Charming, 1959 vintage cottage near the bay. Not shiny and new... "rustic" outside, but cozy and chic inside.

Two bedrooms, one bath, stocked kitchen with: microwave, air fryer, blender, inside kitchen grill, espresso machine, coffee maker, stand alone ice maker, and plenty of cooking utensils to make your own delicious dinners with local fresh seafood from markets just right down the road. Or catch your own to cook! Less than a mile from public boat ramp.

Sits on two lots across from the bay.
Large flat screen TV, WiFi, Internet, Cable, and Roku TV.
Beautiful spacious screened porch to enjoy those breezy Florida nights.
Large corner lot with bike trails nearby. Great restaurants, too!

Slice of Paradise

It was absolutely beautiful. Didn't want to leave. So relaxing and homey. . The weather was chilly but we made the best of it . Our host was wonderful, we met her and went to her shop. What fun.

Cozy coastal cottage with amazing southern hospitality!

Connie is the most gracious hostess I have encountered in our vacation rental experiences! When Tallahassee accommodations failed us for FSU Family Weekend, I broadened our search to include Panacea and I am so glad I did! Connie's communication before, during and after our stay was excellent and she truly thought of every detail when furnishing and stocking her cottage for her guests. We didn't cook during our quick weekend stay, but the kitchen was very well equipped for anything we would have wanted to whip up to eat or drink, including espresso or a blended cocktail. Lovely coastal cottage with impeccable shabby-chic decor and the charming quirks of a vintage home. Our son loved the TV room and ended up sleeping on the comfy couch. The screened porch was great for our morning coffee - loved the furnishings and fans! And best of all - FSU won their first game of the season during our stay. Go Noles! Thank you, Connie, for your gracious hospitality!

Lovely Cottage

Connie has left no stone unturned when it comes to stocking her cottage with everything you need. She graciously left us snacks which was greatly appreciated since we arrived late and we're tired so a snack and bed was perfect. Love love the tv room. Every room is decorated so charming. Lovely Coastal Cottage

This is lovely rural coastal place that we truly enjoyed and plan to return. Connie covered all the bases by leaving a binder with notes about the area among other things She was available to us if we needed her but all was well. Our dog Cocoa enjoyed it too. Thanks again Connie!

If you want to go off the grid without going off the grid then consider a stay at Connie's Cottage. This was such a unique and original experience. The house is light and airy. Connie did an excellent job of preserving the integrity of the vintage space without compromising any of the modern comforts. Imagine your southern grandma marries a younger, hipper spouse and you've got "The Hemingway". Speaking of "The Hemingway", this is a book lovers paradise. There are books everywhere. Like for real books, with spines and paper pages, all genres of varying lengths placed throughout the cottage. Connie is the absolute best host. She called me a few days before our check-in for what I thought was a cursory conversation about our upcoming visit. What I learned was that Connie was calling to tailor a few cottage touches that would be uniquely ours. The thing that takes Connie's Cottage from good to great is the screened-in porch. It's big and spacious and where I spent most of my time reading and relaxing. I honestly hated to leave. Our stay was such a refreshing surprise and it's nice knowing that such a place exist.

We had to spend a few days in the Tallahassee area and wanted a place to relax and experience "old Florida". This was the perfect place! Connie was so helpful and considerate and the cottage was just what we wanted. Super easy drive in to the city, this is a very special place!

Southern Hospitality at its Finest

Connie’s Cottage was nothing short of southern perfection! We have stayed at dozens of VRBO’s and this cottage was by far the cleanest, most nicely appointed with the most fabulous host! The cottage boasts lots of originals- floors, windows, cabinets to name a few but was also super cool at night, with high end extras like a super quality plates, stemware, cappuccino maker and icemaker! The nicest spotless bedrooms and bath with luxury grade bed and bath linens! This sweet cottage had the best front sleeping porch I have ever relaxed on with three fans that move the hot Florida air. Connie was super sweet and super accessible and provided every extra we could not of thought of ourselves. We came as a family of four (with a teen friend) but I will absolutely be back for ladies weekends. By far our favorite VRBO!

Magical exists.....

This property is all & MORE that is advertised. It is a magical cottage for complete relaxation. Connie has created a feeling with decor that you cannot find just anywhere. Then she goes above & beyond to surprise with special touches only she could do. We WILL go back many times. I really would recommend this one as adults only based on the phoof. ♥

You will be in for a treat!!

Connie exceeded any expectations I had! The details and thoughtfulness she puts in for her guests is top notch. My husband and I went to the cottage on our honeymoon and she had us personalized gifts, flowers, wine and snacks. She even went to the extent of getting information on the things we wanted to do during our stay for us. The cottage is CLEAN!! Very homey. We will absolutely be back in the future to stay and I cant wait! 🙂

Wonderful cottage, Excellent host

This cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway! Connie took hospitality to the next level with so many personal touches! The cottage was clean and in a great area. It was quiet and had a great porch. The house was stocked with all your basic needs. The beds were comfortable. We did utilize the pull out sofa and it was not very comfortable for an adult, but it worked for the short time we were there. Connie shared a well thought out guide for the area and her restaurant recommendations did not disappoint. Thank you, Connie! We hope to return soon!
