Property was exactly as advertised. Very clean, well stocked, and nicely accessible to all destinations in the area. We would absolutely book this property again, and would recommend to friends and family.

Great accommodations. Everything that we needed was there. Talking and communicating with Marcia was top notch! If you’re coming to Hill City and need a place to call home, Tin Mill cottage is the answer. Walking distance to downtown, 1800 Train, Krull’s market and so much more! 10 !

The cottage was perfect. Exactly as described and pictured. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes. The living room was comfortable and plenty of light to read or crochet. The location was close to many of the things we wanted to see. I'd definitely recommend this place. The host communicated with me several times before our arrival with helpful information. She was quick to respond to questions as well. Overall this was a great vacation. 10 plus stars!!!

Perfect for 3 guys enjoying bike week on the quieter side of life. Excellent house to stay. 2 queen beds and we brought a blow up mattress for #3. Easy access to fuel and restaurants and grocery and off the beaten path enough to not be bothered by tons of traffic. A nice covered area for the bikes at night. Thank you, Marcia

The cottage was very nice and quiet. The back porch was nice to relax and watch the sunset. Great location to get to all the sites. Don't miss the Needles Highway scenic drive. The granite spires are awesome! We would stay again if back in the area.

This Property is truly on the Heart of the Hills! We absolutely loved this place! The house was very clean and well kept. We didn't use the fire table nor the grill, but it was great that we had those options. The bed was very comfortable and we got great sleeps after long days of hiking and exploring. Super easy access and parking, but you are really off the main road. It's literally within walking distance of the 1880 train depot and downtown Hill City with fantastic food. I recommend the Alpine for the best filet mignon you'll ever have! We appreciated the two coffee options (Keurig and drip). Let's mention the wonderful host! Marcia was outstanding in communication by text and very responsive. I also appreciated the info she left at the property highlighting area food and road conditions. The full size laundry units were a great convenience. The couches were comfy. The view is great. Lots of deer! I highly recommend this centralized location that puts you just minutes from some of the area's best attractions!

I appreciated Marcia’s communications with me from the time I booked the cottage until we left. The cottage had everything we needed from dish soap to paper products. This location is excellent. Each day we explored a different location to see all we wanted. :Devil’s Tower, Spearfish water falls, Deadwood, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, & 1880 Railroad in Hill City.

Out stay was excellent and we will highly recommend this place to others. The communication we had was great and the house was absolutely wonderful to stay in. Perfect place to atay

This was an amazing little place to stay. Very clean, everything we needed, and a quiet place to relax. We really enjoyed feeding the deer carrots. Communication with owner was fantastic. We will certainly stay again!

Was a perfect place to spend a few days with family! Very clean, beds very comfortable, decor perfect. The outside is beautiful. Wish had been warmer to enjoy the deck but these were the dates that we could get away. Would certainly like to stay again. Thank you so much!
