Sunset Kahili 304 ... Watch stunning sunsets and the ever-changing ocean from our recently refurbished, bright, and airy unit at Sunset Kahili. This clean and comfortable open-area corner unit has an upgraded kitchen and bathroom with granite counter-tops; comfortable patio furniture; and porcelain tile floors. The upgraded bathroom has a walk-in shower. Wireless high speed internet, HD television, and over 200 cable channels make this condo even more comfortable for guests. The bedroom, with king bed and full en-suite, can be separated from the living space by exotic sliding shoji doors. A perfect choice for couples looking for a quiet, friendly, and convenient holiday spot.

Enjoy the boundless ocean views and spectacular sunsets from the living room, bedroom, and private lanai of this spacious one bedroom, one bath condominium. From your third floor viewpoint, located conveniently close to the elevator and staircase in this 35 unit non-smoking complex, view a daily panorama that often includes playful humpback whales (December - April), spinner dolphins, curious sea turtles, surfers, kayakers, outrigger canoes, and a potpourri of other sea traffic against the gentle background murmur of waves.

A short walk west past “Turtle Cove” to watch the sea turtles nibbling for munchies on the rocks or the waves breaking on Brennecke’s beach, brings you to the renowned Poipu Beach. There, you often find monk seals or sea turtles lounging on the sand while children frolic on the ‘baby beach’ and snorkelers revel in the amazingly diverse underwater life. Heading east along a picturesque walking trail above the seaside cliffs takes you to beautiful remote beaches. Shopping, restaurants, and attractions are nearby. Indeed, Travel & Leisure, August, 2010, announced Kauai as the #1 island in the state of Hawaii and #2 island overall in the world (#1 is Galapagos).

Poipu Beach is about a 5-minute walk. Wednesday afternoons enjoy the farmer's market at Kukui'ula Village Shopping Center with entertaining live music.

Fabulous vacation

The apartment was well decorated and had all the supplies needed for a beach vacation! Best stocked kitchen made preparing meals super easy! Highly recommend this condo - would definitely stay again!

Perfect!

Exceptionally clean and well stocked condo. Lots of personal touches and attention to detail. Spectacular sunset views from the lanai. Well kept pool and property.

The only disappointment was the stark concrete nature of the building itself. Very few garden plantings or any charm on the outside.

Great sunset and quiet neighborhood

Very well furnished condo in a quiet neighborhood. Condo has all the amenities you need while exploring the island including beach chairs, boogey board, cooler, towels, etc. All the kitchen utensils necessary an lots of spices etc. Fantastic daily sunsets from the deck. It was also nice to jump in the pool after a beach day. Very comfortable king bed also!

Excellent! Very comfortable, great location & views

We loved this condo! It was the best stocked vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. It has great kitchen supplies, a stocked pantry, all the beach gear you’d need, etc. The lanai was lovely with great ocean, beach, pool, and sunset views. Only a 5-10 minute walk to Poipu beach. Under 10 minute drive to many restaurants and grocery options. Internet speed was great. The ocean breeze and fans kept the temperature very comfortable. Comfortable bed too. Would love to stay here again!

Ocean breezes, beautiful views and we love to walk to Poipu beach every morning to see the turtles and Seals. The sunsets from the lanai are breathtaking! We were not sure if the room temperature would be an issue without A/C, but between the ocean breeze and the fans, the room stays very pleasant. (But we don't spend a ton of time in the room, with so much to do on Kauai!) This is our 4th stay at Sunset Kahii and we will be back!

Wonderful Vacation Spot

Kauai Vacation Rentals had a packet ready for us with precise directions and parking spot. The unit was clean, had everything we needed. The view from the lanai was beautiful. We ate out there all the time. It will get warm in the unit if you don’t keep the drapes closed in the afternoons. It was very quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be back again.

