Steps From The Ocean - Large Roof Deck - Amazing Sunsets

This beautiful home is perfect for a large family or group of friends with two fully equipped kitchens, two living rooms and two oversized washer/dryers. Roof deck is very large and private, with dining table/chairs and lounge chairs. Downstairs has a lovely raised patio with table/chairs - enjoy the sun and spectacular ocean and sunset views from both. All bedrooms have high quality beds, flatscreen TV's and ceiling fans.

Upstairs 3 BR/2.5 BA sleeps 8; one king, two queens and a queen pullout sofa. Downstairs 2 BR/2 BA sleeps 6; one king, one queen and one queen pullout sofa. Both units have two twin fold out futons ideal for young children.

The two units do not connect to each other from the inside.

Residence is air-conditioned, all windows are dual pane. Large two car garage, plus a third space behind the garage for over-sized vehicles.

Steps from the ocean and Belmont Park, you can enjoy the ocean views and beautiful sunsets from the ground floor patio or the private upstairs roof deck.

Rental includes plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. All kept in the garage.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was in close proximity to the beach, mission and pacific beach areas. It was also a short drive from other areas if we wanted to venture out. Property was clean and the host was very responsive if questions arose. Would recommend for your stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The many bathrooms were helpful with our family of 12. We loved that there were beach toys, chairs, wagon, and some boogie boards. The beach was on swimming restriction between our two lifeguard stations. We had to go down the beach to swim.

Parking for three cars was wonderful. It worked well for our family with grown kids as a base for a San Diego wedding. 4 couples plus a two year old and we all had plenty of room and room to have a quiet space for the toddler as well as bathrooms for wedding prep. Truly steps away from the beach and walkable to many restaurants. Never needed the air conditioning, the unit had a good cross breeze. Came with lots of beach chairs and sand toys which was a plus. Both kitchens had a lot of stuff to use.

We were very happy with this 3 story house and all its features. However we were under the incorrect impression from the description and photos that it faced the ocean. It doesn’t. It’s on a side street perpendicular to the beach, facing a public footpath and tightly spaced houses on all sides. However the neighbors were quiet and friendly even though it was Spring Break. Sunsets were visible from the nearby beach but not the house. Would rent it again.

The house(s) were great for our group of a family with young kids and grandparents! 3 parking spots are tight, but fit 3 mid size SUV’s, and are WONDERFUL to have for those crowded beach days! House was clean and well stocked, we checked in right at 3, so there was still a strong cleaning solution scent, but an hour with all windows open and no one could notice it anymore. Many additional blankets available, heat and AC worked well. We visited mid March, and the surrounding area was surprisingly quiet both day and night. Sooo many beach toys and accessories in the garage are great! There are a very limited amount of shower towels, and no beach towels, so be sure to bring extras. Would definitely recommend a stay again!

Both of the guest houses were welcoming to our large family group. Upon arrival the duplex was clean and well equipped with what was needed for a great vacation. The host was very responsive when communicating which was appreciated. Thank you!

Location and gathering spaces can't be beat. Truly steps from the beach and patio and rooftop are great places groups to connect.

Overall went well. The only complaint could be the people who stayed downstairs complained of a musty smell and mold in the bathroom. It rained unusually hard during our stay and water came in through the downstairs door. But everything else was just as described and checkin/checkout was seamless. Great location.

Great stay!

This property was perfect for us! Being steps from the beach was perfect. It was nice that there were beach chairs, boogey boards & even an umbrella in the garage. Between the 2 kitchens we had everything we needed.
