This suite has a private entrance from the garage. Suite is located above the garage, the main house is a one story, the private suite is upstairs by itself with no wall directly connected to the home. There is no interaction with the main house. The suite has an adjustable split Tempur-Pedic king bed that is so amazingly comfortable! The bed has white cotton sheets with laundered duvet cover. Suite also has an electric fireplace. Cozy table/desk overlooking the front garden. Perfect for dining or a workspace. Suite also has a futon for extra room and a 40" Smart TV. Please see photos and all the amenities. Why will you fall in love with this listing.... We give our guests full use of the waterfront. Home is located on the Main Channel. What does this mean? You are not in a cove, water is nice and views of the lake are amazing. Our dock sits on water that is 25+ feet deep. A perfect location to fish. We even have fishing poles available in the garage. The guest boat slip always has deep water and has an electrical outlet for charging on fishing boats. The dock is well maintained and in beautiful condition. The covered dock has comfortable wicker seating, small propane grill, mini fridge, WIFI mesh router, and a google mini that will play your favorite music. This is great to enjoy year round rain or shine. If you get up early and head to the dock the sunrise is beautiful. We have a beautiful paved road that is great for a morning or afternoon walk! Come and enjoy all the scenery! We provide two kayaks and 2 paddle boards at no charge. Unfortunately we do not allow the boat ramp at the property to be used to load and unload boats, PWCs or trailers. There are two public ramps just a few miles away. . Pinnacle Access and McCrary / Queens Landing access. You are welcome to relax in the lounge chairs on the boat ramp Just to confirm... We do have a guest limit of two people as this is for peaceful getaways, we only allow registered guests to come to the property. Due to the fact we have two Golden Retrievers we do not allow pets. We do not surcharge for anything or have any hidden fees. We also charge a very reasonable $20 cleaning fee. We are so excited to announce the new and enlarged custom shower updated March 2025

Peace and quiet

I took a little "mommy break" at this location and it was perfection. It was so quiet. You couldn't hear the host's family and the entrance is separate if you prefer privacy. The view of the lake is gorgeous. I didn't spend any time down my the lake due to weather but I can imagine it would be wonderful. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Even more comfortable than my own. I would definitely come stay again. The space is perfect for 1 or 2 people.

Wedding in Mooresville

I had to come in to town for a wedding and hotels are so expensive. I found this gem and had the time of my life. The morning views of the lake and the moon reflecting at nighht made this perfect. A cheery on top of the reason i was there to celebrate my friend's wedding. Excellent hosts and lots of charm.

Perfect Getaway

This place is perfect for a weekend getaway! Lovely dock area to have your morning coffee or an evening night cap. Plus it’s a beautiful lake if you want to borrow one of the kayaks. This is our second year in a row staying here and we will definitely be back next year.

Amazing Stay

This property is amazing! The host went over and above to give us our privacy and meet our every need. Loved the dock area and the sunrises. Used the kayaks, the fishing equipment, the propane grill, and the mini fridge. Also did laundry. The bed was super comfy and the fireplace was neat. There was a view of the lake from the suite. There was just enough space and equipment in the kitchen area to get by, but with so many restaurants in the area who wants to cook? The area was safe and the place was super clean. I would like to stay here again and never leave!

Best Experience

My wife and I have booked with AirB&B and VRBO for years. The Lake House was, by far, the best experience we have ever had. Or hosts communicated with us prior to our stay and answered questions quickly. The Lake House is in a beautiful location with easy access. Check in and check out instructions were simple and available on line and on the room. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. This was the first time we did not need to contact a host after we arrived. We will definitely stay again!

Peace Peace And More Peace

This listing is just as stated, but even better than expected! I went to receive a peaceful get away in order to recharge. My goal was accomplished! Nicole is an incredible host. She was very friendly and accommodating. The location is absolutely beautiful! The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I enjoyed kayaking on the lake for the first time. The fire pit was very relaxing with a great view of the stars. I enjoyed watching the sun rise in the morning. I highly recommend and plan to return one day!