It also was equipped with everything you need and more. It was a quick walk to Poipu Beach. The TV was a little frustrating to use and air conditioning would have been nice. Also, it was inconvenient to have to pick up and drop off the keys.

Never again !!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really didn't care for this unit and complex in general. I was very uncomfortable with all the mirrors throughout the condo. Way too much. The wicker made chairs were terrible also. The most uncomfortable space was out on the Lanai, where the neighbors lanai was only about 5 feet away and it's like i had no privacy, nor did they. I was constantly worried about the TV being too loud also. Just a very weird place, in my opinion. Never again!!

In the pass we have always have met the owners, in this case that didn't happen. We got charged twice (booking fee) once from VRBO and once for Management Company. Floors and cushions NEED to be cleaned. Lack on privacy from balcony Unit was Very well equipped would not rent this unit or work with VRBO in the future!!

A great stay at Poipu Beach

Everything provided, perfect apartment and very nice view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets.My wife and I have been to Poipu 4 times, first time in Sunset Kahili, a very good experience.The entire complex is well maintained and clean. We had one neighbor doing some tile work for a few days, but nothing that would ruin our days.The entire complex is very sensitive to noise, so you have to talk quietly. A normal conversation or tv sound can be heard all over. We had a day with loud neighbors but it was taken care of by the complex manager immediately.All in all, a very nice week.

A Million Dollar View

We really enjoyed our stay at your condos & could not believe the full ocean view from our lanai! I don’t think we could have afforded a hotel room with the same view! We found the location to be perfect for heading out to all shores for activities & the area was so much quieter than Kaapa for instance. The condo was well stocked with everything you could need including beach chairs, umbrella & towels, all things you couldn’t bring with you! The bed was comfortable & you could hear the waves crashing outside! The bathroom had a spacious vanity & there was great closet/storage space to easily unpack & feel at home. We didn’t cook meals but the full size refrigerator & the coffee pot came in very handy. It was a very hands off process as far as the rental company goes but we were given phone numbers to call if we needed anything so we had our privacy! We could not have been more pleased with these accommodations & would book it again! Mahalo!

Loved Sunset Kahili Unit 304 !

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and equipped with every amenity we could wish for. Immaculately clean.What could be improved: There was no air conditioning, so it was very hot at certain times of the day. It was 80+ degrees inside the unit in the evenings due to the western sun exposure, even though all windows and louvers were wide open and there was a 15mph wind, and we had all the fans turned on.The magnetically attached shower head wasn’t angled enough to prevent water from spraying onto the floor.We appreciated the laundry supplies, but the Tide pods have too strong fragrance. It would be better to provide fragrance-free products.All in all, we would recommend Sunset Kahili 304!

Reviewer Comments: Directions from real estate company to Sunny Kahilil perfect with envelope and keys on their porch...easy access with elevator, fabulous view from the condo , just as the website showed...shocked with happiness at how well this lovely place was stocked with essentials...very comfortable bed and shower,living room furniture updated and also comfortable....the view was a source of our entertainment the ocean was full of daily happenings..the pool was so nice after a day on the island..Poipu was suggested by a neighbor and proved to be wonderful..we traveled the whole island and favored Poipu for the weather and beaches...the walk to the beach from the condo was quick and. The Owners: My wife and I come from western Canada where we have unlimited spaces and wide-open sky. The location of our condo gives us the same wonderful open view that we love so much without the sub-zero temperatures of our winters. We also enjoy the slower pace and lack of congestion that this island offers.

We bought this property because we think our condo offers the best location in the sunniest part of Kauai and we wanted to be assured that we had the same view and amenities year after year. We have never vacationed in a place with a better ocean view.

We have visited the other islands of Hawaii, but we so much enjoyed this location, the people, and the hospitable atmosphere of Kauai that we chose this vacation spot above any other. We hope you will consider staying with us to enjoy the amenities of our condo and of the Garden Isle. Plus, our lanai provides wonderful vistas of the ocean, whales, and sunsets.
