Just a short walk to beautiful, expansive La Jolla Shores Beach, fun shops and good restaurants in the “Shores Village”, this classic, cozy beach bungalow - surrounded by a white picket fence - is the perfect place for your vacation interlude any time of the year.



Open the gate and find yourself on a large brick patio with a comfortable outdoor couch, a small dining table, and a barbecue so you can enjoy dining al fresco after your day’s adventures - while you watch the ever-changing colors of the western sunset. A lawn to the left is a delightful place to relax in the shade, read a book, or take a nap.



Open the door to this 3-bedroom, 2 bath, 1-story 1620 sq. ft. home and immediately to your left is a large spacious living room with a ceiling fan, a 48” flat screen TV, and lots of comfortable seating from which to enjoy it all. A convenient small desk nook is just beyond the living room if needed.



To the right of the door is a dining area with seating for 4 and a small counter with a sink. A modern kitchen, with everything you need to satisfy your culinary desires, has French door access to the side patio where the outside dining table for 4 and the barbecue is.



Straight down the hallway from the front door to the left is a Cal-King master bedroom with a ceiling fan, a flat screen TV, a walk-in closet and an en suite bath with a shower/tub combo.



Down the hallway to the right is the 1st queen guest bedroom, with a ceiling fan for your comfort. The second left takes you to a 2nd queen guest bedroom with a large closet. These 2 bedrooms share a hall bath with a shower.



This home sleeps 5 in beds with a maximum occupancy of 5. All bed and bathrooms are furnished with an ample supply of premium linens to ensure your every comfort.
Additional amenities include garage parking for 2 cars as well as driveway parking, a washer and dryer in the garage, and WIFI and cable.

The ''shores'' area has shops, restaurants and a market within walking distance from this home, as well as rental shops for bikes, surfboards and kayaking, making it a great location for a family vacation.



Here you are also close to freeway access in the event that you wish to explore the varied world-renowned family attractions such as SeaWorld, The San Diego Zoo, and so much more – all just a few miles away.



The simplicity of this home makes it all feel easy – which is perfect for your vacation interlude. Kellogg Park is a beautiful oceanfront park near here too – another beautiful place to relax and recharge too!

This home (like most in this coastal area) does not have air conditioning.



This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Back again, great place

We went back for our third or fourth time, and will keep coming back. The location is of course perfect. Two minutes to the beach and restaurants. Corner lot makes for a nice wraparound yard. Inside space is great, huge airy living room with comfortable couches and recliner, and tons of windows but very private. Two car garage a big plus when street parking starts to fill up. We asked Vacasa about a few things like where the laundry detergent was and they am responded almost instantly each time. They were also about 10% less than other rental sites after taxes and fees. We'll definitely be back!

Good Home, Bad Property Manager

Nice home and location - quick walk to the restaurants and beach. Big garage that can easily fit a suburban with chairs and beach toys. Big bedrooms. The beds were average as far as comfort. Vacasa, the property managers were a nightmare to deal with. I feel bad for any owner who uses Vacasa to manage their property. They are rude, condescending and difficult to deal with. Everytime I was speaking with a different person who had no idea what they were doing. On top of it, they cost the owner additional rent. We reached out a week before our arrival about staying one more night and they wanted to charge us double the nightly rate when it was vacant. They are completely unorganized. Overall, horrible experience with Vacasa.

Great location at the shores

This was our 2nd time staying here. The home is beautiful and spacious and only a few blocks walking distance to the beach. We walked to great restaurants every day. The only suggestion would be to maintain the outdoor furniture and the landscaping needs some TLC!

Nice location, a challenging rental company

We appreciated the location, ample beach equipment, and comfortable beds. We were challenged by certain amenities not being available that were in the description (we did not have a working stove or a jetted tub). We were compensated $250 for the missing items. The check in was challenging. We did not have a key and there were doors that would not lock. It’s frustrating because you don’t want to spend half of a vacation texting about issues that should be resolved before check in. We wouldn’t advise renting through this company.

Failure to disclose

VRBO and Vacasa failed in their attempt to rectify a situation that was deemed “habitable”… for a rabbit, not a vacation family. Truth in adverstising and disclosure. The uninhabitable situation (or one that a person would pay good money for… for 9 vacation nights..rented to us through VRBO as a vacation rental…failed miserably on the part of Vacasa). The SAFETY ISSUES associated with flying rocks, the unbearable noise from the construction, jackhammer, cement trucks,has been the worst part but the dirty towels in the hamper, broken toilet, unkempt grass and sidewalks not what was adverstised)…. We could not stand the noise and vibration any longer and checked into a hotel. We ended up staying at the La Valencia hotel in La Jolla at $1650 per night as this was our only option with a pet friendly properly with immediate availability

Great Find

Super location, clean and easy home with a 3 min walk to the beach and restuarants with outdoor seating. The VACASA staff were quick to respond with questions and made us feel welcome.

Beware of Vacasa

This property is managed by Vacasa. They listing is inaccurate. They don’t respond to messages on VRBO and when you call them they are condescending and rude! I received multiple text messages from them on day of check in from multiple numbers. When I had issues I had to message all the numbers to get a response. The floors were filthy when we checked in. Garage was in the garage and not thrown in the garbage can. When I inquired as to the location of the garbage can they didn’t know and accused me of leaving the bag in the garage! The email with the internet password was incorrect. When I called about it they were not helpful at all! They don’t provide you with barely and toilet paper or dish soap. They tell you you need to purchase your own. No where in listing is that mentioned! I would never ever rent from them again! Great house and location but awful managaement company!

Wonderful house. Great outdoor patio space for morning coffees or a nice dinner. Quick and easy walk to the beach or local coffee shops and restaurants. Equipped with all the necessary amenities. Would definitely stay again!
