Nestled in a bird sanctuary on an oak filled tidal creek lot with expansive porch views of Charleston harbor, come share coffee with friends and family and watch spectacular marsh morning sun rise. Located minutes to the famous "Edge of America" Folly Beach, beach chairs, cooler and towels are provided for and enjoyable beach excursion.
Centrally located, you are a short trip to historical Charleston, James Island County Park Splash Zone, and neighboring barrier islands. Off Street Parking and Boat Parking

Susan was very accommodating and the view of the marsh is so relaxing. Surprisingly there were not many bugs and I was able to sit on the porch swing at dawn every morning. Usually I’m eaten alive by mosquitoes. That was exactly what we needed. It was also nice to see the dogs and cats :)

Our stay was perfect! The villa was clean and bright, had everything you could need. We loved sitting on the porch during our downtime listening and watching the birds. It was so incredibly peaceful! We enjoyed swimming in the pool, my kids loved it. We would definitely recommend this property!

We loved our stay here! The hosts are wonderful and the accommodations are up-to-date and clean. The location is perfect, right between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. Thank you for the perfect visit!

This was a great place for our family. The yard was perfect for the kids to run around and play. The place was very neat, clean, and the host's were very accommodating and very nice! We will definitely want to come back and stay again.

The property was amazing with wonderful views of the marsh. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen and whole house were well stocked. We really enjoyed eating on the elevated porch with the spectacular views and cool breezes.Susan was so great, She made sure everything was perfect and met all our needs. We will definitely be back. It was a Great Vacation thanks to Susan!!!

Great view overlooking the marsh, with easy access to everything in Charleston. The property is a shared space. The pool and driveway and yard are used by the owners as well. We were surprised once we got there to find out how close the villa and the pool was to the house.

Jennifer, sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes, the space is shared with the owners. The town of James Island will only allow Short Term Rental as long as the owners live on the property. This keeps the parking, noise and parties down in the local neighborhoods. We hope we were able to give you a fun and relaxing weekend!

Susan is a wonderful host. The property is fabulous! The scenery from the very comfortable porch is mesmerizing! If you like nature you will adore this place. We loved watching the birds. We had trouble getting our 21 year old Granddaughter to leave the property to go see the sights! We have never been able to say that before. Truly, this property is an excellent choice. We are going back!

Beautiful sunrise view in a serene location. Quiet neighborhood. Incredible hosts. Clean modern and comfortable living space. Awesome porch with a gas grill and swing bench and swing chair. Huge yard with an outdoor fireplace, pets And a pool! 15 min drive from Folly beach and Downtown. Everything you can ask for at a great price!

Relaxing Getaway

Nice, quiet location with a marsh view. Convenient location with great hosts. The guest house was well decorated and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The rental was very clean and was in a great location. This was one of the best well equipped vaction rental we ever stay in and had everything you would need for a family vaction. We would stay again.

What a find! If you are looking for the perfect getaway, this is it! It has everything you need and more. The Villa is modern and lovely with so many amazing touches. Fresh flowers, coffee maker, coffee, all the cooking supplies you need, beach towels & chairs, bathroom toiletries... The views from the porch will make you want to stay forever! Susan and her husband are the perfect hosts. So gracious, kind, and helpful! We wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely look forward to staying here again!!
