"The DOME" is a unique home with two master suites and a kid's room with a bunk bed. Two additional adult size cots stored in entrance closet for groups looking to spread out. Ample parking for trailers along with over two hundred feet of floating dock at the lake end of a private channel, this home is begging to host families for a vacation of fishing, kayaking, and watersports. One side of the property borders a Lake County Land Trust reserve with many species of herons, egrets, osprey, ducks, turtles, otters, deer and raccoons are routinely observed.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Very nice to dock the boat. Very close to all the great fishing that Clearlake provides. We bbq on the deck overlooking the water every afternoon. It was great. We can’t wait to plan another trip and visit again. Also being able to take our fur babies was so nice as they are a part of our family.

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home, and I can't say enough wonderful things about it. The location is perfect, and the house has everything you could possibly want or need. The view is absolutely amazing, and there is nothing more relaxing than enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the couch while looking through the huge picture window at the lake.I honestly wish I could buy this house. If I owned it, I would never sell it—which I'm sure is exactly how the owners feel. We are so grateful that you choose to share this beautiful home with us. Thank you for another unforgettable stay!

Our fifth or sixth stay, so we knew what to expect and it was as before— which is why we keep going back. We launch 2 bass boats when we arrive and dock them at the house for the week. Couldn’t get a better location and PJ is always responsive right away.

The Dome is located at the end of a cove with a lot of privacy. Plenty of shade to sit outside and enjoy the lake. The host was very responsive and promptly took care of every request .... very friendly. The Dome has a quirky charm which made our stay more an adventure. There was plenty of dock space and they even provided kayaks and a paddle boat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and thank the host for providing a clean and safe environment

The house was so cozy and the kitchen so well appointed. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. We also really enjoyed dining al fresco and paddling on the lake.

Annual lake visit

Our family tries to make an annual trip to the lake and enjoy renting a different VRBO each time . This was one of the most comfortable and best located properties we have experienced. Thanks to the hosts for maintaining a lovely property. We would surely recommend the location to anyone asking .

Great location on ravine

Had a great time with our two kids here- we had fun on kayaks and paddle boat and exploring in the ravine. Was our first time to clear lake and had a nice time! Lots of great things in the home made this place kid friendly!

Fishing Trip

Plenty of parking for 3 trucks and trailers. Unique house, would be a cool spot for anyone looking to stay on the lake.

Charming and Fun!

This is a unique and charming home, in a great location! Comfortable for our group, beautiful view of the water and wildlife, all kinds of birds, good fishing and overall, very comfortable. The home is stocked with the things you'd need and we loved sitting on the couch and watching the lake.

2024 annual guys fishing trip

We’ve stayed 3 years now at the octagon house, always a great time, love the location , private dock and setting! Great amount of parking and space for vehicles with boat trailers! Can’t wait to come back for 2025 trip!

The Dome is awesome!

The kids loved the stay here and ran from room to room looking at all the cool attributes of each. The house was so comfortable and right at the water inlet. Our fishing guide even picked us up from the dock! We will stay here when we come.back and highly recommend the property!

This is our second stay here and that says a lot. The house is very unique. The location and view are wonderful. Having access to kayaks and the paddle boat is a huge draw for this rental. The bird/wildlife exposure is spectacular. We had a few requests upon arrival and the host was very responsive and this made a big difference. Thank you PJ.

We Never Wanted To Leave!

We Loved our Stay at “The Dome” and are already planning our return. The Home is So Unique, Clean & Well Stocked. You can take in the Beautiful View while relaxing inside or outside The hosts were So Kind and promptly replied to any questions we had. Looking Forward to returning!