Great property!

We arrived during Hurricane Helene, but our room was welcoming and cozy! Nicole was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Hopefully, next time we can take advantage of beautiful Lake Norman.

Fabulous!

Words simply cannot describe how much we enjoyed our visit and how amazing this property is! The suite is extremely clean and well appointed and the attention to details is superb. It has everything you need! The bed is super comfy! The location is private and the property and dock are absolutely beautiful! Our host, Nicole is awesome! She is so sweet and helpful and made sure everything was perfect. We met the fur babies who are so adorable and sweet. We are looking so forward to many more visits to this property!

Gorgeous Property

We stayed for 3 nights in August and it was fantastic. We have stayed in many, many, other places and this one was one of the best, if not the best place we have stayed. Everything was done to the highest quality including the suite and the outdoor amenities. It was hard to leave this peaceful, beautiful oasis but we will be back again soon. Nicole is the best hostess!

My husband and I love to boat, jet ski, and play golf. My husband is an excellent cook and makes fabulous meals. We have two Golden Retrievers that rule the house. My husband is a retired casino executive, and I am now retired from retail management. My husband grew up in the Washington DC area and I grew up on the west coast (California and Arizona), but I lived a lot of places as my father was in the Navy when I was young, and my mother loved to travel. I met my husband in Nevada. We raised our children in Crystal Lake, Illinois and Peters Township, Pennsylvania. We choose North Carolina to retire due to the weather, the beautiful Lake Norman and family in the area. We have many friends that we meet up with on boats all summer long.

We started renting the suite the first of October 2021. We have had so many great guests. We love giving our guests the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Lake Norman. I worked for the Wynn in Las Vegas and try my best to give the suite a five star feel. We have a top of the line bed that will leaves you well rested and very comfortable. A bose radio/cd player with some cds to relax to. We have some games and cards to entertain you. We have information on the lake, restaurants and venues in the room. We also included a binder that gives great information as well. I am so proud to say that all our guests have loved staying here at the suite. Even in the short time we have been renting we continue to add new and fun things. We decorated the suite for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We added some new lake decor, the electric fireplace, a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs, a picnic basket with all you need for a picnic at the lake, a lighted mirror in the bath and painted with a brighter color. We really want to make your stay special, and we appreciate our guests. Most guests may see my husband out walking our dogs or I may pop down once to the dock to say hello and make sure you have everything you need. Other than that, we give our guests privacy to enjoy their vacation. We take extreme pride in the cleanliness of our property. The room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every visit. We are here to make you stay a beautiful one. Please ask questions we are happy to help. We have assisted guests with kitchen items that they needed, tackle items, directions and recommendations. Just let us know if you need anything at all.

Our property is centrally located to everything. We are on the main channel with deep water and beautiful views versus a small cove. Our street is a long, beautiful road that has friendly people out walking every day. Please note the speed limit is 25. We are on a dead-end street which limits traffic to residents primarily. Our suite is spacious, clean and very private. As noted in the description our location is premium.

If you have a boat or you are wanting to rent, we have a great boat slip. If you want to boat while you are visiting, Check out Lake Effects boat rentals online. The site includes availability and pricing, they do book in the summer so get reservations in early. They are very close to the suite. Our dock is beautiful and well maintained. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. Amenities of our dock, wicker seating, Wi-Fi, google mini, BBQ, mini fridge, television and the most amazing views. If you are interested in a fishing charter Captain Price will pick you up at our dock. Website is setnhooks.com This is a great gift to give to a fisherman in the family!

We have two kayaks, two paddleboards and a canoe that are included in the rental for your unlimited use. We have life jackets from adult small to Adult 2XL. We hope to add to our collection as the summer months come. During the summer the property has beautiful flowers and birds of all kinds. During the winter there is a firepit with stunning views.

Please note that if you are coming during a holiday there may be fireworks. We live on a lake that does love to celebrate. Please ask if this is a concern for you. We do not allow any smoking of any kind in the suite but do allow it outdoors.
