Amazing views

Beautiful little house with amazing views. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed exploring the property! Will definitely be back.

Centrally located, nature-lovers retreat

This property is a destination in and of itself. We are now planning a future weekend getaway just to stay here and hike and stargaze. The cabin has everything you need, including being conveniently located just a mile off the main road. If you like being close to nature, this is the perfect place for you.

Relax, Reflect, and Enjoy the silence 2022!

We had such a nice, relaxing time in this property. It was equipped with the essentials needed for the time that we were there. We enjoyed watching movies after a long day out in the heat. The house was very clean and you can tell the owners take pride and making sure their guests feel welcomed. The entrance to the property is very steep, thank goodness we had no problems getting there. We enjoyed the does and deer that strolled around the property. I will definitely be sharing my experience with others and will be back soon. Hopefully the Guadalupe River will have more water when we do come back.

Don't stay here unless you want to sleep with rodents!! My family traveled to Texas due to the loss of a family member. Typically I would have complained to the host right away. But under the circumstances we were greiving and just dealing with our loss and attending the service. When I returned home I sent the host pictures of the disgusting conditions we were staying in and requested a full refund. She declined our request and told me that she would have moved us to another home on the property. Now why in the world would we want to move to another home as it probably would have the same issues. Regardless don't stay here unless you don't mind sleeping with mice!!

We are truly sorry again for your family’s loss and for the difficult circumstances surrounding your stay. That is never an easy season to walk through. We do want to gently clarify a few things for future guests reading this. When you reached out after your stay, we responded promptly, reviewed the photos you sent, and issued a substantial refund as a courtesy — even though the stay had been completed. The photos showed evidence of a single field mouse, which, while certainly unpleasant, is not uncommon in rural Hill Country properties during seasonal weather changes. This was not an infestation, and our homes are regularly serviced and inspected. We also offered to move you immediately had we been notified during your stay. We always want guests comfortable and would have acted right away. We care deeply about our property and our guests’ experience. We take concerns seriously and address them promptly, which we did in this situation. We wish your family peace during this time.

our little place was really cute! we loved our stay so much so much exploring and things to do. The location is perfect. I almost didn't want to leave a review so I can keep this place a secret but the owner is so nice lol :) We will be back soon! thank you for sharing your amazing property!!
