Mission Beach is the closest thing in San Diego to classic East Coast beaches like Atlantic City and Coney Island. Expect to find all different types of free spirits, sporting all kinds of styles - from dreadlocks to designer jeans to bikinis! Everyone engages in all different kinds of sports and activities - skating, skateboarding, surfing, kayaking and cycling to name a few. And that's only one side of the Mission Beach story. It is a ONE MINUTE walk to the ocean and a TWO MINUTE walk across Mission Blvd to Mission Bay. You'll find middle-aged professionals out for a run, kids learning to sail at the Aquatic Center, and families picnicking on the grass.

This lovely beach house is located on the OCEAN side of Niantic Court steps away from Mission Beach and a walk across the street from Mission Bay. So whether you’re one of those free spirits, professionals, or families, this beach house is perfect for your vacation.

Continually upgraded and refurnished, you’ll notice this 1600 sq. ft. beach house is immaculate & very comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms and 2½ baths. Sleeps 8.

Living Room - Large, very comfortable sectional, 50’ wall-mounted TV with digital cable and DVD player, fireplace, IPOD dock for music, Xbox Kinect plus two games and ocean view from windows.

KITCHEN - Deluxe kitchen that includes everything in a kitchen you could desire. Ocean/patio view from kitchen.

PATIOS - TWO PRIVATE patios. Upper patio is covered & has new furniture and a fire-pit table. Lower patio is large & uncovered with court entrance to both the ocean and the bay. The lower patio has a BBQ & a large patio table/chairs.

MASTER BEDROOM - Fully furnished with queen sized bedroom set, wall-mounted TV w/ digital cable and a DVD player, Ipod dock, window views of the ocean, and jetted tub in the master bath.

BEDROOM 2 - Fully furnished with queen bedroom set, TV, digital cable and window views of the ocean.

BEDROOM 3 - Fully furnished with queen bedroom set, TV & a double-bed futon that sleeps 2. There are window views of Mission Bay. In the evenings you can see the fireworks from Sea World.

PARKING - There are 4 PARKING SPOTS: 3 are large & covered, and 1 is uncovered and suitable for a compact car.

There is a new washer/dryer. There are plenty of children's toys in the laundry room!

Beautiful home by the coast

The property was all that it said it was going to be. It was very clean and easy to get to. Just steps away from the ocean, we were able to enjoy the sound of the waves every day. Many great restaurants and bars nearby and so easy to get to downtown, San Diego Zoo and Balboa park. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone considering staying there.

Clean and Comfy

The house was very clean and comfortable. Had basic amenities and a fully stocked kitchen. Parking is definitely tight. You have to be careful not to block entry doors or the vehicle doors that are parked next to you. Not true tandem parking in my opinion due to entry door placements. The walk to the beach was short and sweet. Overall a perfect family beach house.

Perfect Location, Beautiful Home

We enjoyed staying here for a long weekend, perfect location for long walks, shopping and enjoying the sunshine! Donna’s daughter was so helpful and accommodating, quickly addressing a few snafu’s :) Beds were comfortable and the patio firepit & big living room seating areas allowed for fun family gatherings. Showers were fantastic. I would recommend this beautiful home!!

Perfect getaway on Mission Beach!

This fabulous house just steps away from the beach was the perfect place for our annual sisters vacation! We enjoyed waking up in the morning to the sounds of the ocean and starting our day with a walk along the beach or boardwalk. We could also walk a few blocks and catch the sunrise on the bay side and in the evening watch the sunset on the beach. Our evenings were spent on the comfortable sectional in the living room enjoying our shows on Netflix. The house had a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, and extra towels. We very much appreciated the beach towels and chairs available for us to use. The beach house is within walking distance of many great shops and restaurants and a great location to enjoy all things San Diego!

Great Family Vacation

Perfect location just a couple houses from the beach, boardwalk and the numerous attractions San Diego has to offer. House is well stocked with all the essentials, very clean and the owners were very responsive and a pleasure to rent from.

West coast seaside holiday

Amazing, relaxing beach holiday! The house is well equipped (lots of kitchen supplies, bath towels, TVs, lights, fans, etc.) and only wonderful outdoor amd indoor spaces.

Immaculate and modern

Great location and well kept home! It was very clean. Very comfy couch and beds. The condo is well stocked as well, with kitchen supplies, beach items, games, and more. I was surprised by the stairs in the home, but that is likely due to me not being as attentive when reading the listing. Also quite roomy for my group of 6, plus an infant. Donna and her family were very accommodating! Would absolutely stay again. The parking can be a bit challenging to get into, but we managed.

Fabulous property

This is the 4th year staying at this property simply because it is beautiful and has ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING from kids sand toys to kitchen items! Plus we are able to walk to everything and never have to get in the car to go anywhere!

Great house for a week

Stayed here in June 2024 with my husband and two 18yo boys (our son and his best friend). The owner was great with communication leading up to the reservation. House was nice and looked just like the listing photos. We all enjoyed our week here. Would stay here again! Only warning to watch out for is that we rented a Toyota Highlander (larger than what I'd reserved, but they "upgraded" us) and it was tight getting in and out of the covered carport.

Great family get away

Family of 6 in town for 5 nights over Memorial Day weekend and university graduation. This home was perfect for us: roomy, comfortable, clean, loving homey feel. The home is also excellently with appointed, with everything we needed for family dinners, game nights, days on the beach, movie nights, etc. Superb, walkable location. Truly hope to come again.

Beautiful house in a great location

We stayed with six adults and two babies. The location could not have been better; a short walk to the beach and boardwalk and the bay was very close as well. There’s a park within walking distance and many cute coffee shops and restaurants. The property had everything we needed for beach days; chairs, towels and many sand toys. There are stairs which was a bit challenging with babies, but they also provided gates to help out. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking items and the coffee starter pack was much appreciated! Communication with the owner was great and access was super easy. Parking was a bit tight with our van but we figured it out. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Time

Beautiful property, with just a minutes walk to the beach. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and well appointed. There is a lovely outdoor area with a fire pit. You will have everything you need to enjoy the beach. The host Donna and her family are super responsive.

Great spring family trip

This condo was a perfect location for our group and it was super-clean. Short walk to both ocean and bay and walking distance to restaurants. We walked miles along the ocean each morning. I really cannot say enough about this property. I would absolutely stay here again. I was worried that it was on the Boulevard but traffic noise was a non-issue. Both patios were a great added bonus. The parking was tricky/very tight, especially when we ended up with a full-size SUV but it fit! While in San Diego, we visited the following, all less than 25 minutes from the condo: - San Diego Zoo - Midway Museum - Old Town - Sunset Cliffs - Cabrillo National Monument - Fashion Valley Mall

Beautiful, clean beach house

This beach house is beautifully decorated,smells amazing, and is very clean. The furniture is comfortable with ocean views from two of the bedrooms. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook or grill. There is a good amount of stairs to get to different levels of the house. If you have a baby or toddler there are baby gates provided to block the stairs and also a playpen. My kids had a blast playing the board games and there is a lot of different sand toys and balls to take out to the beach. Also, there are beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels provided. The walk to the beach is easy and quick. Belmont Park is about 15 minute walk from the house. There's plenty of places eat at in the area, a grocery store down the road, and places to rent bikes. The owner of the house is very friendly and responds to messages. We would definitely stay here again, if we visit the area agin. Thank you for having us in your beautiful house.
