Spacious home has plenty of room to relax. Several large decks allow lots of room for entertaining and just watching the skiers go by. Launch your boat or jet ski just up the river at the IH35 bridge and tie it up at the dock.

The view from the master bedroom is unmatched with a great view of up and down the Lake. Gas Grill and Charcoal Grill are furnished. Close to tubing.

As a host of vacation rentals, I must say this property is not putting its best foot forward, however with a few little thoughtful tweaks it could be great! The location is fantastic! It is close to amenities. Lake Dunlap is so fun. We spent a portion of everyday in the water.

Our family of 12 stayed here for a week. We absolutely loved it! There was plenty of room for all. The view was gorgeous. Loved setting on the back porch deck watching the boats go by. Great place to stay! Would recommend to anyone wanting a great spot to get away.

Beautiful spot by the river

Very Roomy, My suggestions would be to clean dock area up, and to make the patio area more inviting. The area it was in made it quick to get to activities and dining.

Nice Home to Stay In

The location of the home was right on the river and the area was beautiful. It was very comfortable for our family group of 5 for 14 days.

Wonderful Family Weekend

One word to describe our family weekend was wonderful. The accommodations was great. The house was more than we were expecting. It was roomy and clean. The large patio and boat dock for fishing was enjoyed by all. We would definitely stay again and recommend this location to anyone.

Great for a bigger group - lots of beds

Very spacious and met the needs of the large family. Need to spray for bugs as a roach crawled on the upstairs bedroom wall and make sure prior items are removed (body loofa).

Great Place

The house is ideally located on the river. Family enjoyed it and had lots of room to enjoy time together. The patio area and river access is first class. i would highly recommend and will be returning very soon.

Great location for family get together

Our extended loved this property when we met for Christmas. The listing is accurate. The river is low, but it was still nice to stay on the water.

Great views

We had a great time staying at this property. The water was lower than normal but still beautiful and peaceful. We spent hours every evening sitting out on the deck and enjoying the warm breezes. The house is close to town and the Comal. We would stay again.

Great Home for Family Gatherings!

Our family really enjoyed our 3-night weekend. The kitchen/living room area was spacious and worked fantastic for our big family gathering… we had 10 sleep over and 4 drive in for dinner. The view of the river from the deck was both beautiful and relaxing. It also worked well for our 2 year old granddaughter. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Wedding Weekend

This is a great place for a large group to stay together! Plenty of open space both inside and out for groups to gather or break up for visiting. A great variety of sleep options with four bunkbeds downstairs in a very large room near a bathroom and three beds for two and a pair of bunkbeds upstairs! Two baths upstairs keep anyone from having to wait which is a huge help. The deck is nice for a peaceful time and fun to watch water traffic during play time! Easy access to the water as well. We recommend and would stay again!

Great long weekend!

This house is fully stocked in the bathrooms, utility room and the kitchen. The a/c works great after being out in the 100 degree Texas heat! I would rent here again!

Nice roomy home

We had an enjoyable weekend. Check in was easy. The house is roomy and had everything we needed. The lake level was low and it was difficult getting in and out. But we all enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sunrise and sunsets.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!

While the location was great & the house large enough to accommodate visiting family & friends the house itself was very disappointing. It was dirty, unkempt, & overall worn out. We had to clean the house, bathrooms & even the inside of the washing machine. We didn't mind that the house & furnishings were old but we did mind that it was dirty, smelled & an overall mess. The property outside was in bad shape too. Weeds, grass need mowing & deck furniture filthy. We washed the deck & furniture with a hose that had holes in it & we had to buy a nozzle for the hose. We bought waste baskets for the bathrooms, tub mat, ant traps (ants on kitchen counter's & bathroom counters), dish towels ( there were only small dust cloths to use as dish towels). I could go on but you get the idea. It's obvious the owner has never cared for this property & whoever they have cleaning needs to clean! Dirty bathroom mirrors, sinks, tubs, etc. We had to buy hand towels because there weren't enough. We had asked for a new recycling can & never got one.I cannot believe VRBO would take this house as a listing!!!!

Great view on the river.

Nice place to stay with plenty of room and a great view of the river from the deck. Didn't have any wash clothes and hand towels in the Master Bath and only two in the hall bath. Need more coffee cups and glasses in the kitchen. With a 5 bedroom house, then gonna have more people stay there than normal. Overall a nice place though and clean.

Lots of space but river access not easily accessible

This was a great space with lots of bedding and gathering spots. It had a beautiful view. If you are there to get in the river, access is dangerous, especially with the lower water levels and neighbors won’t allow you to use their easier entry. We had several issues that I brought to manager’s attention, who was going to follow up on: microwave - didn’t work & A/C - maintenance issue, overflowing.

We have lived in nearby San Antonio for the past 45 years where I am involved in the Insurance Business. Our roots go a long way back in New Braunfels where my great grandfather was the pastor of the First United Methodist Church from 1881 to 1886..

There are so many fun things to do nearby. The largest water park in the USA is located 2 miles away. Tubing the Guadalupe river is always popular in the summer. All the attractions of San Antonio are only a short drive away. Shopping at the largest outlet mall in Texas near San Marcos is only 20 Minutes away. Bring your boat or jetski and tie up at our dock. There is a boat launch located at the IH35 bridge.
