Welcome to Summer Tide, a completely renovated 1940s cottage ideally situated in the serene and residential south end of the island. This charming abode offers the perfect combination of tranquility and convenience, with short walks leading you to the beach, fishing pier, Back River, pavilion, and a delightful array of shops and restaurants.

Step inside this open, comfortable, and spacious retreat, encompassing approximately 2,400 square feet all on one level. The house is beautifully adorned with gleaming hardwood floors and elegant beadboard walls, exuding a timeless coastal charm.

The heart of the home lies in the main living area, graced with a vaulted ceiling, two inviting sofas, and ample seating for relaxation and shared moments. This welcoming space seamlessly flows into the fully furnished kitchen and dining area, accommodating up to 10 guests for delightful meals and engaging conversations.

Summer Tide offers four well-appointed bedrooms to cater to your comfort and preferences, all situated on one level. The primary bedroom features a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and plenty of storage. The second and third bedroom offer plush queen beds, while the fourth is equipped with two twin beds. Additionally, a fully enclosed sunroom/sleeping porch awaits, featuring two additional twin beds with trundles, providing a cozy haven for restful nights. With three full baths, convenience and privacy are ensured for all guests.

Step outside to discover the delightful outdoor space, where you can enjoy the covered front porch, perfect for savoring the island breeze. The back deck invites you to relax and unwind, while the fenced yard offers a safe and spacious area for outdoor activities.

We had a wonderful trip at this property. There were five artists staying in the house together and it was great to be able to cook together and share time staying in the same house. The property was beautiful and exceptionally clean with a well stocked kitchen. We loved it.

Beautiful, clean and spacious property. My family and I really enjoyed our time here. It is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was such a great place to stay for a birthday celebration with my family and friends. It accommodated us well and had more than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. The living room and kitchen area were our favorite places of the entire home due to the large space to enjoy hangouts and eat all together. The location of the home was literally perfect because we did not have to drive/ walk far to the beach, restaurants, and the pier. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice weekend getaway with family or friends or both!! 10/10 experience!

Cozy and very nice

This house has been our most favorite stay on tybee island. Very roomy and spacious very quiet neighborhood.. we definitely would like to stay here again.

A week at Tybee Island

When you look at the house it looks small, however it is deceiving. Plenty of room for a large family. It is well stocked in the kitchen. Walking distance to the downtown area and beaches. Would stay again.

First time @ Tybee

We (family of 10) had a wonderful time for our first visit to Tybee Island, even with the surprise home inspection our 1st day and a power outage the next due to a storm that rolled through. The home is absolutely adorable & spacious. Everything we wanted to enjoy within walking distance....hate we didn't book for longer, love to book again in the future. Perfect house for family

Grandparents, adults, and children were able to "spread out" in this house. Beautiful vaulted ceilings in the open living room, dining, and kitchen made the house seem very spacious and inviting. The house was immaculately clean, has high-end appliances, and had adequate amenities provided. The kitchen was convenient to use and has super nice dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. The location is convenient to get to either side of the island and has a friendly neighborhood feel to it. Our family says they would not mind staying there again next year!

Family Vacation

We had a nice time in Tybee island. The house was very spacious and beautifully furnished. Our only complaint was the internet service. At times the internet went out. We were able to reset the router, but this happened frequently. The walk to the beach was not long, approx 6 minutes, although you do have to cross a major road to get to the beach access. Thankfully, the house had a beach wagon, which was very helpful. The check in and check out process was very smooth and the communication was good.

House is larger that it looks

This house is bigger than it looks. There were six adults and we had lots of room for us and everything we needed to stay three nights. There are four bedrooms and a sleeping porch. There are three full baths, two are jack and Jill baths one between each two bedrooms on the main hallway. There is also a full bathroom near the foyer and main hallway. We did have a stopped up toilet but called the property manager and they brought out a plunger right away (maybe keep a plunger at the house). The pocket door to the sleeping porch was broken and needs to be repaired. The Kitchen was very large and had most everything we needed. Kitchen items were good quality - not cheap. The Fridge did need a new filter so the ice maker did not work for us. The living room area was very large we hade plenty of seating for all of us. There is a large dining table that worked well for meals and for playing games. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, We would definitely stay at this house again.

60th bday party vacation with friends

The property itself is much nicer that the photos portrayed. Photos don't do it justice. Check in was very easy. The proximity to everything was awesome. We were able to walk to Restaraunts, beach, pier, bars. It was amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked. We prepared breakfast every morning for 7 people and had everything we needed. The only negative thing I have to mention is the cleanliness of the property. The lamps had packed dust on them like they had never been dusted. The walls around doors and doors/switch plates were dirty. Toilet in the master bath had what looked to be urine on the floor on the side of the toilet. The master shower glass doors were off the tracks which my husband fixed. The spare bedroom with twin beds had crumbs of some sort on the floor by the bed. The other concern was the paperwork you get says strip beds and put everything in the shower, however there are little notes in each bathroom that says please DO NOT STRIP BEDS. That made everyone feel a little uncomfortable, thinking the bedding hadn't been changed in-between guests. I would think about a new cleaning company. That being said, we had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again, in hopes it was a little cleaner.

HI Tracy, I'm so sorry the cleaning was not up to our normal standards. This has been addressed with the housekeeper & the manager. As far as the linens. I have looked everywhere and cannot find where those instructions are. We normally ask that the beds are left unmade and we take care of the rest. We do ask that any used or wet towels or washcloths be placed in the tub. We have addressed this with our team also. We hope you come again and give us a second chance to make your stay at Summer Tides the 5 star stay we always want for our guest! Thank you for your honest feed back. Denise and the TC Team

STAY HERE!!!!

You will not regret booking this property! The home is so much bigger than pictures can describe. The pops of color throughout the home gave such a personal touch. The open layout of the kitchen, dining room, and living room gave our group space with still the sense of togetherness! There was a boil water advisory and the property manager had texted me prior to arriving so we could plan accordingly. The neighborhood felt safe and it was a short walk to the beach, dining, Ben and Jerry's, and apparel shops! Grocery store a short 1 mile drive. So convenient!

Perfect Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous beach cottage! The house was a great size and in a perfect location. We were able to walk with beautiful scenery to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We had 9 people in the home and there was more than enough space for everyone. The interior design and decor were pretty and put us in a happy mood. We were all very pleased with the home. Best Beach Getaway!!

This house was PERFECT! We came to Tybee Island for my sisters Bachelorette party and this property was literally perfect for us! There was plenty of beds/rooms/ bathrooms for all 10 of us girls along with a huge kitchen/living/dining area. The location was so convenient to everything from beach to restaurants to night life. We could walk or ride our bikes anywhere we wanted to go. The beach cart and chairs were a great extra too! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed. We loved it and would highly recommend!
