Beautiful Relaxing Northern Views. Walking distance to Elephant Rocks golf course and Cataract Lake where you can fish, paddle boat or kayak (not included). We initially had a difficult time communicating with the host. Vrbo had my account associated with two different email addresses, which created some confusion, and unfortunately the host did not seem to have the time to fully understand the issue.One concern was the lack of air conditioning. After reaching out, the host eventually explained that there was no AC and that it was not considered necessary because of the ceiling fans and cross breezes. However, the property became quite warm in the afternoons. There is also no screen door on the living room slider, and one of the bedrooms has no opening windows, so there was limited opportunity for airflow. In my opinion, AC would be a significant improvement for this property.There were also several maintenance and comfort issues. The couches are not connected or plugged in, so the reclining features cannot be used. There were limited dish and bath towels, and the patio only had two metal chairs without cushions. The living room curtains are also too small to adequately block the morning sun.In one of the bedrooms, the wall and ceiling appear to be deteriorating and in need of attention. There was also quite a bit of bird droppings around the back of the property and near the front door. The property is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. With some maintenance, better amenities, and improvements to cooling and comfort, this property could be much more enjoyable.

Perfect fit

We stayed for a family reunion and it was perfect for us. It was a little warm the week we stayed so AC would have been a nice addition but the nights cooled off quickly and sleep was good. We will definitely return!

Great location for many adventures

We picked this house based on the location. We were going to spend one full day at the Grand Canyon, and had a rafting trip planned for the other day. This house was a perfect halfway point to both. All the amenities you'll need.

Beautiful

We had 5 adults. Perfect space for everyone to spread out and have own room and bathroom. Scenery around house was stunning, quick to town and grocery store. Owner very responsive. Easy check in and out.

Fall break

Beautiful weather, nice house, cool bathrooms, located near many attractions. The mouse that scurried along the baseboard one evening completely freaked out my daughter-in-law for the rest of our stay, however.

While I do apologize for any scare, Williams AZ is a rural area far removed from city life. This home is nestled between the beautiful Kaibab forest, Elephant Rocks golf course and Cataract Lake so it is possible the occasional critter could get lost. We do have pest control who comes monthly and an amazing professional cleaning service after every stay. We kindly ask all guests to not leave food out and clean up food messes as soon as possible to keep all unwanted guests outside. Thank you for your visit.

Perfect get away

We loved having two master bedrooms and trundle bunk beds! TVs in every room were great. But we loved having the huge dining table for game night the most. My boys were even able to walk to the lake for early morning fishing. We will totally be back. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Gateway to the Canyon

Just a terrific spot for our family vacation. We loved the house. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Williams is a fun town with lots to do. We jumped on the train for the Canyon visit, but the Williams location allowed us to easily visit Flagstaff, Sedona, Bearizona, etc. Communication with Stephanie was so easy and prompt. We absolutely loved the entire experience!

Wonderful

Beautiful home. Great location. Walking distance to the lake and golf course. Nice quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately the golf cart was down during our stay but there was plenty of other things to do. Only downfall was the trash can was never emptied so there was a smell at first. We would definitely stay here again such a nice house.

Nice House, Nice Location

We enjoyed out stay, the home is nice and very comfortable and a great location close to everything Williams has to offer. However we did struggle to get the house to cool down as there is no air conditioning, even with all the door and window open and fans running. Some patio chairs would be a nice addition to enjoy the cool nights. We will plan to come back, just later in the fall.

Good trip to Grand Canyon

About an hour outside of Grand Canyon, this was a perfect base for our family. We had 4 adults and 1 teenager and there was plenty of room for everyone. Couple of notes - listing said there would be laundry detergent but the bottles were empty so we had to buy our own. There was wood for the fire pit but only one chair. Would have been nice to have extra blankets and pillows, as well as extra towels. Overall a good stay, we would return!

NO AC. We arrived and the house was 84 degrees. Luckily, the weather cooled down for the few days we stayed otherwise it would’ve been too much for my parents. One bedroom had no blinds/curtains on a window that’s located above the bed… so you’ll be waking up with the sun every morning. No patio furniture and lots of weeds throughout the front and backyard. The saving grace was the location. Williams is a beautiful little town and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet.

Thank you for your review. Most Northern homes do not have AC built into the home due to cool summer temps dropping in the 50's as stated in the listing details. This home does feature screens on all windows, fans in every room and a security screen front door to enjoy the beautiful cool cross breeze. All photos of the home are up to date including all rooms and the back yard to help guests have an idea what it will be like on arrival. We are glad you enjoyed this Williams, AZ home as it is a beautiful home walking distance to Cataract lake and Elephant Rocks Golf Corse.

First time visitor!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and easy to find. Owner graciously labeled all the cabinets/drawers in the kitchen which made it super easy to find everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen with spices and condiments plus some small appliances (only thing it was missing was wine glasses but I drank my red wine out of a cozy mug 😆) next time we will bring our own 💕 Beds were comfy and clean, water armed up quickly and the bath/shower were spacious. My kids had a blast in the backyard playing with the snow & we sat by the firepit enjoying the fire. Would definitely stay here again, thank you for a great stay!
