Chris was an excellent host, super easy to work with, helpful, and addressed any questions we had right away. The house was perfect for our vacation and had everything we needed. Best part was spending days and nights just hanging at the dock, swimming, or fishing with the kids. We loved the ability to dock our boat overnight and also loved taking the kayaks out on the lake! Beautiful propery and one of our best family vacations!

NIce time.....

A lovely and relaxing retreat. The beds were comfy and we really enjoyed our time there between visiting family and friends. Fishing, lounging, watching the boats and wildlife. There was a snafoo with the cleaning....so we stayed up and had to do it ourselves the first night. The owner was great and gave me a refund for cleaning. He was responsive to any and all questions. It was really delightful

Lake time fun

The house was perfect for a nice peaceful get away. We loved the dock and enjoyed the lake all day. Our dogs enjoyed the large yard.

We had a very peaceful stay at this lake house, which is very clean and easy to use. The easy access from I-85 was helpful. The owner of this property is truly focused on ensuring the guest experience is positive and enjoyable, trying to update older equipment, and making up for any inconvenience that may present.

Peaceful stay.

Very clean inside. Dock is perfect. Deck is nice. Some maintenance needs. Missing cover on thermostat and kitchen sink faucet is leaking around top when in use. Other than that, I plan on staying there again.
