Enjoy the best Lake Kerr has to offer. Waterfront home with dock and sandy beach swim area. In a quiet cove with deep water perfect for fishing or just sitting by the water watching the sunset- catch catfish right off the dock. Quiet family friendly community. All the conveniences of home provided. Fire pit perfect for s'mores by the water. Lovely water view from the main living areas. Open floor concept, perfect for enjoying family time. Kayaks for use or bring your boat and keep at the dock. Boat ramp directly across the lake for easy and close boating access. Please note this lake is controlled by the dam and we cannot control lake water levels.

The house was beautiful as well as the view. My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary there and we had a great time. We caught a few fish as well.

We had the most wonderful time!! The home and view of the lake was wonderful. Our grandchildren really enjoyed fishing and playing in the lake. We took our pontoon boat and used it for tubing and exploring other areas on the lake. A boat ramp was directly across from the house and easy to use. We highly recommend staying there. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We will definitely consider using it again!!!

The Manson was a wonderful place to stay. I needed a Mother's Day getaway and this was the perfect home and location to have it at. The Manson was newly renovated, spacious, clean, and very accommodating. Having the private beach was a great treat. Husband was able to fish and kayak and also we had a private fire pit to enjoy at night. The host were communicative and we plan to return again.

The house has the potential to be amazing, there were simply too many small/moderate issues for us to leave a totally positive review. Having to hunt down our own towels, pillows, etc, having lights that were non-functioning, having no working washer and dryer, smells from both the refrigerator and trash can… with some improvements, I think this would be an amazing property.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. It was very spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked. It is a very quiet and peaceful location, right on the lake.

The house is gorgeous, spacious, well-kept. The lake view is good... lots of trees so, it is a bit obscured from the house but the shade is nice. The kitchen has all the cooking things you will need. Bedrooms are stocked well with blankets and pillows. Mattresses are soft. The bathrooms are clean, big, and perfect for showering adults: no tub for small children but that is specified in the description. We brought a portable for our grandson. Towels and wash rags were scarse. The entry way: steep steps, heavy storm door, and no landing to sit your luggage on so pack light! Overall, this is an awesome place! Beautiful!

Me and my kids really enjoyed our stay being right on the water. Walking distance was such a nice view. The location was perfect because with wasn’t far from where I live. The directions was easy to get to. The home was so beautiful.

Kayaks included in the rental made getting on the lake super easy. It was a beautiful, peaceful trip in a secluded neighborhood. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, etc.

Had a great week at the lake. Really enjoyed the home. Fishing was not the greatest because they were lowering the water level. Very spacious and clean.

Host was very nice and helpful my husband and I planned to go on a fishing trip but it Snowed the night before so the guide canceled and we have a up to a year to use our trip but we found things to do we did go to the seven springs winery very nice place and visit buchanan store

Fantastic Lake Stay

Just as described in their listing, this beautiful home on the lake was a perfect spot for our small family to enjoy a peaceful getaway. We loved the natural surroundings of the lake spot and spent the majority of our stay in the water and enjoying quiet hikes nearby. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy this quiet place. The house had all the amenities described and was very comfortable.

We are a military family of 5 who visited the area several years ago and fell in love with the community and lake. We have traveled all over the world and are originally from the Northeast, but nothing beat the quiet country living of Kerr Lake and the surrounding area.

As a family who loves being outdoors, we enjoy boating, hiking, swimming, water sports, camping, and spending time together. This home has given us the opportunity to do all that and more- our true real life dream that we can share with others.

We fell in love with Kerr Lake due to its quiet serene landscape. Kerr Lake is one of the largest lakes in North Carolina however less overpopulated due to its building restrictions and desire to protect the surrounding wildlife. The clean blue waters are unique compared to most lakes. There is less boat traffic, and more serenity. You can literally enjoy the quiet and take in the surrounding nature and beauty of the lake. The property's location provides some of the best sunset views around.

You can literally catch HUGE catfish right from the dock. The property is located in a family friendly community, ideal for any lifestyle. The cove protects the dock and shoreline from rougher weather but provides deep water perfect for swimming and fishing.
