Quiet 4 bedroom close to the beach

Spacious yard with enough room for pets and kids to play around with a large porch with views of nature and a pond. Close to at least four beaches, fifteen minute drive to the closest beach. Sleeps (6) guests comfortably.
Quiet area 5 minutes from the Angel Oak tree, 10 miles from Kiawah Island featuring beaches and some of the best golf in SC including the famous PGA course at Kiawah Golf course. Folly Beach 12 miles away and downtown Charleston 10 miles away. Older home, but renovated in many areas..

Perfect for us!

Very clean, comfortable and well appointed house. Location was perfect for us (visiting family that live on Johns Island). Main Road pretty congested around high school start times but we could work around that. Host responded quickly to an issue with the dryer not working. We enjoyed our visit!

Amazing House!

We loved this house, it made our weekend much easier and gave us a perfect place to rest. The beds were comfortable, and the shared living space was perfect to curl up and hang out in. The toilet in the hallway bathroom would leak from the lid occasionally when flushed, and get on the bathroom floor. It also could not be flushed twice within 5 minutes; it took a very long time for it to fill back up, which was not ideal with the number of rooms sharing that bathroom. There also were a lot of bugs that would get in through the windows, which is not really within the owners control, i just wish we had a way to get rid of them. Overall, amazing home would definitely return!

My Daughter Wedding

My family and I were very pleased, my daughter’s wedding was at The Island House, so the location was great. The home was very clean and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The property was well maintained and plenty of parking for everyone. All appliances were in great working order, all the beds were very comfortable. All supplies, if we needed to clean, were there for our use. Communication with property owner was prompt. I would highly recommend this property for any events you may have in the area. Thinking about reserving it again for the New Year. Thank you so much for everything!

Wedding stay

House was clean. Had to asked to have yard mowed because of my small dog. Outside property was so so. Deck full of tree debris I cleaned, yard full of glass everywhere, old beer can at burn pit from previous renters. But trees were beautiful. Dryer didn’t work and my wedding outfit had to hang dry outside. Wish they had screen doors to let air flow through house.

Nice, well-appointed property with lots of room and a nice yard. Wish we could've stayed longer. Bring your french press or favorite K-cups with you. No traditional coffee pot.

Amazing stay

I would love to sray again, if we are in the area again. Everything was super tidy, and organized. Fantastic neighborhood, and close to everything. Loved it!

Family Wedding

Inside was clean and it meet our needs for number of beds and provided a place to sleep as we weren’t there very much due to wedding. One of twin beds had something broken because kept pushing guest to edge. One of queen beds had sunken middle. Outside and surrounding area was junkie.

Family trip to Charlestown

We took our children and grandchildren to Charleston for my nieces graduation and found this gem of a home to accommodate our crew! Easy checkin, spotless clean, kitchen and appliances very well stocked! Beds are very comfortable, nice back porch and quiet. Would definitely rent again!

Charleston Wedding on John's Island

Perfect spot for our small family of 6 adults. The house was clean, conveniently located and our host, Guillermo, always responded promptly to my questions. We would gladly rent from him again.
