Squirrel Haven Cottage on Lake Norman

Squirrel Haven Cottage is a peaceful 1-bedroom guest house next to our home on Lake Norman. Nestled privately amidst trees with a beautiful lawn leading down to the lake. With access to a private pier and floating dock, this is a perfect place for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Cottage has a combined living room and kitchen. Door from living space opens to a lovely bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, closet, night stands, and dresser.
Ensuite bathroom includes bathtub/shower, sink and linen closet.
In addition, high speed internet, smart TV, washer/dryer combo are also all available.

In addition to the cottage, guests are invited to enjoy the lake front including swimming and fishing from private pier and floating dock. Rented boats or jet skis can be tied off at the dock as well.

Sweet little place with a gorgeous lake. Highly recommend. We needed just a little more space due to a family event and this was just perfect. Host very accommodating when we needed to add another day.

Our stay at Squirrel Haven Cottage was very relaxing. The cottage was very clean & welcoming. If you’re wanting a relaxing, quiet & comfortable get away with beautiful water views Squirrel Haven Cottage may be just what you need. Scott was very easy to work with. The property is well maintained & cared for. Scott takes great pride in his cottage.

We had a wonderful time! The house was cozy and comfortable. The dock was perfect for fishing and the lake view was beautiful. Lots of shade trees and very peaceful. Very kind host.

This was our first trip to the Lake Norman area and we were so impressed with everything. This little cottage and its location is perfect. The privacy and safety are top notch. We hope to stay again on our future trips. We had a quiet, relaxed and fun couple of days!

Cute cottage with connecting breezeway with main house. Screened in porch with 2 comfortable rocking chairs. Complete with washer and dryer. Only thing missing was a door to the bedroom.

Perfect couple cottage

Just as described and it was perfect for a weekend getaway. Right on the lake and host was very attentive and responsive. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Quiet, restful place-nicely appointed. Just a couple of suggestions that would have benefited us--being able to close off the bedroom and window coverings in living area/kitchen that would provide privacy.BTW a beautiful friendly dog!
