Beautiful place. It's right on the water. The waves are dramatic and give a very intimate experience with being this close to the ocean. The house is well stocked for all your beach needs. The parking is convenient and there are no stairs to use between parking and the home. The public beach is down the street and the city walking trail is accessed there. Great spot for being able to walk along the beaches.

This home was breathtaking with even more beautiful views of the ocean. This property was exactly what I was looking for, for our family. We were able to have family dinners outside on the wonderful back deck overlooking the ocean. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy with all the necessities of home! The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend!

This property is definitely one we will return to again. Watching and listening to the waves roll in never gets old. It’s “roomy” in the important areas: living room, dining & kitchen, with a large, very nice covered patio. It checked all of our boxes, therefore the five star review.

We loved our time at Casa Del Mar - it is a small, simple condo with an amazing, expansive view! The location was perfect for us. Note - there is no direct beach access. But, you can easily walk a few blocks to the beach. We even walked all the way to Doheny Beach.

We had a wonderful time here. The waves are crashing so close you can hear them anywhere in the house. Can’t beat the view and the outside deck was set up perfectly to hang out. Nice that it was mostly shaded. Property managers were super responsive.

Bring your camera & be ready for the sunsets & sunrises! We enjoyed the stunning views and quiet serenades of the ocean waves. House is very clean and has everything you need & more! Great communication with the host and even left me beautiful birthday flowers!

Beautiful home with plenty of space for our family of six. Being right on the ocean was incredible. When the tide went out, it opened up a sandy beach where we could play, relax, and soak up the sun before it came back in. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks was a highlight. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe, and it’s close to great restaurants and things to do. Overall, we had a great time. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

What a beautiful home! We loved our stay. All wasexactly as advertised. Home wasso clean and close to everything Dana Point has to offer. Expectation setting and communication from our host was excellent. We can’t wait to book the property again soon!

This is an extremely clean, well equipped home. The views of the ocean are spectacular! You are right on the ocean, amazing! It is a private, quiet, location. Julie is an excellent, very attentive, responsive host. We would definitely stay here again.

Great views and great location

Such a great stay. The ocean is stunning and so is the location. The house was as listed and the communication to the property managers was easy. Will come back again.

Beautiful house with everything you need. We spent most of our time on the back deck/ fire pit listening to the crashing waves. We found it nice to have ocean time without being covered in sand. Occasionally, people would venture onto the empty lot next door and scream as they played with the intense waves but the noise never lasted long. And if people on out on the deck of the house on the other side of you, it is tight quarters and you can hear their conversation, but that’s just due to the nature of California houses being close together along the ocean. We walked down to the beach (just a few houses away) a couple times a day. This property is within a quick drive to so many nice things. The games in the garage were a wonderful added bonus! Overall, this was a great find and we would definitely recommend. Hope to come back in the future!

This is the second time we have had the wonderful opportunity of staying at this delightful beach house.The views out onto the ocean are amazing .The host is very thoughtful and easily accessible. Furniture is very comfortable and the kitchen nicely equipped with both cooking equipment and a nice coffee bar area. The deck area was a very nice area to sit and look out at the ocean with a glass of wine and barbecue our dinner. The fire pit area is very comfortable and spectacular views. We had a relaxing enjoyable weekend get away!

Piece of Paradise

I thoroughly enjoyed my time on Beach Road. You can't get closer to the ocean - the views and sounds of the waves makes for a wonderful vacation. The house is decorated nicely and is well equipped and stocked. The fire pit in the sand, outdoor barbecue area, ping pong table in the garage and bunk room for teens (or kids) were highlights of my stay.

Perfect Vacation!

This is a wonderful location to just relax and let the world go by, Southern California at its finest! There’s nothing like the waves crashing on the rocks outside the patio at high tide on a full moon! The rest of the time is not so bad either. The owners are great folks, very helpful, responsive. We’ll be back.

We had the most incredible stay at this beach house in Dana Point, it truly felt like a dream come true. The location alone is unbeatable, sitting right on the ocean with the most beautiful, calming views.From the moment we walked in, we felt completely welcomed. The soft Zen music playing when we opened the door instantly set the tone: peaceful, relaxing, and just what we needed. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made the experience feel special from the very beginning.The home itself had absolutely everything we could have needed and more. It was so well-stocked and thoughtfully put together, which made our stay effortless and comfortable.This was one of those rare places that just feels right the second you arrive. Warm, inviting, and incredibly relaxing. We would come back in a heartbeat and couldn’t recommend it more.
Beautiful ocean views with amazing sunsets. At high tide, the waves roll right up to the rocks—such an incredible sight.

Wading in the waves right out front—amazing ocean energy! The waves can be a little intense at times, so just something to be aware of with younger kids.
