The house was clean, check-in was a breeze, and we absolutely loved access to the quiet and rocky beach. The location is also perfect and is close to everything. We definitely plan to stay again!

Wonderful hosts! Great communication and Siobhan even gave us great information to see beautiful fall colors. Alex was very helpful - and made sure we knew about the RedZone (a great feature during football season). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need. The washer and dryer were really good and QUIET! The sunrise over the beach was beautiful!! and seeing the sailboats and boats from Camden was incredible.The stairs to the upstairs are steep and a little awkward with a heavy suitcase but very manageable.

We had a wonderful stay. Alex and Siobhan couldn’t have been better hosts! They communicate quickly and make sure everything is in place for a great time. We will go back at our first opportunity!

Beautiful property . It was so nice to meet Alex- what a gracious host. The only problem was that the bedroom downstairs did not have a door separating it from the living room and you had to go through that bedroom to access the bedrooms upstairs. It would have been for appropriate maybe as a study. The house was very clean and the beds were great. Seeing the water everyday was wonderful.

What a gorgeous property! Such care was taken to make the unit feel private. The pathway to the beach was so close and easy. We enjoyed many hours on the beach swimming and finding sea glass

We really enjoyed this property. The owners are wonderful and did a phenomenal job in their communications and confirming that we had all we needed. They had great recommendations on restaurants and more, in the area. The house is very clean and very well stocked with anything we needed. They have a basket with some sweets, coffee pods, etc. for their guests to enjoy which, is a really nice touch. They are top notch owners without a doubt. The views from the house and private beach are so amazing and tranquil. Trust me when I say, “You should rent this property!Thank you Siobhan & Alex for your excellence in hosting with VRBO.

Excellent property with easy access to the beach and wonderful view of the cove. This property has a bit of vintage charm with antiques and art. Comfortable beds!! All was great. Wonderful hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay in Glen Cove. The house was clean and comfortable and we loved having access to the beach. Our kids really hunting for crabs at low tide. Such a lovely spot!

Alex and Siobhan provide a lovely home with beautiful views from the deck and access to the cove which is an awesome place for the kids to explore and find sea creatures/sea glass. Close to Rockland and Camden which are great day trip activities

Nice location with view of the water and cove, but terrible traffic noise from Route 1 that completely took away from the otherwise peaceful vibe. House badly needs more amenities, such as shampoo and soap in the bathrooms, and non stick pans for cooking. Strange arrangement of having to pass through one of the main bedrooms to get to the other bedrooms.

Thank you for your review. On our listing essentials states that soap and shampoo are not supplied and this should have been a surprise to you. On our listing description we make people aware that the downstairs bedroom is not suitable for couples. Where ever you are on the coast of Maine during the tourist season there is always daytime traffic and it slows down in the evening and nighttime. For light sleepers we supply white noise machines in all the bedrooms and they work great.

The location of this house and its access to Glen Cove is wonderful. We really enjoyed our morning walks along the beach. The house was very clean and we found the kitchen to be adequately equipped as we expected. There is an ocean view from the kitchen and the living room. The host greeted us in the driveway which made check-in easy--nice, because we arrived after dark. As others have mentioned, to access the upstairs bedrooms you must walk through the downstairs bedroom. The second bathroom is also downstairs. It's important that future guests know that the staircase to the second floor bedrooms is steep with roughly 18 narrow steps. We navigated it without incident, but seniors with mobility issues may find it a challenge. The window air conditioners upstairs did an adequate job cooling the rooms, though it's probably time to update the mattresses. There are exterior windows in the bedrooms but note that they are blocked by the window air conditioners. The house is well-located for all the things there are to see and do in the region. Be sure to try the lobster rolls at Claws!

We enjoyed the property. The view is terrific! The hosts were easily reached, if necessary. The property is only a few minutes away from Camden or Rockland.

Our first trip to Maine. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, a nice house and a private beach! Very central location, lots of lighthouses, restaurants and things to do
The back years at 🌆.
We did a fair amount of tide pooling at low tide. Lots of critters to be found!

Perfect spot for a summer getaway

Had a lovely stay here with friends and this house was perfect. The view was unbeatable and beach access was easy. Our hosts were lovely and we had everything we needed. I would happily stay here again.
