Property is child-friendly with walkout beach, concrete stairs going down to the water, Large FirePit Area on Concrete Slab with Umbrellas and Lounge Chairs, Spacious Dock with covered seating area, huge floating dock, swim ladder, diving board, plenty of area to tie up boats and jet skis, gentle rolling lawn, awesome views. Bring your boat, jet ski, kayaks or canoes to enjoy the lake. Small slide going into the water which the kids love.

Th place was great… lots of space and nice dock with diving board. Great cove with little boat traffic, afternoon sun. Great spot for a long weekend.

Incredible views and lake access. Nothing like walking out your back door a few yards to the dock. Two years in a row we had an incredible time. The house even comes with a vacation cat named Baxter. Feed him some fish and he’ll be your best friend

Great place for long or short term stays! Hosts are lovely, respect privacy but also make you feel at home. Would absolutely stay again, I imagine it’s brilliant in the summer. The neighbors cat, Baxter, is also very friendly! Thanks Frank and Linda!

Great location and beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed sitting outside and having most meals there as well. Had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay that was perfect for us. Enough space to spread out inside with even more outside along with a beautiful view day and night. Communication was great. Already planning a return to Charlotte next year and this is where we plan to stay.

Lakeside Wonder

Absolutely beautiful stay at the Lake. 2 very spacious rooms, great living room and plenty kitchen space. Fantastic dock space for swimming. My family and I had an excellent stay! Highly recommend and will be back.

Lovely, peaceful, very pleasant place to stay while experiencing Lake Norman for the first time and exploring this part of North Carolina. We stayed at the property for a very enjoyable long weekend. Hosts were friendly and helpful when we arrived, and were also very thoughtful about maintaining our plrivacy.

Very Nice Lake Access

The kids enjoyed the water slide, diving board, and we did smores using the fire pit. Great lake access. The paddleboat was fun!

Really quiet, cool cat visited us every day loved that we could sit on the dock and have dinner. Really enjoyed our time.

Great people to stay under !!!

Clean nice easy check in an out use of the dock was great with the kids fire pit by the lake quite good place to relax easy access would highly recommend a will be planning on going back !!!!

A peaceful on the water VRBO

Clean, and very ample for me as an 82 year old kayak fisherman. I love it here! And the fishing was great!

Although the house was clean, right on the lake, the size we needed and the host was very responsive, there were some issues. Unfortunately, the queen beds were very uncomfortable, we had to supply our own toilet paper and paper towels once what was provided ram out and there was a lot of banging and stomping from upstairs since this is a basement unit with the owners living upstairs. The bed in the master bedroom was so soft it felt like we were sleeping on a water bed which left our backs in a lot of pain and my cousin slept on the floor most nights because the our queen bed was so uncomfortable. I did not want to give a 3 star review due to the fact that we were running late checking out and the host family completed the check out process for us but we were in so much pain we couldn't move fast enough to check out on time. With that being said, if you have back issues please be mindful of the softness of the 2 queen beds.

Born and Raised on Long Island, NY. Always had a passion for the Water. Navy Veteran. Raised my family on a Water-Front home on Long Island that I personally built. Followed my son to North Carolina where we found and built this unique property. I live with my wife in the upper portion of this beautiful log home and enjoy renting out to guests our lower level. My grandchildren who are 7 and 4 often visit on the weekends. The lower level is totally separated with its own parking, entrance and lighted drive.
