This original Folly home circa 1927 has breath -taking front beach views with a porch designed to spend all your time relaxing. My little Cottage is perfect for a relaxed, laid-back stay with a total coastal feel. You can enjoy surfing, biking, swimming, great dining and beautiful walks on the beach. After a day on the beach you can step into the private outdoor shower. You won’t have to go far to hear the ocean at night. This home is offered only a few months each year . I’m inviting you to come stay !

Folly Beach Weekend

This was such an incredible home, exactly as advertised and with views to die for. You can tell that this is a family home that is loved and well cared for, and we loved every minute of our stay. The host was fantastic and easy to communicate with and we would certainly rent here again, no question. Loved Folly and loved this home, we will be back!

Great Long Weekend

We had a wonderful time at Million Dollar View. The house was perfect and had everything needed for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the rainwater type shower heads were new to us and pretty cool. The kitchen had everything needed for meals, including good knives and cooking utensils. The house was very clean, and had some pretty nice touches to make it feel homey. It was a colder weekend in January, but the house stayed nice and warm. Extra throw blankets made it comfy watching tv. The view was outstanding! Watched the sunrise each morning and had a couple of long walks on the beach each day. We would definitely return of timing is right!

The cottage was absolutely wonderful with everything we needed in it! Very cozy feel, and the views are incredible! The host was very responsive too.

Beautiful location on the water. The house was comfortable and only 20 minutes walking to town. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Special property!

Property is exactly as pictured! So clean! So comfy! The deck was large and nice furniture with a view of the ocean! The owner was wonderful to communicate with! I will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Getaway

We come to South Carolina often, and this by far has been the best place to stay. The views of the ocean were fantastic and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our week stay. It is definitely a place we will come back to in the future.

Wonderful - yes million dollar view

Fabulous location on the beach. Very clean new home, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the porch and beach - need to bring your own beach chairs. Charleston is so close by, 25 minutes - an easy ride and went often. Really recommend this property!

Amazing place on the beach

We loved it. We had planned to explore but this cute beachfront location was so perfect for our family that we swam at the beach and hung out on the great patio most of the time. Bedding and pillows in the bunk room were cozy!

Best Beach Vacation

The beach house is very well maintained, equipped with anything you will need, and very clean! We've been to Folly eight times in the past five years and stayed in eight houses, and this one is by far the best! There was plenty of room, and the deck on the beach side really made the trip extra special. We can't wait to return next year!

Beautiful Beach House

Absolutely beautiful. Could not ask for a better location. The kitchen was completely stocked, towels and linens provided. Just loved it.

The property was great - expensive but everything was nice - as advertised. The town is a bit dingy. Water was ok.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth!

Four night stay at this gorgeous property just wasn't enough! My family of 4 was sad to leave and have been dreaming about those oceans views (and outdoor showers!) ever since. If you're looking for a clean, spacious yet cozy, tastefully decorated, and well-equipped cottage on a peaceful stretch of beach with endless ocean views, look no further. This is the real deal. We enjoyed many hours on the beach and in the outdoor showers (there are TWO, both glorious!), followed by afternoons and evenings exploring Charleston, Beaufort and Savannah, all within close proximity to the cottage. We truly hope to be back!

Fun at Folly

This little cottage is everything and more. Perfectly decorated which is so important to me. And super clean which is also super important. My friends and I ( 6 of us -all age 60) were all impressed. We found it cozy inside and then breathtaking sunrise and sunset views outside. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other’s company. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys staying in a clean and beautifully decorated house.

Perfection!

Truly the best stay we’ve ever experienced!! Sandra’s cottage was so charming, peaceful & cozy with every detail thought out for her guests. Communication throughout booking was open & very accommodating. We spent most of our time on the expansive deck enjoying the ocean view…oh the view is absolutely priceless!! The hardest part was leaving but we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Sandra for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

Beautiful and Cozy!!

Property was absolutely amazing. Very quiet and private which made for a very relaxing weekend. The love the owner has for her beach cottage is evident throughout. It’s very inviting and you have everything you would need plus some. Paragraphs could be written on this place and how wonderful it is. Pretty sure anything else would be a disappointment after staying here. Thank you so much to the host for sharing your beach cottage. It’s absolutely lovely and hope to be able to stay again in the future.

Thank you for viewing my little cottage. This house is special to me , it was built in 1927 one of the first houses built on Folly Beach . It’s an original to Folly with charm! My dad bought the house from his brother in 1965 .I was raised in this house and it was a time when everyone was a resident. I have wonderful memories of crabbing ,swimming, surfing and fires on the beach with my family. I was lucky enough to be able to keep this little cottage and renovated it for my children to enjoy. I’m opening it up this fall for you to enjoy too . I hope your stay is one you will never forget!
