We had a wonderful vacation with family!The house had plenty of room for all of us comfortably. Fishing and kayaks in the late afternoon and hanging out at the beach during the day.We also happened to have perfect weather with a breeze!!

We hosted friends from AZ at the house, they had EVERYTHING you could imagine!!! House was clean and had stuff for cooking, all the amenities you could think of…just all around a great home and a perf spot!!!

Never got pool key to work. Then it was closed Tuesday, Wednesday and when we left this morning. The bunk beds need to be tightened. They squeeze and wobbly anytime someone moves while on them. But overall we had a great time. My grandkids want to know when they can go back. And we only got home about 3 hours ago.

Family Vacay

Our time was amazing. Our family enjoyed the stay very much. We had an amazing time hanging out on the patio. The use of the kayak and galf cart was great. Playing jenga was fun. Catching fish was our main attraction.

Perfect for the kids!

From the bunk room to the rope swing, the kayaks, crab traps, pool, & golf carts, this hone had everything we needed to keep our kids happy & engaged! It was a perfect family getaway before sending our oldest off to college!

Wonderful weekend getaway

Kids loved the swing over the water - my son fished in the canal for hours. I enjoyed the hot tub and the beach was a quick 3 min golf cart ride away. We had a great time and were able to bring the dog too which was great. Kids loved the double bunk bed rooms. Great family weekend getaway.

Great stay!

This property was great! It had everything you needed and more. It was very well equipped on the inside and on the outside (for outdoor activities) ! The owner was always in communication with me and responded to all of my questions! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Galveston Canal House

We had a great time with our group of 5! The house can easily accommodate more if people want to share rooms. The property is beautiful and in a great location. It is decorated and equipped nicely. The only issue is there were no dish towels and limited kitchen supplies (but also one of the best spice cabinets we’ve ever seen). Also, we paid the extra amount for the hot tub and it wasn’t ready (not heated) when we arrived.

Family weekend in Galveston

Largest house we have ever rented for our family of 6 but our SIL really wanted the fishing lights. We had plenty of room to spread out. We rented the hot tub, but probably wouldn’t again. The included golf cart was great to get to the beach but really a long haul to get over to the Marina at sea Isle or anything because you can’t have a golf cart on the highway- so bit remote . We had 2 times where we got a little bit away from the house and suddenly the golf cart went into power saver mode and we feared not getting back to the house but we did. So charge the cart fully each time before leaving. we left one time w the charge at 98% and it suddenly went down. Take wine glasses and openers as the house only had 2 wine glasses and no opener. Most everything else was supplied but no clothes detergent for the washer and dryer. Would absolutely stay again.

House was clean & spacious. Great location on the canal. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. The neighborhood pool was nice to hop over to after a long day at the beach. Loved having the golf cart available. Owner was responsive & helpful.
