Relax in sunny Poʻipū at this updated 1-bedroom condo featuring a split AC system, custom living room shutters, and keyless front door entry with virtual front desk support. Walk to the beach, enjoy the pool & athletic club, and experience true island comfort.



The Neighborhood:

Poipu Beach Athletic Club Pool Closure:



The Poipu Beach Athletic Club pool and pool deck will be temporarily closed beginning September 9, 2026, for approximately four weeks while improvements and resurfacing are completed. Reopening is anticipated in early October.



During the closure, guests can still enjoy the club’s fitness centers, cold plunges, sports courts, and family activities in the lower field, including lawn games, a bouncy house, and Water Slide Saturdays. The club will remain open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Welcome to Ohia Lehua 119 at Kiahuna Plantation, a newly updated and beautifully furnished one-bedroom, one-bath retreat on Kaua‘i’s sunny South Shore. Located on the second floor with easy access, this condo combines island charm with modern comfort.

Inside, you’ll find a split AC system to keep every room cool, fast WiFi, and keyless front door entry with virtual front desk support for a smooth, hassle-free arrival. The spacious living area features a queen sleeper sofa, 50” smart TV, and custom shutters for added privacy and light control — perfect for relaxing after a day of island adventures. The place was nice, wonderful amenities! Although the hot tub was out of order for our whole stay, but it’s okay we spent most of our time exploring the beautiful island anyway!

Great location with nice amenities at the Athletic club and restaurants close by. Loved the high ceilings, large deck and AC. The property manager provided a lot of great recommendations for activities, clear check-in instructions, and concise information ahead of our trip. Will stay with KEM again in Poipu!

Our stay was very good. We were told that we would get an Ocean View room but we were placed clear to the back of the buildings and there was no Ocean View.

You could see the ocean but not the beach. Overall, very nice. I had expected a bit more space. We had very little space to put clothing/luggage.

The location and view of the ocean was a great choice near poipu beach, a quick 4 minute walk to the beach. Minus one star for the fact that the building was under construction, with wet paint, pressure washing during the day and blocked entrances. Being close to the road meant there is some car noise at night. Otherwise a very pleasant older style unit.

The property title states steps from the beach and the map makes you believe it’s a condo that is very close to the beach. It is not. It’s the last building on the complex next to the highway. I tried contacting host and the person texted and told me they would get back to me immediately. They did not! Note, also that the pool is not on the condo complex. It’s on the other side of the road and the vibe is very much a child’s pool. Really not an ideal location for an adults traveling without children.

Aloha Norma, We would like to address a few points raised in your review for future guests considering this property. Immediately upon arrival, you contacted us and requested a $500 refund, which represented more than 1/3 of the total cost of your stay. Your concern was that the property was not within walking distance to the beach. We respectfully declined this request because the property is, in fact, located within a very short distance to the beach. To verify this, we personally timed the walk from the property to the sand, and it took just over two minutes. Afterward, you contacted VRBO to present your concerns. After reviewing the information, VRBO agreed that the listing description was accurate and sided with us. We take great pride in presenting our properties honestly and transparently. Our goal is always to ensure that guests know exactly what to expect and enjoy a smooth and memorable stay. Regarding the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, this amenity offers much more than just a pool. Guests have access to tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, and an on-site restaurant and bar. While families with children are certainly welcome, the club is designed to appeal to guests of all ages and offers a variety of activities that many adults particularly enjoy. We encourage prospective guests to read our many past reviews, which reflect the quality and care we take to provide an exceptional vacation experience for all of our guests.
