Spring Break in the OBX

This house provided an excellent location for a vacation in the OBX! We enjoyed every part of this house from the heated pool to the family fun game room. With a bathroom adjoining every bedroom, it gave our kids some needed alone space. This house will be our go to for future trips to the Outer Banks.

Lovely home in a prime location

We had a wonderful time staying at Mermaid Way! It is a beautiful home and truly is in a phenomenal location. It was great having all private bathrooms. The beds were comfy and the kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The house is super close to Jockey's Ridge, Wright Brothers Memorial, tons of stores, and a quick stroll to the beqch access.

Fabulous weekend!

Our stay here was wonderful! The host was very responsive with the few questions we had! The hot tub and pool were perfect! Very close walk to the beach and great restaurants! Highly recommend this place for your OBX vacation!!

Perfect spacious beach house!

Great walkable location centrally located. The pool and hot tub were a huge plus and the upstairs living space was perfect for our group hangouts!

Family vacation 2024

Great vacation the house was great everything was clean and as it stated in the listing! Easy walk to the beach even with small children and the pool was fantastic! Would highly recommend and we are planning to stay here again! Thanks for a great vacation in the Outer Banks !!

Family/friends summer trip

We had a very nice stay. The cleaning company could have done a little better, but it was nothing major. The rooms are very nice. The pool was great. Location is rather noisy due to traffic. House is very conveniently located to everything OBX.

Excellent Spring Break

We had a lovely time at this property which was close to everything we wanted to explore. Loved having the grocery store and mini golf nearby. The heated pool and hot tub were used everyday. The street traffic noise was very loud when relaxing by the pool or on street side bedrooms.

Excellent house

Excellent property! Very convenient to stores and mini golf. The pool was a great feature when you weren’t at the beach. Its a very short walk to the public beach access. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone

Family Vacation

Awesome house with a great location to everything! Although the rain got in the way of a few our days, the house gave us everything we needed to feel right at home. The pool was the best part for the kids! The property manager was super attentive and helpful with any questions we had.

Great House & Host

This house was great for our vacation to outer banks. There was enough space for all of us. We enjoyed the heated pool on the breezy days during our stay. The kids were in the pool every single day. It was a short walk to the beach for the morning sunrises. It was a great home away from home for a week.

House was great with beautiful pool. Had a tent for beach so drove up to parking early in morning and then walked with cart to beach. Loved the convenience of Publix!

Loving Mermaids

What a beautiful home!! The most well stocked kitchen ever you don’t need to bring a thing but the food!! We had such a beautiful time here!! The noise of traffic took a little getting use to but so worth the stay!! We will definitely be back!!

Great Family Beach House

The house was able to accommodate our big family. The location was great because it was only 5 min walk to the ocean and 10 min drive to the soundside. The property came with an outdoor pool for our non-beach days. The property owner were really responsive and check-in was super simple. Would love to rent again in the near future and highly recommended for family trips. Cheers!!

Nice house

We enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, but hot tub and showers weren’t clean. Rest of house was nice. Close to beach but on a busy road and could hear the traffic all the time. Really the only bad part about our stay, and our fault we didn’t look at the map to locate proximity to other landmarks other than the beach. Owner/property manager was very responsive and even offered us late check out with no charge since no future guest checking in right after us.

Family Vacation

It was amazing the house was awesome and the owners were very nice. We had great communication with them the entire week. My grandson loves the beach and it close we went every day except Thursday due to the weather. He also loved the pool he is a water monkey. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with family it was close to alot of sightseeing which we also did. Thank you again for the great week --The Baldwins and Hess's
