House is in a great location. Restaurants at the end of the street are great and walkable! Lots of great places close. The house is clean and has everything you need. Bedrooms all good sizes. Just be aware it is close to the train. We were there for four nights, less trains on the weekend. Use the provided earplugs, fans and noise machines. We had a great stay!

The house was much more than we anticipated. It was laid out very nice and perfect for our girls trip. The interior was well kept, clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the towels/linens were very nice. The kitchen was also well stocked. We especially liked that it was within walking distance (1/2 a block) of two restaurants and a bakery and an easy drive to several sights. We also enjoyed the daily koi feedings in the backyard pond where we could relax and listen to the water feature.

The house was very clean and host was very responsive. Loved the number of beds and baths. There was an issue with the ac while we were there, but host calling HVAC so I’m sure it will be fixed. The train and koi pond were unexpected but manageable.

The house was beautiful and the owners very responsive. The bedrooms were all very large, and the house is very centrally located, with a cute little area at the end of the street with a pizza shop, restaurant, and wine bar. There is a little bit of blight in the neighborhood, but for the most part it was very cute.

This home was perfect for our annual trip to Keeneland. Jen did a wonderful job with the remodel and decorations. Our 6 guests were comfortable. Generally, we stay more out in horse country, but the city location was a great choice. There is a local bar at the end of the street, which we frequented when we arrived on Friday night and then again for breakfast Saturday morning. We followed Jen's local bagel place for breakfast on Sunday and 'discovered' a local farmers market as well. We met the friendly folks and came away with local wine, apples and buffalo meat. The local pizza joint at the end of the road was good, but a little exotic on the pizza. They were able to make decent 'normal' pizza for those of us less adventurous. We took a family vote and after 35 years of Inns, B&Bs and VRBO, Jen was elected as our favorite host. She was spot on with recommendations for dining. Her responses were enjoyable, not just the run of the mill blah, blah, blah. Even with a newborn, she responded back to us quickly. We generally don't 'repeat' stays in Lex for our annual trip, but this one might be the exception.Thanks for everything, Jen and keep up the good work.

This was the perfect Spot for our stay in Lexington! The house was just as pictured, well maintained and clean. It was very comfortable for the 8 of us with plenty of space and bathrooms. The decor and little details added a special touch! We will definitely be back!

Perfect rental

House was spacious, clean and exactly as pictured. Easy to find, nearby UK campus and tailgating. Jen was very responsive and we will definitely stay again. Comfortable beds.

Great stay in Lexingtom

The house is clean, comfortable, and nicely stocked with paper products, soap, towels, etc. The location is very convenient to UK. We really enjoyed the restaurants at the end of the street. We appreciated the sound machines in the bedrooms, and the trains didn’t bother us much.Would definitely stay again.

Great Girls Weekend Away

This was a great house for our girl's weekend away. The house was clean, had everything we needed and so much space for us to enjoy and relax. The number of rooms and bathrooms made it easy for us to enjoy. The location was ideal as it was close to everything we wanted to do.

It was the perfect location for the four of us to enjoy the horse farms, whiskey tastings and downtown Lexington. Comfortable and clean. The only drawback the trains throughout the middle of the night, but we adjusted.

Perfect for several couples!

Great location and very clean. We had 3 couples and each had our own bathroom. The layout was perfect for socializing and the kitchen was stocked with all we needed. We will be back next year!

The stay was to accommodate us for the Derby

prompt and easy communication with the owner. The house was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was ok, however the train did make for interrupted slumber.

Lovely stay

The Spot is exactly as described in the listing. It’s a comfortable, spacious, well stocked home. There is a lot of attention put into the little details. The house is located in a nice neighborhood with two great restaurants at the end of the block. The master bathroom is particularly wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hi Lisa, Thanks for staying! We do state in our description that there are train tracks behind the house that run through the day and sometimes a few at night. White noise machines are provided. We're glad you enjoyed the house!

We booked the property for the days preceding my daughter’s wedding in Cynthiana. We have other family who live in Lexington and this house was close to them. We weren’t bothered by the trains. The house was well appointed. Upstairs was a little warm, but the fans kept us comfortable while we were up there. Some of the houses on that street were run down, but we felt safe. Communication with the host was seamless and they responded quickly. We’d stay again in the future if we needed a place in Lexington.
