家でくつろいでいるように過ごせた。廻りはとても静かだし、景色もよく、セキュリティのおじさんも優しかった。部屋もかわいらしく、わたし好み。自然がいっぱいで、野生のネネ、ブタが歩いていてビックリしたw 部屋から歩いて10分ちょいでダウンタウンにつく。もう少し歩けばLONGSもあるし、立地がよかった。改善点としては、部屋に前に泊まった人のかわからないドレッシング類があり、衛生的な面を考え私達は使わなかった。棚に小さなゴキブリの死骸1 冷蔵庫の中ががもう少しきれいだとよいティッシュがなく、オーナーにリクエストしたら、トイレットペーパーか？と聞かれたのでクリネックスと答えたら持ってきてくれたが、できれば最初からあるとよい。バスタオルなど滞在分あったが、滞在が長い場合や足りない場合は自分達で洗濯するのか、掃除代は支払ってるのでこれもリクエストで交換なのか、記載してあるとよかった。部屋に絵が飾ってあったが、オーナーの趣味なのアジアンか、インドテイストでハワイらしいものがよいと思った。少し怖かった。駐車場はアメリカにして少し小さく、地下に入るので大きい車を借りた人は要注意でもまた滞在したいです

Perfect vacation spot

Nice, quiet and clean apartment. Easiest check in and check out process I’ve ever had with any rental. Lots of space if we were staying longer to store clothes, etc. The air conditioning worked great which isn’t always the case in Hawaii. Within walking distance of downtown. Will stay here again if going to Hilo

Perfect Condo and Location for WFH (Work From Hawaii)

I love taking my breaks and walk around the complex, go to farmers market or go to all the amazing different food places around. It’s also just minutes to beaches falls , the volcano, farms, botanical gardens and many other beautiful places

Comfortable Property with a Lovely View

The condo itself is very nice with an amazing view of the lagoon and park. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the appliances and such that we needed. The air conditioning worked great. We arrived on a very rainy afternoon (itʻs Hilo!). Donʻt be put off by the exterior of the condo building. It looks like it needs a paint job, but again, itʻs Hilo. The security guard was extremely helpful when we had questions about the parking garage and laundry area (the coin machine for the laundry is in the guardʻs office). Also itʻs a nice parking garage - not dark or scary. There are convenient carts near the security guard to bring up groceries. The property manager, Terry, was very responsive to all inquiries and provided a great list of suggestions of what to do in Hilo. I would definitely stay there again. A couple more comments - the building has government and professional offices on the first 2 floors. You walk through a hallway of offices to get to the parking garage. Also food deliveries come right to your door, the security guard will let the delivery person in. Handy on a rainy night!

Perfect Home away from Home

First time in Hilo, spent a few days sightseeing. The condo was comfortable and convenient- nothing fancy, and the exterior can seem a little un-tropical at first. But waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the gardens, and having so many things within walking distance or a short drive, was fantastic. I also loved the setup - enough privacy for each guest, and a nice kitchen and living space in between. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Terry was wonderful and provided so much helpful information, I felt like a local in no time. It also helped having laundry on site. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Mahalo…

Great spot in Hilo!

Wonderful place with plenty of room! Great view and location. Was close to a few restaurants and a short drive to Volcanoes National Park. We felt safe and the building was well lit.

Nice property

The views are great at this property! The owner, Terry, also gave us wonderful suggestions of local places to visit and things to do. The condo building has 24/7 security and we felt very safe there. The bathroom counters are low for taller people, but everything was clean and well-stocked.

Fantastic place for your family.

We were pleasantly surprised at how great this place was to stay, the location is amazing with access to the park and proximity to all Hilo has to offer. The unit was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was perfect for our kids and us. The living space is well laid out and gave us the perfect balance of simplicity and amenities. Our host Terry was also helpful when we needed anything and very clear about details when we requested them. I would highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again!

Clean & spacious condo in the heart of Hilo!

This condo was perfect for our stay in Hilo. There were so many pros to this rental: convenient location, easy to access, well-stocked kitchen, spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom layout, comfortable living room, parking, communicative owner, and the list goes on and on. This condo was truly a gem and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great, peaceful spot with a beautiful view.

This place had everything we needed. It is all up to date, including appliances, floors, bedding and kitchen supplies. Thanks for the great space. I spent each morning on the lanai with my coffee, the sunrise, and the koi swimming below.

Attention to detail

The best appointed vrbo-type place I’ve ever stayed. Fully supplied kitchen. The beach chairs and cooler were such a great amenity! Night tables on all sides of the beds. Terry even let us know when the lava came back to the park. The view from the balconies is quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to the main tourist street in Hilo. The only negatives: the building and apartment security is pretty minimal (we didn’t have any problems, but a deadbolt would feel a little more secure than just the knob lock); and the stove has been cleaned so thoroughly so many times that the labels are all gone, so it took us a while to figure out where to set the knobs to cook. I would happily stay here again.

Worn on the Outside; Very Clean Inside

It is an older property on the outside but "don't judge this book by its cover". While we were there, maintenance was working extensively on updates, repairs and some remodeling. The bottom 2 or 3 floors were rooms rented and converted to businesses offices. The upper floors were the actual suites for visitors and tourists. It was my wife that was most impressed with the cleanliness of the unit although the kitchen area was a challenge with 2 people trying to occupy that space. The furniture and appliances were in very good condition including the bed which reclined when you wanted to read or watch TV. The location was walkable to downtown Hilo for the ambitious, but a car would be recommended to get there. We did not use the pool but did use that area to BBQ one night. The pool did not appear to be inviting in that the furniture lounge chairs were screwed into the concrete therefore leaving guests to one place to enjoy that day. View from the lanai was very nice although very small. We did spend a few nights there enjoying cocktails and the view but cramped. All in all, the place was nice. I did give it 5 stars rating but it's more like a 4 1/2 star. Rounding up, I will give it a 5.

Centrally located

This property is centrally located in Hilo and the beds are very comfortable. Parking was fine and it was nice to have a covered spot. As others have said the condo is dated and could use updating. The bathroom cabinets are very low. The living room has no curtains/blinds which it does need. The unit could be better stocked with things a traveler needs – we had no tissues, no sponge, no colander, no beach/pool towels, and only one beach chair that we could locate. It would be helpful to have these things in the unit. Owner was responsive when we had one issue with the TV.

Awesome View!

This view from this condo was awesome. We had coffee on the balcony every morning. Check in was simple. And the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms so my husband and I can get ready at the same time. I highly recommend this condo in Hilo if your journey takes you to the east coast.Also had great sunrises. Thanks for a great atay.

Great stay. Lots of aloha!

Our family had a great stay. The property was located in the heart of Hilo, close to many of the shops as restaurants we had planned to visit based on friend recommendations and internet research prior to arrival. Beautiful views of water, manicured lawn, and trees of the Wailoa River State Recreation Area. We vacationed as a family with two adult children. My wife and I stayed in bedroom one, one of our kids stayed in bedroom two, and one of our kids slept on the sofa bed in the Living Room. The sofa bed was comfortable enough, but at the time of our stay the Living Room did not have vertical blinds installed, so there was no way to keep that room dark in the mornings. Each room has its own A/C unit, which kept things cool and comfortable at all times. Terry was a great host - responsive to messages and emails. He provided us with a comprehensive list of things to do and to try in the area. We would definitely stay in this place again, if available, on our next visit. Aloha!
