Location was perfect, we spent our days walking to Forest Park and trying coffee shops, walked to the metro to catch a Cardinals game.Slept great, and enjoyed the apt for quick meals and resting our feet.

Apt was cute, had everything you need for your stay. Walk to Metrolink. Easy parking in fenced in parking lot. All in all was alot of fun visting St.Louis and staying in apartment.

Comfortable, Quiet but close to so much

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location close to so much to do. Secure but with easy access. Comfortable furniture and beds. Would definitely stay again.

We very much so enjoyed our stay here! Getting into the home was very easy, the property was very clean, and provided everything listed. I felt very safe in the neighborhood where the property is and anything you may need is only about a 20 minute walk or an even shorter drive. I had a few questions when I arrived at the property and within 10 minutes at most the host had responded to me! Would definitely book with them again!

Our stay was wonderful! Libby is extremely quick to respond, helpful, and kind. We loved the updates to the beautiful older building. Plenty of parking was available in front of and behind the building. It was nice to see all the work being done across the street to the buildings damaged in the June 2025 tornado. The neighborhood is safe and accessible to so many areas in St. Louis. We plan on staying here again during our child's years at Washington University in St. Louis.

Great location and accomodations

My family and I stayed for 4 nights, and it met our needs and expectations perfectly. The location is a few blocks from Forest Park where we spent 2 of our 4 days- seeing the zoo, walking, visiting the museums. It is also a short drive into the city. Beds were comfortable, towels were soft and kitchen accessories were a bonus. We enjoyed our stay.

Very comfy place

Close to attractions in st. Louis and very close to zoo. On third floor, so great exercise. Super comfy beds.

Girlfriend Get Away

We had a great stay. What a cute, cozy apartment in a great part of St Louis. The neighborhood was quiet & close to the metro for ease of visiting St Louis sites. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone staying in St Louis.

Quiet location

Quiet location, never heard any of the other tenants in the building. Gated off street parking was a bonus. Beds were comfortable. Excellent wi-fi coverage.

Our stay started off with neither bed made when we arrived 2 1/2 hours after check-in time. Tried calling the host with calls going to a full voicemail account; instructions should say to text host. VRBO's automated system only made the frustration worse. Upon checking out, the keypad lock on front door was supposed to work until 10am. Found myself locked out at 930am but fortunately had the key to the rear door. Biggest plus for the place was its convenient location that was close to everything we wanted to see and the Metro.

Patrick's frustration was legit and I am sorry for the confusion with his suite not being ready. There was an error made by my cleaner. Please know that I always give guests my phone number prior to check in so you can call or text me at any time. Patrick was a great guest and I hope he will return on his next visit to St. Louis.

Free gated parking

We enjoyed staying at Suites in the Lou. The property is old, historic. You may enjoy the building’s character. Easy convenient metro stop. Close to many more vibrant neighborhoods. The parking is wonderful.

Clean, comfortable and safe stay!

Very cute and comfortable place for being such an old building. Lots of character! We felt safe in the neighborhood with lots of college students and dog-walkers around. Everything felt very clean. The updated air conditioning worked great! We were on the top floor so it was very quiet!

St. Louis Vacation

Good location for getting around to locations all over St. Louis. Walkable to metro link stop and parts of Forest Park! Be aware if you have issues with stairs as our unit was up several flights of stairs but overall a very clean quiet and convenient place to stay! Owners were very helpful and easy to work with! Replied quickly to any messages.

Great unit, great location!

I rented this unit for a 30 day stay and i am glad I did. The unit is very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. Loved the gated parking lot, super comfortable bed and living room. I spend a few beautiful days walking through Forest Park even in January and part of February. The owners were very accommodating and arranged for me to extend my stay for a day. This is a great unit.

Great Location

Great location on a quiet street. We rode the nearby Metrolink to Busch Stadium for a Cardinals game but used our vehicle the rest of the weekend to explore different areas of STL City and County. The gated parking lot was a bonus. We liked that there was a grocery store within walking distance. We enjoyed the views from the third floor, but if you aren't a fan of stairs, request a lower level apartment in the building.

Great Stay!!

We were arriving early, the owners let us check in early. We noticed the metro was around the block if we needed to use it, we drove into town but found the option to be very convenient. Our car felt safe as it was inside a gated parking lot. Our suite was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time exploring town instead of using their amenities, however we did use the free WIFI. And we loved they had fans in the rooms, we like white noise when we sleep.

Excellent Stay

A visit to my granddaughter at college led us to the Suites in the Lou. It was perfect for our 6 night stay. Nicely furnished, comfortable beds and a fullly equipped kitchen all added to making it a wonderful place for a short term stay. A bonus was the neighborhood. Located on a residential street with leafy trees dressed in fall colors, people walking dogs and no traffic it was a quiet, peaceful place. Libby, the manager, was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. All good.

Great place

I really like this place. I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in St. Louis. Location great: quiet neighborhood and convenient to Metrolink, Forest Park, Central West End, and U City Loop. As they note, you have to walk up two flights. Older building; apartment has a bit of a DIY feel to it. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Plenty of parking in the back. (The entrance to the parking is on the adjacent side street; that wasn’t immediately obvious to me.)

Definitely not as nice as the pictures make it look. Moving the car from front to back for check in and check out was inconvenient. Gate was broken so the gated parking that I was looking forward to wasn’t relevant. Bed was very worn down. Lots of noise from the house itself and even more from all the construction all around it (obviously the host cannot help that ) a few little things broken. It just was not what we were expecting. The Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Megan - Thank you for staying with us. Guests love this location and the ease of access to Forest Park, WashU and BJC Hospital. Your review is very helpful because I thought I had updated all my descriptions re: the open gate, but obviously I missed one. Our off-street parking lot is fenced-in but not currently gated. However, guests have not had any security issues in lieu of this. The broken desk drawer was just a loose bolt and easily fixed. When something breaks, the host usually only finds out from the next guest. I appreciate you notifying us of that.
