The Forest Edge Cabin is a luxurious cabin nestled in the woods of Hocking Hills on 57 acres of private acreage while still remaining close to Logan restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large living space, and a magnificent kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers game room, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.

Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. 10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

The Forest Edge cabin is near Hocking Hills located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Logan or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

Cabin was exactly as listed. It was very clean and communication with the host was great. We very much enjoyed the remoteness of the cabin....it made it very relaxing. We will definitely book it again when we are planning on being in the area.

Very nice cabin and location. Wildlife to see and a trail to walk. Close to the State Parks for other hiking. Hot Tub was fully functional, but overall very nice place to stay. Would do it again.

Beautiful place!! A couple issues we had were we emailed /messaged the host and got no response. Only half the jets in the hot tub worked. The beds are awful - if you have back problems don’t stay here and if you don’t you will when you leave. One trash bag in the can. No extra to replace when you leave or to have more than one bag of trash. No closets or anywhere to hang any clothing. Other than that the stay was wonderful.

The internet was not that good and the tv kept going out when we tried to watch a movie in the evening. Loved the peace and quiet. Found some nice stores and enjoyed hiking

We absolutely loved our stay here, the staff was really easy to get in touch with as well. Only complaint I have is that the hot tub was green, I contacted the desk and they sent someone out, but they had to drain the entire hot tub and said once it was heated up we could use it- had to wait until the next day for it to heat up and then ended up with chemical burns because it was too soon even though we were advised it was okay to use as though it was one hour shock or something. But overall it was a great trip.

We enjoyed our stay at Forest Edge. It was very clean and comfortable. The hill to get to it was very steep and a little tough to navigate. It definitely is remote.

Relaxing getaway for spring break!

We loved staying at this cabin! It was so cozy and the perfect size for the four of us. We really enjoyed the hot tub and many games in the cabin.

Great stay!

Secluded and private, but close access to town and highway access to get you to trails! The cabin is so cozy and perfect size for a couple or small family. I hope to be able to stay again!

A chance to reboot

We just needed a chance to rest and relax. This was the perfect place to reboot. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed the covered deck.

Lovely stay

The ladies in the office were easy to work with. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Our young girls loved the hot tub (which worked perfectly) and it’s in a great location close to everything we wanted to see. It was our first visit to the area, and we plan to visit again.
