Enjoy privacy on 25 wooded acres back a private lane and abundant wildlife. Direct access to PA Rail 66 for biking, walking and running. Close to State Game Lands for hunting. 3 miles to North County Trail access. 15 miles to Cook Forest State Park and 6 miles to Penn West University, Clarion River access and Interstate 80. Enjoy evenings by the fire pit, cooking on the outdoor gas grill or over an open flame. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered, front porch and long walks through the woods. Sleeps 6. Washer/Dryer. Full kitchen

Close to local breweries, wineries and restaurants.

Cross Country skiing in the winter on the PA Rt. 66 Rails to Trails or Cook Forest State Park. Enjoy tubing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming at Cook Forest State Park or on the Clarion River in the summertime.

***No parties or events. No hunting on the property. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets around the property.

We loved our stay! Kids were able to run around and have fun in the yard. Waking up and having coffee on the porch was so relaxing. Definitely will stay again!

The attention to the little things was impressive! Just about everything you needed for your stay was available, the location is perfect for the Route 66 bike trail, Cooks forest was 20 minutes away. Awesome getaway rental.

This was a very cute and cozy home. It was perfect for what we needed. We wound having to check out early, but she was very understanding and polite. It's tucked away and very quiet. Would definitely book again!

This property fit my whole family and pet in an ideal location for us close to family. Melissa was super responsive! The property was cute and clean. We will certainly look to stay here again when we come into town.

So pleased with our stay! Clean, well equipped, warm and welcoming. Close to main road but surrounded by trees and right on the paved bike path with three bikes in the garage! Included towels,sheets, coffee, spices, even shampoo and toothpaste. You wont be disappointed in this VRBO.

Melissa was amazing! Super accommodating and the house was lovely. The kitchen is well appointed, anything you could need. The location is great, not far off of the main road, but you feel secluded. The house sits right on a great trial, had we brought our bikes, you could ride to a brewery. Thanks for an excellent weekend trip!!

Excellent location and facility!

Everything was super clean and cozy. There were very nice decorating touches without being “cutesy”. The exterior was lovely as well.

The house was extremely clean and has all the amenities of home in the most peaceful and serene atmosphere the bottle of champaign in the refrigerator was a pleasent surprise and was greatly appriciated we look forward to booking again soon

motorcycle weekend in cooks forest

we were pleasantly surprised and thrilled with how secluded and beauty of the property. The yard and fire ring gave us some very relaxing time after our rides enjoying the fire pit.

Perfect location

We were in town for graduation at Clarion and this was the perfect place to stay. From morning coffee on the front porch and walking the bike trail to cooking on the grill and fires at night in the fire pit, this place has it all. The location is so private yet close to the college and our favorite spot Deer Creek Winery! Lovely decor inside this amazing house.

Weekend getaway

I absolutely love this house. This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint! The house is very clean! The treats they leave are a nice touch! The property is absolutely gorgeous and very private. I would recommend this place over and over again. Hopefully get to stay here again soon!

Girls weekend.

We went for a girls get away and this was a perfect place. No neighbors but yet close enough to town. Love to be able to walk the property and took some amazing pictures. This is a great get away if looking for a place off the beaten path. Would recommend it to anyone that likes the wilderness.

Mike and I grew up in the Clarion and Brookville area. Our family enjoys skiing, hunting, boating, sports and anything outdoors. We love living in the woods and spending time with family and friends.

Raven's Retreat has been in my family for many generations. It was my mother's homestead and we now enjoy sharing this hidden treasure with our guests. This area has so much to offer those who enjoy the outdoors and change in seasons. We are close to Cook Forest State park where you can hike, canoe, kayak and simply enjoy the outdoors. The are many access points to the North County Trail for hiking and state game lands for hunting. You can bike, run and XC ski for miles along the PA Rt 66 Rails to Trails with direct access from the house. We are 6 miles from PennWest Clarion and Interstate 80. There are many local breweries, wineries and wonderful restaurants offering a wide variety of menu choices.
