Knoxville's BEST! Private Acreage! Close to town & 3 acres to enjoy!

The house is just west of Knoxville on a hard surface quiet road. There are many mature oak and walnut trees. The entire house was remodeled in 2022. Sleeps 10 plus 2 couches. 3 acres to walk around on. Deer, turkeys, squirrels, rabbits and countless variety of birds can be seen year round. There is a pond on site that was redone in 2021 (not full yet but stay tuned for a dock and other fun things). Full kitchen, free WIFI, 2 Smart tvs (so bring your Netflix/Hulu/etc. password). Laundry and all linens are included. There is plenty of parking and room for a boat or small trailer. Large motorhomes or giant race trailers will not clear the trees and probably can't get turned around. The house is a split foyer and not set up to accommodate toddlers or people that have trouble with stairs. There is a deck out back for relaxing. We are confident once you see it, you won't want to leave.

Great private location

Well cared for clean property. House had everything we needed for week stay and was cozy in the iowa winter cold.

Great property

Great property, just close enough to town to be convenient while far enough away to feel secluded. We had 8 total family members stay and the host was nice enough to allow additional extended family over for gatherings. Will be back, thanks Brad, it worked perfect for our needs.

Nice, clean, convenient.

Enjoyed the birds, frogs, rabbits, and deer that we saw on property. Place was clean, near town, not too far from lake. Would recommend this property.

Excellent little getaway!

It was the perfect spot to host our family Christmas! Lots of space and a second living room for the kiddos downstairs. Brad (the host) was super nice to work with and very accommodating! I highly recommend this place!

Home Away from Home

House was perfect for a quick reunion with college friends. The house was very clean and comfortable, and I can't say enough good things about Brad as a host. Great communication, and he even went above and beyond when one of my kids left a favorite stuffed animal behind. Brad let us know the cleaners had found it and mailed it back to us. Great weekend in a great house!

Family Reunion

The house was very nice, however the smart tv kept buffering so much that we couldnt watch tv in the evening. We left early because there was nothing to do there.

Relaxing acreage

This is a wonderfully beautiful acreage! We were close to several small communities to visit and then relax on the deck and by the pond. Deer and rabbits played while we enjoyed our early morning coffee. Very clean and fresh with a very responsive property manager. We will definitely keep this in mind for future trips to the area!

Cute house near racetrack

Adorable house, perfect size for our family. Loved the farm house decor. The kitchen could use a few more items - cutting boards, a knife block, mixing bowls and some sort of a mixer, even a hand mixer would be nice. Otherwise the house was great. The 2 separate living areas were great so both kids and adults could watch what they wanted.

Super nice place

The property was exactly as it was portrayed online. Spotless clean and everything in order. Would definitely stay again for quick get away. I would give 5 stars but pond is in very awkward spot on property and hard to get to to enjoy. It was not completely full but that is because of current drought situation and not a reflection of property owners. Only other thing that was reason for the rating is the house acoustically very noisy inside. Everything echoes and with 6 adults and a toddler it was noticeable. But overall an EXCELLENT property.

This house was so clean and everything was amazing. You may want to bring extra kitchen needs like napkins, salt & pepper, whisk. Beds were extremely comfortable. Brad was so easy to work with!

Great house for a large group

Really enjoyed our stay at this property! The property is large with room outside for many potential activities. There was room for everyone with spacious bedrooms and modern amenities. The highlight of a stay at this property will be the pond once finished. It’s a great spot with a very fun zip line!

The house is located 5 minutes from the Knoxville Raceway, 10 minutes from Lake Red Rock, 16 miles from Pella, 23 miles from the Indianola Balloon Classic, 31 miles from the Iowa Speedway, and 40 minutes to Des Moines. It is easy access wherever you need to be in south central Iowa.

3 acres to enjoy with a pond! Still not full but it is stocked with little fish. Please catch and release if you do fish. A dock and other things to come in the future once the pond is full. Keep us in mind in the future!
