The Lafayette House has all the modern conveniences with comfortable space to spread out. This home boasts stunning historic wood dating back to the late 1700's--one of the oldest homes in Greenbrier county--has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and is located one short block to Washington Street and all the best that downtown Lewisburg--America's Best Small Town Food Scene-- has to offer. Your cozy getaway is just a click away!

This listing does not allow pets, but can provide list of local boarders.

We have a strict No Smoking/Vaping/E-Cigarette Policy on our property.
Any evidence of smoking will incur an additional cleaning fee.

While we welcome all guests including familes, our home isn't well suited for young children.

This home was so wonderful. Everything was so comfortable, down to the cotton bedding and furniture. Spacious and clean. Very relaxing. Amazing host!

The property is beautiful and exceptionally well appointed. Beds were very comfortable and the location couldn’t have been better. Can’t say enough about how great it was. And the host thought of everything-coffee, soaps, etc. Somehow we missed in the description that one must walk through one of the 2 upstairs bedrooms to get to the upstairs full bath. Still, we’d stay again and highly recommend it!

The host is fantastic! Very responsive and helpful. The house is very clean and well kept. The location couldn’t be more convenient to downtown Lewisburg. Somehow, even with its convenient location, the house is quiet. The beds are supportive and comfortable with fantastic comfortable bedding. The AC works very well. I will be renting this home again.

The house is extremely well equipped with everything guests need for a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space for a group to hang out.

This was our second time staying at this property and we absolutely loved it! It was so lovely and cozy so clean and inviting this is why we chose to stay there the second time for my son‘s graduation at WVSOM. It’s in walking distance to town so it’s easy to get around. You have everything you need at the house an extra touches that are so sweet. The living room is so comfortable. The beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are wonderful. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you need. Don’t hesitate to book this property. You won’t be disappointed!

Historical Getaway

If you are wanting to experience historic Lewisburg, WV in a beautifully restored home then the Lafayette House should be on your list. The owners hospitality made our stay extremely enjoyable.

Perfect place for an Appalachian Angle on Life

Cute house, great area, when you wake up the first morning you’ll feel like you just woke up in your own home and hometown. Makes you want to return to WV!

This was a phenomenal stay. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was probably the best VRBO listing we’ve ever stayed. This is a well equipped and updated historic house. Everything was thought out perfectly. We loved the fact that we were staying in a home with so much history, yet didn’t feel like a run down or lacking home. The location is 2 blocks from downtown which is situated very close to a great coffee shop in town.

Perfect, charming historic home

This is a 10 out of 5 star VRBO. It is charming and comfortable, beautifully restored, perfectly located, and smelled of fresh banana bread on entry. Truly lovely home and delightful host. A definite repeat.

Small Town Historical Gem

Property was extraordinary: classical, country, historical, clean, cozy….nothing short of exceptional. Town is charming with some excellent restaurants and all walking distance. Friendly townsfolk too. Host was on top of all details and made our stay worry- free. Would do it all again!
